    Didn't fit

I'm loving it, it's such a pretty bra. And so "flat", there's no lace to show through a tight top or anything!
And the band is properly tight! I cannot close it without using an extender right now, but I like that as it means I will get more life out of the bra before the band stretches too much.

The main issue I have with this bra (and the 70LL one) is that the gore is painful. This is most likely (from what I know now) a combination of my sternum not being used to gores that tack on the underside plus the weight of the boobs. The ... PL doesn't lift much in the center, something that it appears I do need in a bra.
Cups seem to be perfect, when I push the gore flat they do not quadraboob. So I'm thinking this is my size.
*edit on this october 2013* I've discovered the source of the pain. I need to wear the bras 1 hook larger. When I do this, the bra does not pain me at all. Yay!

*edit end of June 2013* I no longer need the extender, I'm wearing the bra mostly on the second set of hooks now. Cups are when I look closely not perfect after all, when I push the gore flat it looks like just a touch overflow. But still not tacking and hurting on the underside after a day's wear.
I now know for sure that it's not the lack of tacking in the past, as I now own several Panache Jasmines that *do* tack properly and they don't hurt me AT ALL. 32K and 32KK (altered down 34K) Jasmines, they are.

    • How did you order a 70MM bra from Ewa Michalak?
I thought that they make up to 75LL.
The 70MM seems better on you.

    • it's a 70M, not MM, and the sister size of 75LL. You order it the same way you would a 75LL, which is emailing them requesting a custom made bra :)

    • This bra looks so pretty. But I know I can't do plunges now I think. I do like Ewa's S style though. Thanks sooo much for posting about a 70M. I felt a bit like a monster because I am in the process of trying to order two 70Ms and it seemed like I was the only one who actually needed that size (for my right boob, my left is apparently two cup sizes smaller atm which makes me feel even more odd). Plus now I'm pretty confident the depth will be okay as I seem to need about 15.5-16. Thank you, you looked great in this!

    • 1

Thanks, glad you like my review, it sure is a pretty bra! Ugh, 2 cup sizes difference seems to add a whole load of extra difficulties!
I hope your 70M bras will be awesome for you!

    • 1

I wear a 70M too and I also have a noticeably larger right boob. So, you're not alone! And you'll have someone to sell your bras to if they turn out too big. But I hope they work out :-)

    • Well hey that's good to know, thanks I feel better. I was a bit nervous no one else here would be able to wear the bras if they didn't work out :) Thanks a lot for helping me not feel like I'm alone in this and the well wishes!

    • Yeah you'll totally have people to sell them too!
Do let us know if they fit by posting them here on bratabase!!

    • I've never known anyone near my size in real life, so it was quite refreshing to discover "others like me" on Bratabase. :-)

    • For me toooooo!!! (although of course I got to reading CurvyWordy before I discovered Bratabase... but that's only 1 gal :) )

    • Haha same. So of course it's not hard to feel like you have these total monstrosities when you never seen anyone quite like you. Just turns out we're rare I guess :) I will definitely be adding to Bratabase. I will have them sometime around the end of March. I got S Wodzianka (just came out), S Charlie (custom based of Pl Charlie) and S Onyks (custom off of Pl Onyks) so I'm not sure how I'll be able to add the custom stuff though.

  2. This has a crazy tight band. I never thought I would see the day where I actually got a good fit using the +4 method! I usually wear a 30HH in most brands, 30J-K in EM, but this bra fits me perfectly! It's really comfortable and fits much better than the 32GG and 30GG decos I'm addicted to! I can wear it with or without the pads. I don't need them to fill the bra, but don't quadboob with them which I really like https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />. I can control my cleavage level.

I just compared this bra to other Ewas, and it closely matches several 65K PL bras! That makes a lot more sense, so if you get the Stalowka, go up 1-2 band sizes, and down a few cups from your PL size. This sizing discrepancy is why I buy used EM's and don't order from them . . . If it weren't for bratabase measurements, I never would have dreamed this bra in this size would fit me.

    Didn't fit

I ordered this bra in a 60H, however I should have ordered it in a 60GG, which I think would be just perfect. For size reference, I usually wear a 28FF. I'll be re-ordering and hopefully will get the right cup size!

I love so much about this bra, however. The cups are VERY sturdy. In fact, it's almost hard to tell the cups are too big because they just sort of...hold themselves up! I like the overall shape the cups give me, very up front and lifted from the center seam.

The fabric is very soft, and the elastic is very stretchy (in a good way, not too ... loose). I found the 28 band (60 band) to be comparable to my Cleo Marcie and Cleo Melissa, in terms of firmness, both of which I own in a 28 band.

This bra is very very comfortable. At the recommendation of other Bratabase users (thanks ladies!) I ordered this bra with three hooks instead of two, since it was a custom order anyway, and this is DEFINITELY the way to go guys! So incredibly well supported! This just steels my resolve that more manufacturers should start to stray from the two-hook model more. So much comfort.

    Didn't fit

Overall good fit. Ordering (and waiting) for an Ewa was a bit daunting. I wish now I'd just taken the leap of faith from the start. This woman knows how to make a BRA!!! I went round and round about band and cup size FOREVER. I ended up ordering this in an 80JJ (36JJ) because of reviews I read. I'm on a weight loss journey and I figured I could wear an extender until it stretched out and I lost a little more weight. I think that was the right choice for this bra. The band is stretchier than the ... Karmelki 80K, although the stretched band measurements are the same. This unstretched band is 2" smaller than the Karmelki unstretched band.

I have tightened the straps slightly since I took these pics. They do tend to fall down and I think part of that is the extender making the strap attachment on the back wider and thus too wide. LOVE the straps. While they don't adjust all of the way, they feel soooo comfy. The front half are made from the same soft material as the rest of the bra instead of elastic all of the way and are just such a lovely relief from the sharp edges of elastic straps. I didn't realize how uncomfortable other straps were until I had these on!

The lower elastic on the band is TOO THIN. I compared it to the Karmelki and it's about 1/8 inch smaller in width. This is NOT a good thing. When the bra is on, the elastic tends to cut in, where it doesn't on the Karmelki. I have to wear this with the top 2 hooks 1 row tighter than the bottom hook to get better support from the band without the elastic cutting in. Also, it tends to roll under and cut in under the cups, which is a problem I have with most bras. I have a homemade bra liner to deal with that. I think it is partially due to being fat. There is pudge that starts directly under the band, where it is cutting in. Perhaps weight loss will help that.

The cups. Aaaaaah. Warm. Soft. Huggy (like some others have reported). Love it. Will probably hate it in the summertime heat when we often have temps of 110 degrees. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> I'm not a big fan of seamed bras, but the seams don't show too badly under a shirt.

The shape is nice. Lifted, round, forward - though it seems not quite as forward as the Panache Jasmine or Cleo Meg.

The bra seems very supportive, doesn't seem to slip down too far or fold in the bottom of the cups (at least not yet.

This is not a cute or beautiful bra. More utilitarian looking, but WAY COMFORTABLE.

I hope it will still fit when I've lost another 15-20 pounds. I have no hopes that it will still fit when I reach my goal weight (I have a good 50-60 pounds to be lost).

I bought this 60JJ Ewa Mocjalak Effuniak Bra off of a secondhand seller site kind of on accident. There were a couple of these Plunge Style Ewa Bras for sale there that I was looking at with 60 65 70 bands and eventually decided to make/accept an offer for one. Many of the sellers, including this one, used a stock photo as the main picture with a similar price range which had me confused enough to order a different one than intended, so this Bra is way too big. I don't have a firm grasp on Ewas sizing yet, but this seems to fit similarly or a bit ... larger than my Comexim UK28GG (60L) Plunge. This band is a little bit firmer. Unfortunately, this bra has some issues (that were mostly disclosed in the origenal add.) I suspect this bra got caught on something and damaged spinning in the wash due to the bent, loose, and missing fasteners. I cant clasp it on the loosest set but wear this bra on the next set but it's a bit firmer than I like, i would likely go up a band size. The cup size is also way too big I can fill a decent amount of the bottom but there is a lot of extra room in the top of these tall cups. The cups are a little wide for me and the gore a bit tall with the inner wires pushing my soft tissue towards my armpits a bit. There are spacious cookie pockets but it did not come with cookies. I am pretty sure this is a 60JJ from the origenal ad though I am not sure of its history. I would consider an altered Ewa Plunge in a 65G maybe and pad out the side for my smaller higher breast. I think this bra would be great for someone with a small underbust and proportionally large cups if it were newer and a size match. I was a little bummed I ordered it only because the price was similar to less worn Polish bras on here. I may try to fix it and get the stains out and or just give it away to someone with better sewing skills. It was my error getting it and I did get more bras that week that were excellent. I do love Polish bras and can not wait to try more on my size!

Beautiful, but doesn't fit at all. Literally even with an extender cannot close it. The straps are also a huge pain to adjust

  7. I’ve been wearing EM bras for a few years, but this is my first try with the PL style. I was never interested by the three cut cups and I wasn’t sure what size would fit. I decided to make the first try with a used bra before purchasing from Ewa.
I wasn’t sure if my usual cup would fit, I feel better in 65dd/30dd these days, but 70dd is actually perfect.
The cup volume is perfect even though there is a micro-quad boob effect right after putting it on, but it disappears after a while. In comparison with 3D style, the cups in the center are higher which keep ... my breast tissue in place, and lower under the armpits which is much better than in 3D.
The band must be firm, because it fits on the second hook and I usually wear 65 band in EM. This band is extremely comfortable, it adjusts perfectly to the changes of ribcage volume.
The straps are very comfortable, can be too short for low set breast though.
Stalowka gives a very nice rounded profile and a nice cleavage, it’s very soft and comfortable and I really like this low center gore.

Wires were a bit narrow for me, got some side stabbing and center falling and I usually wear a plunge style. Band was comfortable, could easily wear it on the smallest hook and it was not as snug as I would ideally prefer.

This bra would be a prefect fit if it was a band size larger and a two cup sizes larger. So a 65GG. The band is very tight for even a 60(28) band it is prefect for someone who needs a 26 band or a tight 28. The material has a slight sheen.
