The 80HH currently fits me much better than the J as I hope you can see from the pics. I am not sure what will happen to it over time with washing and wearing but I will update this post if necessary.
Two other things to be aware of with this ...bra are that (1) the straps are completely unstretchy in the area that sits on your shoulder, meaning that they can get a bit painful after hours and hours of wear; and (2) the band is pretty firm in this style. I have found I've needed to go to a 75 or even 70 with the vast majority of my other Ewa Michalaks but with this one 80 is absolutely spot on. Read more 73 more words
I love the look of this bra. When I saw this I had to get it, mainly because it looks so much like the fashion-bras available on the high street, which is pretty unusual at these sizes. However, it definitely runs small in the cup. As with my other PLs, I thought it was slightly too large in the cup, but it is in fact too small. I've had it for a while and thought it fits, but have realised that I've been wearing it with the straps completely loosened because it's so tall at the underarms. The underarms/straps dig in terribly, even moreso if I tighten as ...needed. I also get deceptive gapping at the top of the cup/strap, which made me think the bra was too big when it wasn't. I went into this issue more on my blog review.
The cups are 1-2 sizes small, which was hidden by me wearing with the straps loosened. This means the uplift I have from it is awful. Though it's a very rounded and fairly central due to the narrow wires, the apex is somewhat low and can look a bit saggy. Oddly, I found my PL Black and PL Carmen better for uplift, despite having the same size issues, so I don't know if it's partially due to the material used.
I found the sizing similar to my PL Black, so I'll repeat the same: I usually wear a 30JJ in most bras, but I was told PLs run small and to size up, so this is a 30K. I thought it was too big, but as I said above, it's actually too small. I would likely need a 30KK/L, with alterations to the straps/armholes, for it to fit properly.
It is quite a firm 30. The wires are quite narrow, and it has four columns of three hooks-and-eyes, which are good as the bra stretches out. I've had this bra for about half a year now and it now stretches to about 31 inches, which is still firm enough for me on the second hooks. Read more 236 more words
So I have been losing weight and wanted to try a 70 band in Ewa. I was afraid it would be too tight but it is actually perfect on the loosest hook. This PL gives amazing cleavage. I need to wear it awhile to see if it is maybe one size too small in the cups. The material is amazing and I love the little details. The gore height is perfect for my close set breasts. The material is very comfortable also. It also gives great projection. If there is anything negative I could say is that the straps adjust just long enough for me. I am 5'7" and they are barely long enough. What a beautiful bra. Ewa continues to amaze me!!!
Another bra that has been amazing to own, but hasn't had enough wear, for a long time I worked somewhere where I needed to be in a less in your face bra as this so it wasn't worn a lot and then when I could wear it low and behold it didn't fit right =[. My favourite bra ever! The print and colour way is something I love, and it gives me the same shape and cleavage as my beloved decos.
I bought this as a pregnancy/transition bra. When I bought it from another lady I was rapidly growing and having changes. Sense then I have stabilized into about a 28JJ/30J in Freya. So this is currently a cup large and will be a band size large (once my ribcage goes down post baby). So sadly it will not work for me as a pregnancy or transition bra. I've ordered a 28JJ PL Lilia to try next.
Because it does not work I cannot comment on wear, fabric, etc. One thing I found odd was the fabric under the arm between the wire and where the strap joins the cups. It has elastic or something similar which completely alters the fit of the cups for me.
