    Didn't fit

This is a gorgeous bra. I need to put a pad in the right side to correct assimitry. The wire on the right side also digs in under my arm for some unknown reason. I feel I want more cup coverage tho. The band is too tight and I am using an extender. I still haven't found my perfect bra. I think my Anna Pardal has a smaller underwire? Will continue to try other brands and styles.

    • Are you looking for just a hair more coverage but overall still a similar style, or really a lot more coverage? This brand and style are definitely meant to be very low-cut, so if you just want more containment you will need to switch to another design--but if you just want better coverage and comfort in a similar style I think you'd get a fit going just 1 or 2 cups larger.

    • I am looking for more coverage in general but since I am very full on the bottom and uneven I need a bra that is not molded cause I get gaping on my small side. I don't like straps that end up at my armpit either. I guess I am way too fussy about the fit and feel of the bras I wear. I just think I should be able to find a style and fit that is comfortable all day and looks good and gives lift.

    • You're not fussy at all! Frankly I think for comfort those are most people's preferences. Some also want acres of cleavage but if that's not a factor, who wants a painful or unsupportive bra, right?

For narrow-set straps you will want to look for full cup bras, mostly. That is definitely going to be very full coverage but they can still be pretty! I am not too far from your size range and currently I am enjoying Chantelle's Rive Gauche and Fantasie Jacqueline.

The fit is great. I think this is the best fit style for my breast from Ewa Michalak. The color is just gorgeous. I don't think I could do a better color combo than this https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Didn't fit

Ewa Michalak only makes my proper band size as a custom order so I purchased this bra one band size up with the intention of altering it. This is the first bra I’ve purchased from Ewa Michalak and I struggled to figure out exactly what size to order. I think I would have had more success with this bra if I had purchased it in a 70J and then shortened the band or probably a 65JJ if I custom ordered it.

This bra is very beautiful and I’d love to buy it in another size, but it just doesn’t fit me correctly enough to justify trying to alter more ... than the band with my limited sewing ability. The underwires are a bit too wide (though they are much better than the rest of the brands I’ve tried so far!), the band is of course too big (which is obviously my fault) and the shoulder straps are a bit too far apart which makes it sit funny on me (I think this is what is causing the gaping in the photos). Still though, It’s definitely a high quality bra and would fit someone else very well!

    • So, I have 2 EM bras, a 70HH BM and a 70J S. The HH is a bit small in the cups, and the J is small in the band (super tight cloth, I guess, tho even unstretched, its smaller) . I usually wear a 32J in Panache (floris and envy). I see that this stretches almost to 32 inches, which sounds like my size, but JJ is likely too big - do you know your size in either Floris or Envy?

    • dbmamaz I have only tried 4 bras from Panache, and unfortunately neither Floris nor Envy, sorry. I have Panache Bella (30J), Melody (30J), Delilah (30J), and Jasmine (30JJ). I'm planning on reviewing and listing them soon.

The underwire on the Jasmine ends in the middle of my armpit and dug into them so badly it's a torture to wear. The underwire also rubs somewhere in between my boobs as well, but I'm too afraid to even bother trying it to find out right now haha. I have very closed-set breasts and I remember the underwire was way too high. This was a problem with all 4 Panache bras to varying degrees. Panache doesn't have much of a selection of Plunge bras in large cup sizes so I opted for buying whatever I could get in my size.

The Bella is the most tolerable of all of them. The gore is a little wide and high and the underwire ends almost at my back but with some bending of the underwires it is fairly comfortable to wear. :P Before I bent the underwires it was impossible to wear.

If you like, I can take a look for where I left my Melody and Delilah today and let you know why they were a bad fit. I don't think Panache is for me, as the underwires seem to consistently be just way too wide for me. Unfortunately I ordered all 4 at once online and shipping was too expensive to justify returning them. :P

I uploaded two photos of the EM bra and two of me wearing it, which I'm told will be added in about an hour. Now that I've thought about it a little more, I think the straps being too wide are actually the main reason the rest of the bra doesn't fit (other than the band size and underwire width, which I mentioned in my review). There's extra space at the top that completely goes away if I pull the fabric to where I'd expect the straps to be.

    • Thanks - so, is this band too big for you? The cups clearly look big - to wide and then empty space near the center. I really think I'm a J in EM, but I hear sometimes the padded ones fit differently. I'm still afraid I'd fall out of the PL tho. I really LIKE high gores. My boobs almost touch, but if you push them apart, they dont complain. Its like the skin at the center lets the boob flesh seep under it, but it doesnt really belong there? and without a high gore, I just fall out - very soft and center-heavy.

    • dbmamaz So I double checked and the band is indeed too big for me. I didn't measure the extra space but I think I could stuff my hand in there if I tried as the band is fairly stretchy.

Also just for clarity's sake, in the photos I'm wearing the bra with the included removable pads. I wouldn't normally wear them but as the bra is already a bit too big I didn't think at the time that it would make a difference.

I think the gore gets higher up as you go to a larger cup size (this bra included), which is disappointing for me but I guess great for you!

Are there some other pictures I can take for you that will help you ascertain the gore height and fit a little better before I sell it? Unless if plans change, I'm hoping to exchange it for the EM PL Laguna in 65JJ on Friday.

    • I appreciate it but dont worry, I'm not really ready to buy another bra anyways, just kinda trying to get a feel for it all. thanks

  4. After several attempts of making EM's PL bras work for me, I think this one is as good as it gets.

As mentioned in earlier reviews, the band is definitely quite stretchy in this. Not as stretchy as my 70HH - Ewa Michalak » S Siódme Niebo , in that I need to size down in the band, but definitely not on par with other EM PLs, which I've found to run the most tight.

    Pros:

    - uplifted shape
    - projection like whoa
    - comfy, but firm wires (as great as S model bras fit on me, the wires can be painful on the rib-cage by end of ... day)
    - probably as close to cleavage as is possible for my soft tissue
    - b-e-a-utiful teal color on this baby
    - no straps or wires threatening my armpits at all

    Cons:

    - boobs don't feel super secure and locked in, so I continually check to make sure I'm contained in the boob holder
    - cups fold out a bit, which distorts shape (remedied with a tight tank top/cami to smooth things out, which I always wear under clothes anyway)
    - gaping on smaller side

I'm not very familiar with PL styles, so I'm unsure if I should consider this my PL size. The most recent PL I tried was 75HH - Ewa Michalak » Pl Słowianki (506) , and the band was too tight and my boobs leapt from it after 15 min of wear. So either fit has improved, or this one is an anomaly (or maybe some combo of both?).

I think if I get used to the feeling such a low gore provides, I will get a lot of use with this. I've found it fits best after a couple hours of wear when my girls settle properly into the cups.

  5. I got my first Ewa Michalak!! Unfortunately, it is a little too big in the cups for me on most days. However, onto the pros! This bra is so soft and well made, with a few different but equally soft materials used in its construction. The cups are made on the outside of a teal blue material (not exactly sure the fabric name) covered by a floral black lace which is not overly textured nor itchy. The inner cups are a soft, thin jersey material which include 'slots' for cookies. The band is made of *super* soft stretch mesh. The band is ... also quite stretchy, and is a very accurate 65 (30) band, which is apparently hard to find (a true to band size EM). Otherwise, the gore tacks and the straps are fully adjustable. The cups are also quite closed in on top, but I assume if it had been sized down a cup or if I had the boobs to fill it out, it would expand outward to accommodate more tissue on top. Oh, if only this bra had fit better in the cups! I will definitely be looking to get my hands on another Ewa in the future!

I will no longer do business directly with EM because their customer service is patently awful. However, I will buy them used, which is how I got this hott number.
There's some serious vavoom with this bra and it is stunning. It fits like a 32/34 band so it fits great now (2nd hooks), but EMs do stretch pretty quickly so I'll be stalking it in a 70HH.
The straps aren't as wide-set as my other EMs, which is a great thing, but I found the wires to be wider than my others. That's not terrible, because it's still very comfortable and provides fab lift/support, but I prefer the more narrow ones.
The lace on the cups is not good under tight/thin clothing - but who cares?!
Update 12/2018: Recently resurrected from the too-small stash and I still love it (again) in my current roughly 32H/HH UK size.

This is a pretty bra, and I love how low the gore is. It does provide cleavage for low-cut tops, but I prefer the CH, CHP, or S styles. The PL squishes my breasts together oddly, and it's just not as comfortable as the other styles. I would also prefer a 60 band if it available.

A friend shared her Ewa Michalak stash https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Although I wore this for just a few minutes, angels sang. This bra helped me understand gore height and width determine much of my comfort level. The low gore, stretchy band, and adequate cup width created a very hospitable environment. My very short rooted tissue did not experience oceans of open space near the strap: the bra beautifully accommodates shorter roots. Additionally, I did not feel compressed near the wire which indicates the immediate projection is better than most. I won't chase my daughter around the house or practice yoga in this, but for most other activities it will be my first choice. Since this trial, I have ordered two 65G Ewa Michalak. I'm optimistic they will be as comfortable.https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
