    Used to fit

I normally wear a UK 28F, and the sizing calculator on the EM site gave me 65DD. This was, for the most part, accurate, or for this unlined half-cup style, at least. Your EM size will vary depending on the cut, whether it's padded or unpadded, materials, etc.

The band's absolute max stretch is 30", but this is when I'm pulling very hard and seems like I'm hurting the bra. I would recommend this for someone who measures at least 28.5" at the tightest--I had to wear it on the tightest or second tightest hooks, as I measure about 27" snugly.

The fit is a little off because of ... incompatible shape. This half-cup was just slightly too tall for my breasts (I have a short torso), so the lace edge floated a bit. Underneath the lace section, I got slight quadboob because the bra wants softer, less full-on-bottom breasts than mine.

I think it would fit great on someone who was even and maybe fuller-on-top, with softer boobs. The half-cups really give the breasts a round shape, and push them upwards and hold them close to the chest.

Four rows of two hooks instead of the usual three rows.

    Me: empty, soft, short root

I custom ordered this bra in the HM (half-cup style) along with several others.

This one doesn't quite work for me (vs the Trefl and Bezyk) because the lace of the cups is not as stiff and isn't supportive enough for my very soft breasts. It doesn't look bad, per se, but it's not perfect. For someone with firmer breasts and a taller root, I think this would be amazing.

The HM is a very secure style because of the high gore (which is quite narrow for a balconette IMO). It gives a round "apples" look.

The band is quite firm and I would size up if I were to order another one. The cup volume is good however. It's been my experience that most people wear 1 size smaller in the unpadded styles.
