How happy I am to finally own a nude-to-me, neutral colored CHP! I already own and love the SM Summer Time, so as soon as I got the email that this one was available through Braobsessed, I jumped at the chance to try it in my favorite half cup style! All in all, it took about two months to arrive to me from the day that I ordered... I waited for it so excitedly in the interim!
The floral embroidery somewhat diminishes the practicality of this bra (it's definitely not seamless beneath lightweight shirts). However, it's absolutely gorgeous in a muted, vintage-y kind of way... creme and apricot-colored ...blooms with pale green leafy vines entwining down the cups over the vertical seams. Being quite pale (and more so now at the end of winter!) ideally I wish the overall color scheme would've been more cool-toned, like the Burek, but for girls with an olive complexion, these tan colors would be absolutely divine and so so beautiful! The cups themselves are a lighter beige color, with the straps and band being a darker, more caramel one. The only aspect of the design that somewhat disappoints me is the center gore bow... on Ewa's original stock photos from 2014 (here: http://www.ewa-michalak.pl/eng_pm_Biustonosz-CHP-Summer-Time--553_2.jpg) it looks like there's one of those gigantic, satiny bows she uses on many of her bras that make your boobs look to be wrapped like a present I love those! But, the one on my bra is quite small and sad. I have a feeling I'll be alone in this opinion though... I have very impractical taste when it comes to bra decoration and know others may definitely prefer the simplicity!
In all other respects, I feel like the fit is true to size for a 65FF CHP: narrow wires, firm band, a beautiful round shape but annoyingly wide-set straps. Happily, though, they are sturdier and much less stretchy than the ones on the recent CH Cherry. The matching thong is soft, comfortable and not too high-rise, as Polish underwear can sometimes be.
Update: this size is now too small and I've replaced it with a 65G as I love this bra so much. Read more 264 more words
I've loved the Summer Time ever since I first laid eyes on it, but I missed out on the lovely unlined style. I also missed out the first time Jaimie from Bra Obsessed was offering a limited run, and when she offered it one more time, I knew that it was no coincidence and I needed to get on it. I ordered this originally in an S style but Jaimie was totally cool when I changed my mind at the last minute and luckily had this last CHP in stock. Yay. It's absolutely gorgeous and I'm so glad I finally jumped on it. There are a few loose ...threads, but nothing major. The band doesn't have the checked fabric on it like other models did and the bow is different. The band is so silky soft and strong feeling and just luxurious. Band stretches to about 29.5 and is very comfy. The straps are a little stretchy and difficult to adjust but I'm glad they're a little thinner than my other CHP in the same size. This is the first CHP style with pads, and they're SO difficult to put it/take out. Not sure why the hole for them has to be on the inside and smaller than they are. That's my biggest complaint. It fits fine with the pads, the right, more difficult side, gaps a little without them but it's still wearable. The width is perfect and the wires aren't too long and don't poke. The wings don't peak out from lower cut shirts. Very nice immediate projection and a lovely shape. The lace is only attached to the cups at the seams and I can poke my finger between the lace and foam. The lace does show under tighter shirts but it's so pretty I don't mind. The colour is a nice complement to my olive skin and it almost looks like there's no foam at all.The shape is, as expected, very round, uplifted and perfect. I ordered the thong in a 40 but received the brief instead. I emailed Jaimie about it but the brief is very soft, pretty and true to size. I accidentally ordered a size too big but it runs tight I'd say. All in all, I love this bra sooo much and I'm so glad I finally got the chance to own a Summer Time. I'd still love to try the unlined style if I can ever get my hands on one.
Edit: I wore this bra out. I was so wrong. I don't know if it's my period or what but the wings/wires harass my poor armpits. Nothing too major, just enough to be a little irritating. Won't stop me from wearing it though.
Edit: No further problems. No more armpit harassment, I assume it's from my period but since it hasn't happened since I'm not sure. Also, Jaimie has agreed to send me the thong and let me keep the brief since it was her mistake: she wrote down figi instead of stringi. I offered to send it back but she was very gracious and said that was not necessary. This is why I like working with Jaimie because her customer service is exemplary. Read more 429 more words
My experience with Ewa bras is that they run a bit tight on the band so I find that 65 (30... src="https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> bands fit me very comfortably even though I could fit into 28s. This one bra stretches up to 28" (for my snug ribcage of 27").
I’ve added this bra back into the database per the request of one of our members, so that she could see the alteration photos for it.
For the specs on the original bra. I bought it used, so I cannot guarantee that the measurements are a true reflection of this style at this size.
The band measured 25.5” to a max stretch of 37.8”, and had 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.
The cup height was 8” with a width of 6.5”. The depth measured 12.5” flat (measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure in it without any ...resistance) to a max of 13.75” stretched over the knee.
The gore was 4.5” tall and 0.63” wide.
For the details of the failed alteration attempt (aka my Frankenbra) please see the adventure post:
After the “Frankenbra” post, I ended up removing the cups altogether & attempted to add 4 way stretch black tulle to the cups and cover it with purple stretch lace. It was also an epic fail, so I accepted defeat & laid this one to rest. I did not end up finishing that attempt, and unfortunately did not take photos of it either (or if I did, I didn’t save them as I can’t find them on my computer.) If I come across any, I will add them as well. ☺
I was so looking forward to getting this bra, but unfortunately it just seems to be a shape mis-match for me. I get some gaping at the top of the cup, but I feel like if I went down a size it would be much too small. Also, due to the shape of the cups and where the straps are supported, I get an odd flattness on the upper quarter of the cup--it seems that the weight of my breasts pulls on the cup to create this, but I'm not really sure. I didn't have this issue with the other CHP I tried, so I'm not really sure if its just this specific style or what. The bra itself is beautiful, however.
This bra is seriously stunning. I'm completely infatuated with it. I love the shiny floral embroidery, and how delicate it looks. The detailing shows up under tops, but seriously who cares just LOOK at this bra! The beige works really well as a nude on my medium olive skintone. This CHP is tighter than the Klaudyna. The cups are also larger. This all works in my favor and I can now see that the Klaudyna definitely was a lower coverage CHP. The bra fits me best without the pads in as there is bubbling with them. I'm probably going to try my next CHP in a 60FF. I want to get the matching panty soon because this bra is so gorgeous that nothing else looks good enough with it. Like other panties just aren't worthy
This 70FF - » Chp Summer Time (553)Ewa Michalak is one of the bras I ordered when doing my first direct order from Ewa Michalak. I had gotten several others from other users while determining my size. The first was a 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Chp Famme Fatale (468). The fit on that one was great, but I filled it out so perfectly that I couldn't wear the inserts for extra oomph. I looked at several other models and decided that the 70FF should work, and it does. I have posted pictures both with and ...without the inserts to show the difference. I really do love the narrow wires, firm bands and nothing poking me! Most UK and US brands I have tried leave me with wire under my arms. And since I am close set and upfront this brand works very well for me! I will definitely order from them again!
***I had uploaded a side view with inserts and side view withOUT inserts and then front view with inserts and front view withOUT inserts but I think the moderators thought they were duplicates so they rejected one of each. So now the side view is withOUT inserts and the front view is with inserts. Sorry about that, it doesn't make it as easy to see the difference of using the inserts or not but maybe you get the idea.
