My first acqusition from another bratabase user - it was a smooth transaction (thank you, K). The Miedziak is truly beautiful - the colour is deep red wine colour, the fabric is soft and holds shape well. The cups are lined in cotton and have removable "cookie" to adjust for asymmetry. The lace is soft and not scratchy at all (unlike some of my other even very expensive bras) and very tasteful. Unfortunately, I don't seem to fill the cups quite enough and have a slight amount of empty space on the sides. Shockingly, even so, the lift is amazing and the bra gives me a nice rounded shape ...- the lift and the roundness of the shape is the best I have ever experienced. The band is firm, but I don't find it tight like si many other women report, and it "gives" a bit, which actually makes it very comfortable. The straps are not fully adjustable, but I have not found that to be an issue on my lower set bust. The wires are narrower than some other brands, but I found them to be wider than Avocado and narrower than Empreinte or Prima Donna. Overall, beautiful bra that I was truly hoping would work for me (so much so that I actually ordered a high brief in size 14 from EM to have a set = size L in US/Canada). However, I think I probably will list this bra for sale as I think I can order a replacement in a cup size smaller and get a perfect fit. Read more 152 more words
This bra is the usual EM CHP cut and fit - very projected and open on top. The colour is a lovely plum shade and I like the detailing on the wing. The materials are good quality. For me, this is not a great fit due to the wires being too hard and too tall.
Miedziak was on my wish list since the first preview and I almost missed it but happily someone sent back my size to the shop. It’s by far one of the most beautiful EM bras ever, definitely worth of its price, an excellent finish and materials, seems to be more solid than other EM bras I have. I like everything in this bra: - Thick and comfortable straps, - The band is firm but not as in other models from the same collection (ex. Pompadour) - The wires are not very flexible but they don’t poke into the sternum or under the armpits - The padding is of a great quality, it’s not really thicker than usual but ...seems more solid and thereby more supportive, it doesn’t “break” like in other EM bras (ex. Ewa Michalak Hp Kobalt (300) ) - I really like the shape it gives, it seems to be more supportive and it’s very comfortable, I’ve already tested it during a whole day. The first previews of this bra showed the model without the seams on the cups and the straps. Personally, I prefer the final version of the bra, it reminds me of Masquerade Rhea (6121) Read more 84 more words
I was so looking forward to this bra and I'm a little disappointed now that I have it. First the bad: The cups have a zigzag stitching pattern that is quite noticeable under my shirts. I don't know if it will eventually soften up with wear. The CHP Gazeta has the same stitching pattern but it is much less noticeable.
The straps really bug me. They're incredibly wide and thick, and just look cheap. They're also only partly adjustable. This is a problem for me with my short torso.
The good: The color of the bra is lovely and the material is a very soft, smooth satiny fabric. The flowers and embroidery along the cups give the bra a simple, yet classic look.
The fit seems comparable to other CHPs. If it weren't for the awful straps this would be one of my favorite bras.
Gorgeous bra, but a cup size too big for me sadly. Wires are nice and strong. Very upfront, round, typical Ewa shape. Has removable padding. Straps are half-adjustable. Band is consistent with my other 75 bands from Ewa (CHP Mak and Fiolek). Looks a bit purple in my photos, is actually more burgundy.
