Certainly the most brilliant bra design that came out in 2013 (Eveden designers, take note!!). Ewa definitely hit the style bullseye with this one. Pros: - the look of this bra is pure WOW!! - bandsize runs true - excellent lift, good support
Cons: - feels scratchy around the edge of the cup - the seams over the underwires are unusually thick => uncomfortable if you need to bend over for longer times - runs big in the cup - as with all CHPs, the style is wide => if you have a narrow frame, this might not work for you
This was my first CHP bra. The wires come up farther in my armpits than the CH style does, so it digs in a little. I wish the straps were a little wider as they are slightly uncomfortable. The cups don't bring me as front and center as the S and CH styles do so I have a very slight east-west look, but it is hardly noticeable. The cups on this bra may run slightly big.
Really lovely bra, but it didn't fit as expected. It's very tight for a 65 band - fitting more like a tight 28 or 26, which works for me as that's what I measure. However, I ordered a cup size down after this one and it came with a much larger band, fitting more like a loose 28 or tight 30. Typical Ewa inconsistency! The cups are too big for me (admittedly I typically wear a 60G in the CHP style) and feel too tall so there is a lot of space at the top. The straps are also placed too wide for me and rub as a result. The wire width is good and the strap attachment to the cup is a nice unusual touch, although I'm not sure how durable it would be. The look and quality of the bra are both excellent.
I love what this bra looks like, unfortunately the cups are wayyy too big on me. I have the pl milady and pl onyx in 60GG but the cups on this one and the charlie are much bigger. I will be ordering another in a smaller cup size.
This is a beautiful and well-constructed bra, but it is definitely the wrong size for me, and possibly the wrong style. Others have said that this bra runs tight in the band, but I did not find it to be so. I can stretch it to 32" easily. My underbust measures 29.5-30" comfortably snug, and this band was far too lose - I could easily fasten it on the tightest hook. I also did not find this bra to run small in the cup. I need a 30GG, bordering on 30H, and this bra was at least one cup size too big. It is a lovely bra, though, with gorgeous detailing, and I'm very disappointed it didn't fit.
I took the warning on Ewa's website to heart regarding the band tightness and decided to get a 70. That was a good decision - the 70 band is very firm (only stretches out to 27.5" with quite a bit of tension). I would even go up another band size to a 75.
The bad decision came when I was choosing my cup size. I remeasured my leaning bust and was not particularly careful with it (Why? I don't know.) so I ended up with a new measurement that was 3 cm smaller than I had measured previously. ... I also ignored Ewa's advice on changing sizes and went solely by the measurements on the chart.
End result: cup is 1-2 sizes too small for me and can't really be reviewed on fit or shape. Whoops!
Anyway, as I said . . . the band is QUITE firm. I would order up one size (or even 2!) because otherwise, the shape of the cup becomes quite flattened when the band is pulled too tight.
I am sometimes a "more is more" kind of gal, and this bra really indulges that. The fabric is really unique - it has these sort of transparent, flat shiny dots on it. It has an oversized red bow. It has a cute loop detail on the straps. It has ribbon covered seams. It has lace AND ruffles. It has little red heart cut outs on the band and straps. And I sort of love the end result.
As an aside, the elastic is quite tight on the full briefs also (the thong is fine) so I would go up a size from your regular. Read more 191 more words
