The band size is perfect, but the cups are just barely too small for me. They cut in and cause a not so subtle quadboob effect. I think I could go up one cup size and have this bra fit perfectly.
I don't think the half cup style works so well for me though. This bra style gives great support, but I like a bit more coverage over the top.
I do love that this bra includes removable cookies in the bottom to correct asymmetry. I definitely need that (left is a little larger in the right), so I think I might try one or two cup sizes larger.
So far it's quite comfy, which is a plus. It's also quite pretty, which is also a plus. As for the fit-it's a bit small, but not too bad. It basically *just* fits, and I could probably wear it in a 65H just fine. I traded an ill-fitting PL Perelka for this bra, and it was a good choice. It's a bit worn, but has plenty of life left in it. Band is too big at this point, but I'll take it in as needed.
I'd say it's just a bit smaller than my other Ch (the Biszkopty) in the cup, but gives the same effect. In other words, ...my husband likes it.
The only thing I don't like about it are the thick straps. They're not fully thick, so it looks a little funny. I am not sure why EM chose to design the bra this way, but it doesn't detract from anything, it's just a bit silly.
Overall, I like it, but I don't love it. Nice color and I like the detail in between the cups.
Update 8/4: It's pretty worn, which I didn't realize when I traded for it. I really got the picture when the strap broke! That was unfortunate. I think it's fixable, but very irritating. Bah humbug. Read more 104 more words
This bra was extremely comfortable when I purchased it. The wide straps help distribute the load, and it was prettier than I expected. The option of removable pads is great for addressing breast size asymmetry. My only complaint is that it is rather thick and therefore takes a long time to dry after washing (even without pads).
My size in most brands is 34H, so this is one size up in the band.
Note: I am writing this review in January, 2013, several months after the bra was purchased. I have given my initial review and fitting comments based on my notes about the fit of ...the bra near the time of purchase. Since the bra was purchased, my breasts have grown and the bra no longer fits properly. Below are my comments on the current state of the bra:
The band on this bra has not stretched significantly while I have owned it; I can still wear it on the loosest hook. I wear it about once every 5 days. It is currently my second-favorite bra, after the CHP Kurczak. It was my favorite bra at the time of purchase.
Update (February 2013): I have now had to move to the third (of four) set of hooks, about 4.5 months after purchase with wearing it about twice a week and handwashing after every time it was worn. Read more 125 more words
This is really nice bra. Fantastic color, really. There are 4 rows of hooks. I've started on loosest, but it stretched out really quickly (after two wears!) Now I'm on tightest. The band is too big. Everyone said, that EM bras are too tight, etc. This is not true. Maybe older models, but now... I think it's like normal UK sizing. Don't believe in EM bra calculator! It recommended me size 85D (UK 38D), but size 80 is already big for me. Edit: The straps are too short for me. The "comfort" straps look good, but they end on the edge of my shoulders, the seam is really uncomfortable.
