Wow, I totally love this bra! More than the bra I'd been waiting for! I LOVE the rich chocolate of the lace AND the taupe-ish color of the trim. the cups fit like a dream! (yes, on the high coverage side, but I'm good with that!) Band is much firmer than the S Magique. Slightly loose on my smaller side, but I didnt even adjust the straps, so that might be correctable. This seems like one of my best yet, somehow!
MY SHAPE: Projected, center full, tall and narrow roots.
THE TAKEAWAY: Construction very similar to the 30G - Cleo » Hettie Balconnet Bra (9011)! The stretch lace panel on top makes this a forgiving bra, and I can almost get away with it in both a 65G (one cup size down) and a 75F (two cup sizes down). Good projection, handles my center-fullness admirably. Band is TTES (True To Ewa Size), stretching to ~31". If you mostly wear padded Ewa styles, you may need to size down in the cup for the BM. The stretch lace is good for my tall roots, but should accommodate both FOT ...and even-full breasts well.
DETAILS: In my review of the Cleo Hettie, I note that it (and the Marcie) square me off on the sides, lending to a somewhat odd torpedo shape looking down. For whatever reason, and despite what seems to be a very similar seaming construction, the BM does not do this; I get a very round shape from all angles. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the stretch lace covers the entire cup? Maybe the lace is molding me into a rounder shape? I guess we'll see, when I eventually try the SM.
I have so far tried three BM bras: 75F - Ewa Michalak » Bm Szmaragd (794), 65G - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Flamenco (808), and the Naomi. All three were beautiful, but I think the Naomi is a stand-out for me, with the way that the lace is only on the cups, the exposed band pleasantly-silken to the touch, and the choice to leave the stretch lace panel unlined, which creates a very elegant look on the skin. That said, do note that the Naomi is unlined: the seam on the inside of the cup is much more prominent against your skin than in the other two BMs, and I'm sure there are people for whom that would be a sensory issue.
I've read several reviews that call out the BM as having hard wires. I'm not the person to ask about that, because I've never actually met a bra with wires too hard for my comfort. The only time I've even really noticed wire hardness was when I used to (gulp) put bras on upside-down and backwards, then wiggle them around and yank them up. Doing that with some of my Panache bras caused a hilarious, audible SLAP as the gore viciously whipped into place. But even then, when I wore them, they weren't actually uncomfortable. I will say that the BM has the firmest tack I've experienced in an Ewa Michalak, but since I've probably worn most of her padded bras in the wrong size I'm not really sure that's not the reason.
Currently, the BM is my best-fitting bra. For many of the others, what I'm calling good is in practice a little small in the cups, or a little big in the band, or a little wide in the straps. The Naomi BM is none of these things, at least not for me. (The strap width is especially good in the too-small Flamenco, though, so that in itself might be a good reason to try more BMs in 65...) I bought this at the same time I bought a BM Bibi Bezowa and this seems like it is a size smaller, especially in the band. Band is very small for a 60. It feels comfortable on me with an 1 1/4 " extra with an extender. I am short rooted, very center full with touching breasts in a bra and need a lot of immediate projection. My breast are very dense and heavy, so aren't overly maleable.
Gores are always a problem for me. Anything taller than about 1 1/2 " will press on one breast. This may be a function of ...not have enough center projection. I'm just not quite sure on that. Since the depth of this cup is a little smaller than the Bibi Bezowa, the gore is pressing slightly more on one side. I'm definitely packed in a little tighter in this bra, but I'm not quad boobing at all. I don't think it is small enough to go one cup up. Wire width is good, I have no cup wrinkling at the side I wonder since this is all lace (lined at the bottom) if it is cut a little smaller for support?
The brown is not as chocolate brown as it looks on my screen. It is more of a pink toned brown and the lace is a stretch lace on the upper cup. Cute little light beige polka dotted bow at the center.
So far I've tried Ewa's S, Sm, and 2 seam half cups . None were as good as this cut for me.
I don't find the wires as firm as Cleos. I know some people find them firmer than Ewa's other styles. I can't really comment on that comparison since I've had so little experience with her other cuts. Read more 208 more words
Wires are too heavy for me Cups lower coverage than what I thought they would be. Not as round an appearance as I wanted. Different fit from the BM Tajemniczy Ozgród (probably due to the different fabrics)
Gorgeous bra. Pretty cocoa on the cups and the rest is a lovely color I would describe as fawn. This bra differs from the bm magnolia in that the entire cup is not lined. The upper portion of the cups is made of what seems to be a much more durable stretch lace. The profile seems to be less pointy than the bm magnolia which for me is a good thing. The band in the Naomi is stretchier, however.
This fits me technically technically fine (with the caveat that I need an extender to get one extra row of hooks). I love the fabric - the color, the feel, the little polka dot bow in the middle (and I'm kind of sick of bows!)
I feel like I'm not getting enough lift in this bra for my personal tastes. It's also giving me an ever so slightly pointy shape. I think a cup size down would be perfect. And, the straps are a little wide set (which is not a problem I run into with Ewa bras, another reason I'm thinking too big cup size).
This is my first attempt with a bigger cup size in the BM style. Based on the EM recommendation, I first bought 2 BMs in one cup size smaller than other cuts. It seemed to work in the beginning, but I soon realized the cups were actually too small and I don’t wear my BMs in 65E anymore. This is also my first attempt with the 70 band (along with the SM Triumf). I decided to go up in the band size because most of my 65s feel really tight these days (excepting Ja wiem, Syrena and Glamour) and I’m pretty happy I did so! The band in Naomi ...(and Triumf) feels really super comfy yet supportive, I think I’ll stick with the 70 bands for my future purchases. I was pretty sure the cups were going to fit as my 65Es show several symptoms of a too small cup – quadding and too narrow underwires. In reality, this bra has literally exceeded my expectations. Despite the cups being quite shallow, this is by far my best fitting unpadded bra. I’m literally in love in this cut and I want more! The underwires are perfect in this size, the cups are a little bit tall which is great for my soft tissue. It gives a great uplift, all my breast tissue is gathered to the centre and I even get some cleavage. I feel my boobs are very well supported and they stay put in the cups all day long. The fit is the same right after putting the bra on and at the end of a day. The shape is surprisingly rounder than I expected, even more than in the SM which gives quite a pointy shape on me (excepting Czarna Mgielka). The centre gore doesn’t tack perfectly but it doesn’t bother me. I think it’s due to the shallow cups. My only complaint is about the cup height under the armpits – it runs a little bit too high and I can feel it but it’s definitely not a deal breaker. Read more 232 more words
