Used to fit

Through my best friend, I got a pretty good understanding about bras and sizing and such probably a decade or more ago, but I got a much bigger understanding about bras, fits, characteristics, and Polish bras probably 4-5 years ago. At the time, I was measuring somewhere in the 30E/F UK range. At the time, my other friend that was teaching me about Polish bras sent me her 65F - Ewa Michalak » Mp Kleksik (609) to try and gage sizing despite being a discontinued style. This led me to my first Ewa Michalak bra from the listings (as I had to send my friend her ... bra back). About 3 years ago, I gained a little weight and I soon needed a cup size up and took a 65FF or 70F. Then I lost a lot of weight this year and I no longer fit them, so I figured that as I’m measuring about the same as I was before, I would give a 70E/65F a try again, as my 70E - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Black (1000) was fitting me better than when I bought it and was still a little larger (this one runs a bit bigger than most BMs).

So I was approached to do a trade with one of my listed sets, and I picked this set to do it with. Boy am I so pleased!!! I was nervous about the band being snugger, but was assured that it was a little relaxed from the initial measurements. And it’s not a lace band so I had hoped that it would not be too tight. And technically my snug under bust measurement is a little bit smaller now.

The band is still snug but I think it’s ok. I might have to ease into it like the 28G - Comexim » Onyks Non-padded Half Cup Underwire Bra (CMONYK. But I’m ok with that. Or even use an extender briefly. The cup width and depth seem to be perfect for me and I think the height is ok. The only bad thing about the fit is the typical wide Ewa straps. The extra bows on the straps were cut off by a previous owner and I am completely ok with that. I personally hate them.

The teal lace is just stunning, and while the pink accents are not my favourite, I think they do look good. The colours are kind of reminiscent of the Syrena bras. This bra is much better on me that the one I traded it for.

I think the fit is good. The matching bottoms are perfect too. I could probably have done a size smaller but this size fits me comfortably.

Just wanted to update my review a little bit now that I have worn it some...I did hold off on wearing the 3 new bra sets until I figured out how many sets or bras I had that fit (or mostly fit) for rotation purposes. I’d still like a few more that fit a bit better, but I decided to start wearing them. This one is a snugger band, as mentioned, but it’s completely doable for a full day at work. The only fit issue or concern that I have is that I gape a little bit at the strap and cup connection, though I think it’s more the functionally short roots from soft, pendulous, fob tissue. I suspect that a cup size down will be too small.

All in all, I really love this set!

  Thanks BraOdyssey !!! Yeah I’m not sure what makes it called Crazy either. I love it! It’s not too pointy, and it’s fairly rounded and lifted. This one looks way better on me than the one I traded. It’s much more me.

  Calluna yes, and I loved it! I only traded it because it was for a set, I had 2 green bras already, and I wanted to try an SF. I love the aesthetics of EMs green-to blue bras....so pretty!

Fits

My Shape: FOB, narrow shoulders and roots, soft tissue, projected
Appearance: You guys, this bra is so gorgeous. It's a really pretty, deep shade of forest green, with CRAZY hot pink details. (Hence the name!) The straps, the bow at the gore and on the tops of the straps, and the elastic around the armpits and bottom of the band are all hot pink. There's even a crinkly piece of elastic at each wing that is pink! It's really unique looking. The cups are made from allover stretch lace in the beautiful green shade, and are lined with a soft, thin black mesh. The clasp on the straps that ... allows it to be adjustable is even a matching green shade! I just love the contrast of the deep green with the BRIGHT pink.
Fit: This fits like a DREAM. I don't even need to move the straps over. Typical narrow Ewa wires, lots of projection, the stretch lace stays atop my breasts.
Overall, PERFECTION. I am in love!
(FYI: I bought this from Sam at Broad Lingerie. She recently opened an online store, but doesn't have Ewa bras listed. You just have to email her and she can get them for you! The cost is only a few US bucks more than if you order directly from Ewa. This one was a special order, so it took a while to get made and shipped from Poland. I think it was around 2 1/2 months, but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. I highly recommend working with Broad Lingerie!)

- I think this is the only one that has that crinkly elastic on the side of the cups. It makes a mark on me every single time. Still a great bra though :)

  Allover stretch lace? Mine only has the stretchy on the top half of the cups. The bottom half, which is lace covered, don't stretch. Does Ewa make the cups different in the different sizes, like how above a certain cup in SM is 2 seams while below only has one? That's definitely a worthy notation if it's the case!

  All that I have are allover stretchy lace, which is part of the reason I love them so much. SO comfy. (Well, all except the beige one, which is satin but with stretchy top) I have, so far (haha!) a Fluo, Kleks, and Crazy, and those three are all stretchy all over.

  Okay, I got a reply from Kaska at Ewa about the stretch lace cup cut off (& the 1 to 2 seam cup off on the SM style):
  
  "All BM bras have only top of the cups made of elastic lace, the bottom of the cup is sligltly reinforced with other fabric, but it is softer than in SF bras, so maybe this member of the Bratabase compared it to the SF cut.
  
  All SM bras with cups bigger than 70J/75HH/80H and so on have two vertical seams on the cups.

Fits

My shape is soft, narrow and short rooted, deflated, low set.

WOW, this bra is a perfect fit on me right now! I recently lost a few pounds and many of my bras were no longer fitting, including the 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Bm La Gloria (1173) that I have (and wanted SO badly). I love green-ish coloured lingerie for some reason, and I could never find one of the Ewa Michalak Bm Szmaragd (794) bras to buy off anyone. The colour of the Crazy is similar to the La Gloria, but more green (not as blueish/shimmery). I imagine it's right in the middle ... of a Szmaragd and La Gloria for colour. It still has a shimmer, just not as obvious. I'm not 100% on pink trim and bows, but I still love it, even though I prefer the aesthetics of the La Gloria more. Oh well. When I listed my La Gloria, I couldn't find one in 65F, so I opted to try this one instead, and I'm not dissapointed.

The bra is in great shape and it came as a set with a brief and thong in size 38. I wasn't sure if the 38 was going to be too small, as my hips are 38.5". According to EMs chart, I need a 40. I'm very pleased to say that they both fit great! This is my first full set I've ever had in lingerie (usually I buy a bra in one place and then try and find a matching thong as La Senza or something). It's so nice to have a matching set with two options for bottoms. No regrets on buying this set!

The quality is amazing, as expected. The straps adjust long enough for my tall/low set frame, and they are comfortable. The band is a sub-30", which I need now that my ribcage has shrunk, and it feels supportive. There are 4X2 sets of hooks. The cups are fairly rounded considering that my shape is naturally a bit pointed in a lot of soft cups. I think the shape looks quite nice under a shirt. The inside of the cups has a lining that extends all the way to the top of the cups (apparantly some don't, as I recently learned).

Overall excellent quality, excellent appearance, excellent comfort and I'm so glad to have a BM that fits me again.. even more excited that it's a set I can show off on date night!

- Thanks Calluna .Yeah, I finally gave up on the Szmaragd when I got my La Gloria because it's been out of stock for too long now. Malachit, La Gloria, and Crazy are all good 'replacements' though. And yes, I always go to La senza for matching bottoms. I can usually find a good variety of colours.

BM Crazy in 60K
My first thought when receiving Crazy is that the Teal is darker than the stock photos showed; while the pink is lighter/brighter (less “Hot” Pink more neon pink.) The lining on the inside of the cups and band is black, which adds to the darkening effect of the teal I believe.

While this teal is still pretty, I don’t like it quite as much with this pink as I thought I would from the stock photos. Keep in mind that I am not a fan of the color pink in general (though I keep buying bras with pink on them haha) so if this color ... combination works for you that’s great. ☺ Honestly, I only got this one because I was tired of waiting for La Gloria to come out, and I really liked the teal color.

The cup construction is the typical BM style, with 2 lower vertical sections (1 seam) and 1 upper horizontal section, with a wedge area that connects the straps to the cups securely. The upper horizontal section is always made of a stretch lace, and this particular model has the upper lace section lined as well, which can vary by model. This lining doesn’t provide bulk, just modesty so you can’t see the nipples through the bra but does not stop them from showing through a shirt when browsing the freezer section at the supermarket. The BM style bra is not padded and provides full and separated coverage.

The band on this one measures 21.75” & stretches to 29.75”. It has 3 hooks with 4 rows of eye loops, which is the standard for this size range.

The cup height is 9.25” and the width is 6.25”. The depth (measured by hovering the cups between the knees and placing a tape measure inside the cup without any resistance) was 12.25” and stretches over the knee to a max of 15”. The gore is 4.15” tall and .6” wide.

This one is big in the band, but fits nicely in the cups, except as I’ve come to realize that like most of my bras, it does not tack. With some experimenting lately, I’ve found the 60KK BM fits similar to the 60K, but with a bit more coverage and a slightly better tack, so to get a better fit, I’d need to get this one in 60KK. I think I will hold off with this one and just buy La Gloria in 60KK instead when it comes out. ☺

Fits

I love green bras and I’m still very sad I couldn’t get the Szmaragd in proper size as the 65E is too small now (but I’m not able to get rid of it neither). So every time Ewa releases a green bra my eyes light up.
The fit was no surprise to me as BM is by far my favourite EM cut, a safe bet that never disappoints when it comes to the fit and comfort. Some BM bras offer more lift and stability like Naomi, some give more natural shape like Apricot. The BM Crazy belongs to the first group, even though the bottom of the cup isn’t as shallow as in Naomi. The BM cut affords an even better support than any padded bra, I can run and everything stays in place.
The straps are 1.5cm large and quite thick which makes them comfy. The band runs true to size, it’s stable and comfy.

Didn't fit

I always used to get a very lopsided look with the BM. Crazy was no exception. It's not nearly as noticeably as some, but it bugged me enough to return it. It looked funny, and it felt funny since the one strap felt like it was constantly digging into my shoulder to try and compensate for the lack of support.
