Fit: Similar to Sculptresse Chi-chi Full Cup Bra (7695) but narrow and just as soft. The wires are so narrow. They rest on the edge or maybe just on my breast tissue, but they are a little flexible so they don't pinch. The shape is round but pushed out so my breast tissue isn't squished into a ball. The lace stretches and the base doesn't much. I have in cup quadding and probably one size up would fit best but they do not make that size in the BM. The gore is fairly low so the touching part of my breasts ...don't push it out much. My breasts do push the cup down at the bottom but instead of the wire coming out of my IMF, they hang slightly over the wire. I don't mind this as it is their natural shape and I still get plenty of lift. There is a slight feeling though that the wires are struggling to hold the weight up, especially when I don't sit up straight, and I feel the bra slightly collapsing. There are 4 rows of three hooks and eyes so the band is quite adjustable.
Comfort: Everything is very soft, from the lace on the top to the mesh of the band. Nothing digs or cuts in. This is probably my most comfortable bra.
Style: The lace is nice. It's a very acceptable beige bra. The color is just right for my skin, very light and shiny.
I almost kept this bra for my smaller days, but when I tried it on one last time when I slouched or bent over the wires at the sides of the cup would bend out with the weight of my breasts, causing them to jab me in my arm. I'm so sad other bra companies don't use these narrow wires for their larger sizes, besides, to some extent, Curvy Kate. Read more 221 more words
This is my first unlined EM bra, and I have to say I really like it! The band runs pretty tight for a 32, but as I'm in between 30 and 32 it works really well for me. I may wear it with an extender just to break it in, but it's not too bad. The cups fit like a dream and are very comfortable. Soft, satiny material with a very soft stretch lace on top, very forgiving for shape, IMO. The EM website said this cut was perfect for people with soft breasts, and I'd have to agree - mine seem very happy in this material. I ...don't think it's as full coverage as one might expect from this cut, and it feels nice and conservative without being matronly or too boring. I needed a good summer nude and this fits the bill perfectly.
The wings are high, but comfortable for me; they don't seem to cut into any pudge too badly. The wire channels are very close at the top, sort of overlapping at the gore, which I love, but I've pushed the wires down in their channels a bit just so they reach the ends up in the wings (things are more comfy for me this way, with my annoyingly prominent ToS). The gore tacks VERY firmly on me, so that may get bent a bit to make it more comfortable, but it's nice and low as well; I tend to get closer set towards the top, so any higher and it would be sitting on breast tissue.
Little bows as adornments, as usual, but there's a little pearl dangly charm at the gore as well. Nothing too fancy, but it's better than just a plain bow. Nothing else other than the scalloped edging and the lace, but I don't think it's too boring. The shiny fabric makes it feel more luxe than it would otherwise be, I think.
I'm still getting used to wearing wires after many years of ill-fitting Barely There bras and a stubborn belief that I was very flat-chested, so most of the time I'm still hyper aware of my bras (the tighter bands, the wires themselves, etc), and it's hard for me to forget I'm wearing one, but there were definitely times with this one that I could forget about it. I'd like to try the SM cut as well, but right now I'm very impressed with the BM even though I'm toward the bottom of the size range it comes in. Read more 310 more words
So I'm still torn between 80DD and 80E. This one is stretchier fabric than the lace ones, which cut into my breast at the horizontal seam in a DD, but have slight wrinkling at the upper cup in an E. After putting back on about 8 lbs I've loosened it to the loosest hook when I was in the second, because it was digging in slightly under the cups. I probably need a hook I between the two but cant have everything! It's a nice nude color for light shirts and the lace isnt super obvious under clothes so it's a good workhorse nude bra for me. The straps don't slip, it's mostly comfy and I'm not adjusting it all day.
Beautiful "peaches and cream" nude color. Great for pale skin and for wearing under light colored fabrics. Material is soft to the body. Band doesn't offer as much stretch as @Ewa Michalak bras in black do. Perfect for narrow rooted breasts with projection. Would definitely repurchase but in size 60HH as the band is too big.
I bought this bra from Broad Lingerie in Toronto, ON. They do carry this style regularly, but normally starting from a higher band size. This size was a special order for someone else, and it didn't end up working out for them, so I lucked out! I had been wanting an unlined, "nude" bra for myself, and originally I was hesitant because of the stretch lace upper section, but it's actually quite unnoticeable under 98% of my shirts. The bra is made up of a shiny knit fabric for all the sections except the upper, which is made out of a floral stretch lace. The stretch lace is amazingly ...soft and conforms to any sort of size fluctuations. I think my breasts have recently been a little bigger than usual, so I'm almost on the cusp of having to size up for my polish bras (from 55G/60FF to 55GG/60G in the unlined styles, and up one more cup for the padded styles). I've actually been getting a little bit of in-cup quadding in this bra because of the difference in materials (the stiffer knit fabric vs. the stretch lace), but it hasn't bothered me too much yet. Hopefully I don't grow anymore or it would become a problem. The band has four columns of hooks, which is awesome, and I fluctuate between the first and third sets of hooks depending on whether it's been washed recently, whether I'm a little bloated from my period, etc. The gore tacks and is short and really comfy. The cups are really comfy and I don't know how the heck they do it but this bra gives me the most rounded, uplifted shape ever. The cups have really good apex depth and also pretty good immediate depth at the wire. The straps are set slightly wide, but I deal with it fine enough. It's not ideal, but it's also not a deal breaker for me. The straps don't bother my armpits at all. The straps are smooth and have average stretchiness (not like my crazy-stretchy SM Summertime straps...).
Overall, great bra, and great experience at Broad Lingerie! Read more 243 more words
I am evenly round in shape with a touch of FOB and I am fairly wide set - I have yet to encounter a gore too wide for me. I also have narrow shoulders, very soft tissue, and narrow roots.
I love this bra but the straps are just too wide set for my narrow shoulders. Plus, I'm between band sizes and this is the larger so it only fits on the tightest hooks. I love the materials, especially for the price. The straps are also as extended as far as possible and I am only 5'7". The lace covers my assymetry ...very well and the shape is very round with just a hint of pointiness. I tried the sister size down 65GG, but the wires were ever so slightly too narrow for me so I got poked. With soft tissue, this was agony. I had a 65H made for me, but the cups are too big - possibly alterable - and somehow the straps are wider than the 65GG. I will enter the 65H next with full measurements.
Alas, the quest goes on for a soft cup bra that fits and feels comfortable, yet gives a rounder shape and doesn't cover every inch of skin! Read more 110 more words
This bra is a beautiful and elegant neutral that fits similarly to my other Ewa BM, 60GG - Ewa Michalak » Bm Magnolia (693) . It provides full coverage support, but still looks pretty due to the lace and shiny fabric. Like all my Ewas, the straps are wider and wings higher than I'd prefer, but the narrow, well fitting cups make up for it.
When I got married four years ago, I wore the SADDEST (yes, it was so sad that it warrants capital letters) strapless bra. I really only needed a bit of extra padding on top because my dress was a little too big (should've had it taken in more). There was no Deco to be found in any of the shops near me-oddly, both Nordstrom & Intimacy had stopped carrying it only a month prior.
It was a very sad bra made of very thin fabric (the top of my dress was thick so no nipplage showed through) and I couldn't even tell you who made it as it doesn't ...even exist anymore.
This year my husband and I are throwing a 5 year anniversary party for the family we didn't invite to our wedding (we had a quite small one with less than 45 people), so I wanted to get a special set for this party since I didn't have one for our wedding (though I did spend some extra $ and got a nude pair of Hanky Panky panties).
In comes EM's BM Bibi Bezowa Perla. Honestly I thought it was off white (I mean, Perla means Pearl, which is an off white color) so I was very surprised when I got it in the mail and it's actually closer to beige/'nude' than off white. I was actually disappointed at first.
Then I put it on. It is heaven. Seriously. I bought it ages ago for my mom and she loves it (she has the black and white versions also). The uplift is absolutely incredible. I was very surprised. I'd seen the black and white versions on her, but she has close and high-set boobs, which I do not, so it was hard to have any real idea of what it would look like on me.
But I like it SOOO much more than I thought I would. It's a beautiful set. I've stored it away for now in my special occasion drawer, and I can't wait to wear it to our party. I'm seriously thinking about buying the black one also, but I definitely don't *need* it. Read more 249 more words
I love this bra! It is so comfortable. In the past I've had a lot of problems with bras (most recently the Panache Idina Balconette) poking me in the sides even in the correct size. I don't have that issue at all with this bra. I was told that was because this bra has norrower wires than what I tried in the past. My only complaint is that I wish it gave me a little more uplift.
This is the first 'soft' cup bra I've bought from Ewa and I'm very impressed with its comfort and support. It gives me really good support for my 34K (Ewa size) breasts. It doesn't poke and the gore actually tacks - the first bra to do so other than Bravissimo's own lingerie. I've got very close set boobs, so I'm very happy that the gore tacks. The gore does come down lower than I thought it would, but it doesn't bother me as my boobs are separated and stay where they should in the cups. The only minor thing is the wide setting of the straps as I'd rather have them in by about a centimeter so they don't sit close to the edge of my shoulders.
