    Fits

Read my profile for a more in-depth description of my breasts. Cuz I'm lazy and don't want to copy and paste! Also, when I order from Ewa, I use the size they recommend on their site (gasp!) and it has worked great.

I read online (one source: http://thecurveshaveit.blogspot.com/2013/07/ewa-michalak-part-2.html) that the 3D bras from Ewa are scaled down to fit small breasts. I love Ewa's PL Onyks, and wanted to try more of the plunge styes and I'm right at the top of the "small" range for the 3D, so I thought I'd give some a try. The 3D Bambino is 1 of 3 I purchased, along with ... 3D Porcelanka and 3D Satine. All three share the same basic construction, made with 3 panels (you can see in the photos).

    Pros:
*The bra is lovely, easily the prettiest bra I've ever owned. So. Stinking. Cute.
*Very, very, comfortable. I wore it for 12+ hours the first day, no problems. In fact, the only time I though about my bra was to think, "Squeeee! I'm wearing a new bra! It's hugging meeee!"
*The quality is very high, very soft fabric, but not so much so that I'm worried about hurting it.
*My breast are close together (<1 pinky width between them), and the low gore is super comfortable. The plunge does make it so the center of my breasts are a bit more jiggly than I'm used to, but I never felt unsupported.
*Super solid support, never felt like I'd pop out or anything.
*Band is perfect. Firm, not too tight, starting out on the first set of hooks.
*The removable "push up" pads are more like adjusters. I use one in the right cup for my slightly smaller breasts so they look even. Not "push up" at all, so don't be fooled. But it gives a great shape, no push up needed!
*This bra gives a great shape. Slightly more pointed (but not pointy! Not pointy!) than the PL Onyks. Gives me a touch of cleavage. A miracle if I ever saw one.
    *Narrow wires (duh).

    Cons:
    * I have very tall roots. If I push my chest out, or take a deep breath, the top panel does push into my upper breast tissue and looks kinda quad boob-ish. But I don't walk around puffed up, so it's not really an issue. All 3 3D bras do this - I won't be ordering this style again because of it, but its a very minor issue for me.

Super happy with my purchase, love the Ewa bras.

    Didn't fit

I ordered the Ewa Michalak 3D Bambino Bra in 65F (UK 30F) at the same time I ordered three other 65F 3Ds. While the center gore is wonderfully low and comfortable in all four, the Bambino's cups are significantly higher than those of the 3D Szykus, Satine, and Trapez. Most of that extra coverage is in the area surrounding the center gore. I laid the Bambino under each of the other three, one at a time. The Bambino's cups are, at some points along the top edges, as much as an inch higher.

The 3D Bambino's sides are noticeably lower than those of the 3D Szykus and Satine. I ... have an average width root, I believe, with lots of side fullness. My tissue is apparently quite firm and hard to push front and center unless wires and wings go fairly high. While my boobs are quite close set, their firmness doesn't allow spillage in the center, even with a very low gore and low coverage cups.

The 3D Bambino's combination of relatively full coverage cups and low sides is exactly the opposite of what works best for me.

Another fit issue is the straps. A fetchingly narrow 1/2" wide, the straps are too long even adjusted to their shortest length. This is not even close to being an issue in the 3D Szykus, Satine, and Trapez. The straps' looseness makes it hard to judge whether the cups are the correct size. I believe the cups would fit well if the straps were tightened properly. As it is, the cups gape a bit at the top if I don't stand up straight. To some degree this happens with most bras, of course. Fit is judged when standing in a neutral position, but the Bambino is less forgiving of bad posture because of the loose straps. I am, however, quite petite.

The band feels firm but not excessively tight.

The center gore decoration, a pair of tiny cotton balls, is adorable. They look like miniature cat toys.

    Didn't fit

I have given this bra away. I ordered this bra on January 20, 2014. When I received it from Ewa Michalak, I thought the 3D Bambino in 65F was oddly different in cut than the ten or so other Ewa Michalak 3D bras I already owned. The cups were much taller, the wings lower, and the cups gaped at the top. I'd only had great fits from the 3D bras before this one.

I am now convinced Ewa Michalak shipped me the S model of the Bambino. All the fit issues make sense if this is what happened. This type of mixup happened when I ordered the Ewa ... Michalak Truskawki Z Malinami some months after the Bambino. I ordered a 65F MP Truskawki but received an S Truskawki. Another Bratabaser received a 65F MP Truskawki Z Malinami when she had ordered the S model. Neither of us could get anyone at Ewa Michalak to respond to our emails about the mixup. The other Bratabaser and I exchanged bras. To this day, I have not received a response to any of my emails on this order fulfillment error. Because I didn't think of this mixup possibility when I received the ill-fitting Bambino, I never contacted Ewa Michalak about it. Returning a bra to Poland from California costs at least $20 if I re-use even the tiny box the bra was shipped in. I've never returned a padded bra to Ewa Michalak for that reason.

To be fair, a fulfillment error of an October 2014 order was corrected. Two out of the three bras in that order were wrong. One was two cup sizes off, and another was the S model instead of 3D. After emailing them and sending the requested photos of the incorrect bras, I was told to return the two and await delivery of the correct ones, which would be posted upon receipt of the wrong ones. I was told return shipping would be reimbursed. I had to email them a reimbursement request some weeks after receiving the correct bras, but I eventually had all three correct bras and return shipping reimbursed through my PayPal account.
