The material is a mesh that is a little scratchy... at least in comparison to the satin bras I have and like better. I've also found that I cannot wear this bra while sitting down for extended periods of time. It digs into my stomach/ribs. Standing is much better. I've kept it in rotation, but it's at the bottom of the pile. It's pretty, though it's definitely see-through.
