    32JJ

    Didn't fit

Elomi Eugenie bra is based on the Sachi / Soraya cut and it fits similarly to them. I usually would size up in this cut compared to Matilda (non stretch plunge which runs a bit big) and Mariella (stretchy lace cup) but with the size range ending at JJ I can't here. Matilda and Mariella are currently a bit too big on me in 32JJ which means Eugenie currently is spot on.
The bra is very pretty black mesh cups covered in silver lace on the front. There are 2 extra straps at the gore for a really fancy look. It's one of the most extra styles from ... Elomi and I'm happy a style like this is available in a larger size range.

How it fits : currently I find it a decent fit on me, it feels firm and supportive! The cups are a bit shallow at the center and therefore I recommend sizing up if you can- on me the extra straps (which are stretchy btw) just cut in a little. I also have center full boobs. The cup height and width is just alright for me, the wires on this bra are firm wires which hold their shape, so it's the new Elomi wire!

Now one word about the fabric. I wore the bra like 3-4 times since I got it. I'm actually wearing it today. So at first the fabric didn't bother me. But today the front part where the lace is on top of the mesh it feels a bit itchy. If it felt like that when I tried it on the first time I probably wouldn't kept it. So be aware of that, it's not the softest fabric. If you dislike the front lace, try Sachi, it's the same style and cut without any extra lace.
Also the lace is very delicate and it's recommended that you only handwash this bra carefully, just be aware of that. It's a high maintainance bra but it's also an extraordinary one and really pretty.

The 'shirt with decorate straps showing' picture is honestly fashion.

Very pretty and sexy. Looks great under a v-neck shirt. Somewhat shallow thought cup.

    36J

    Didn't fit

Update: I had my usual trouble with this bra's wire slipping down. This was the bra that helped me find out I'm not just close-set, but also high-set and omega-shaped! With being high-set, FOB, ultra-projected, *and* omega, I had a really hard time understanding whether a bra fit me or not. I'm used to bras being too small for me (or for my shape?) It turns out this bra is way too big for me in 36J, even though it seemed to fit right when I first put it on without knowing how a bra should fit underneath. I probably should have bought it in 36HH or even ... 36H.

I purchased this bra used/non-returnable in 36J (UK) a week or two ago, before I had found any bras that fit. I found an amazing Elomi bra in in the same frame (38GG - Elomi » Matilda Plunge Bra (8900) in 38GG yesterday, and I also tried the 36J - Elomi » Tia Bandless Bra (4280) and it was gaping at the top, so I was really nervous the Eugenie would be too big. This bra is apparently based on Matilda, Sachi, and Soraya. As I said in my Matilda review, though, I think it would be just a bit better for me in 36HH instead of 38GG. So I was expecting the Eugenie to maybe be one cup size too big. But it arrived today, and...

It FITS!!! In fact, this is probably the best fit of any bra I've tried in my life, and I've tried a lot.

I've had a really hard time finding bras that fit my shape, despite knowing my size. My breasts are full on bottom, fairly close set, slightly center full, and average or just slightly narrow roots. Re: root width, the actual width of the wires is rarely the problem, but being close-set/center-full means I need the wire less far back under my armpit, if that makes sense. I've found that wire width tells me less about how the bra will fit me than wire width + gore width. I also need a lot of projection, preferably a lot of it immediate.

As expected, the Eugenie's gore is slightly too wide, skewing the wires under my armpits slightly too far/wide. However, I'm planning to narrow my center gore, so that should have the side benefit of also pulling the wires closer to where my breast tissue actually ends. I think once I do that, it will be 100% perfect for me. I'm excited to see how it fits once I modify the center gore!

Even with those minor annoyances and a slightly snug 36 inch band, this bra fits me like a glove. I've tried on So. Many. Bras (both in my life and recently). Most bras, I put them on and it's like, "Well, it's not the worst bra I've ever put on, I guess? Things are more or less where they should go?" but every once in a blue moon I put one on and I'm like "Oh! It fits!" The Matilda 38GG I tried was pretty close, but the Eugenie finally hit that spot! There was no awkward gaping at the top, no wrinkling at the bottom, no pushing the wires down because of lack of projection.

Also, it looks really hot. It's by far the prettiest bra I've ever owned, and it looks like it'll match my strappy magenta Cacique underwear perfectly. The top straps are really fun and sexy, but they don't look scandalous under my casual work dresses, just like maybe I'm wearing a camisole. The embroidery is lovely but doesn't show under my dresses at all. IMO, the fabric of the Eugenie is a lot smoother and softer than the Matilda, which has kind of a stiff crinoline type of lace feel (which I assume will soften up after washing a few times). I haven't yet worn it for a full day, but it feels really good both in terms of fit and material.

If you like the Matilda but want a little more support and coverage, or if the Tia was really close to fitting but had too much gaping at the top upper corner, give the Eugenie a try. I believe the Sachi and Soraya should be nearly identical if you don't like the Eugenie's style, but I haven't personally tried them yet.
