    Fits

This bra has a wide center gore but it sits very low, so its should not be a problem for breast seperation. The shape is not that rounded, more conical and the lace on top of the cup has no stretch, maybe problematic for FOT boobs.

I've had this bra for a long time and I've decided to add my two cents. This bra crept up on me as my go to. I first got the Navy then the Red. The Red broke but the Navy has been a firm favorite of mine. I have to take in the center gore for this bra to work for me but it's an easy fix especially with a sewing machine. I was reluctant to buy more Bettys at first because I didn't want to pay a lot for a bra I have to alter. But as more colors came out and ... they showed up on eBay I got the turquoise one at a great price. And recently the black and blush were on sale at Nordstrom so I got those to. It has become my everyday bra. By taking in the center gore it opens up the top of the cup so it doesn't cut into my breast tissue and helps create a rounder profile. Betty has been the most successful Elomi I've tried. The lift and support is amazing and I think that is due to the strong mesh fabric. It is cut low by the armpits which is something I look for and the straps are more narrow set which is common in Elomis. I struggle with bras invading my armpits so this is an important feature I look for and appreciate. This is the only Elomi that puts me front and center as well. I attribute that to the fabric also. The east west look is what keeps me from other Elomi styles. The Kenza looks to be the same as Betty and I am expecting that to arrive any day. I will follow up with a review on that one.

Great fit around my body, but with shallow breast there isn't enough breast to fill out the top of the cups. The gore tends to dig in to the top of the sternum at times when moving around.

    Didn't fit

Of all the bra disasters I've had over the past several months, I think this was the most disappointing. I paid full price for it, and I TRULY BELIEVED while trying it on in the store (over two separate visits to Nordstrom) that it fit perfectly. I knew I would have to take in the band, but I was okay with that since Elomi starts at 34. I think maybe I didn't appreciate the full effect until I did the alteration.

When I altered it to roughly a 32H, several things became apparent very quickly: The bra is all wrong for my shape, so it pushes my breasts ... down and out to the sides. There is no center fullness or depth to the bra, so I have severe quad boob right after scooping and swooping, for the 5 seconds it takes for my breast tissue to fall down and to the sides to compensate for having no room for inner fullness. And these cups are really wide, so I have all kinds of empty space on the sides.

Beautiful bra, very high quality. Unmitigated disaster on me. Haven't decided what to do with this one yet -- I'll probably put it through fitting advice first. I have lost a fair amount of weight recently, and still seem to be losing. So I'm thinking it COULD be worth holding on to for...some time in the future. Even then, though, I can't imagine the shape of my breasts will have changed enough to make this bra work.

And maybe plunge bras are just all wrong for me. Perhaps I should give up on them altogether.

    • Well plunge bras are not my friend so I can't speak to that, but you will be AMAZED how much your shape changes with weight loss. I've lost a whopping 1 cup size and it's already a totally different ball game. Basically none of the bras that fit me in the larger size fit me at this size, like, not one. And ones that were a hot mess at my larger size are fine and dandy now.

    • So far, I think I seem to be losing band sizes instead of cup sizes. And isn't Elomi best for shallow shapes? I'm just not sure this brand is going to work for me even if I was excited about it to start with. I can't decide whether or not to keep these just for, I don't know, the next time I'm in someone's wedding or something and really need a low-cut bra. I could just put up with being pushed down and out to the sides for an event. I mean, I only quad when I scoop and swoop toward the front and center. This isn't as bad as other plunges I've tried -- I mean, at least it would be capable of containing my breast tissue for one night.

I have this bra in raspberry. This is the first bra I bought after using the measuring guide on reddit, which put me at a 34H. I know this bra isn't even a sister size, but I was so eager to get a new bra right away that I bought this at Nordstrom Rack since it was the only thing there that remotely fit. The band is a little too loose and the cups gap at the top a little. There is also some unfilled space at the bottoms of the cups. What I love about this bra: it's comfortable with no band slippage, the raspberry color is beautiful, and the quality is amazing. What I don't like: the slightly pointy, splayed shape it gives my boobs, the lace that was pretty rough until after the first hand wash, the extra fabric under the wires. Overall, this bra is not a perfect fit but it's a million times better than the 38D or DD that I was shoving myself into for so many years!

    Yet another bra I tried on on a whim https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I like that the bra is a true plunge with a low gore. The wides were too wide for me, however.

The things I like: the all over mesh is very stiff which gives great support. It is pretty and playful and comes in good colors.
I don't like the fact that the bandless bra rolls up and I have the same issue with 40E - Elomi ยป Asia (3913)
I need more cup volume, but not a wider cup, so I likely won't try on a larger size.
Herroom recomends Elomi Madison Plunge Bra (8730) for a similar fit.
Likely not a good pick for sensitive skin.

This is the bra I was sized into at Nordstrom. It's definitely wearable, but I have too much upper fullness and the top of the (non-stretchy) lace digs in a little.

I'd like to try this in a 36H.

I bought the Turquoise 40H Elomi Betty Plunge Bra (8170) from Nordstrom Rack for $26.08, including tax. I entered its measurements. If a friend of mine doesn't buy it at cost from me, it'll go back. I typicaly wear a 30F, so I didn't fill out the How It Fits section. I like the polka dotted turquoise color with deep magenta embroidered flowers at the top of the cups and deep magenta center gore bow. The colors are clear and rich.
