Gorgeous! The Due Lune Virgo looks fantastic on you!!!! Where do I purchase one of these tops, MiskiDwie ?

    • Found it :-) Thanks for your review!!

    • So delicate! Love it. Love4Pollinators could you show me where to buy?

FYI you posted a link to your salems scissors review to your duo lune bralette

It's unfortunate that Sabrina's bralette's didn't work out for you! I have two from her that I wear all the time. I don't have any of the lace ones though, so the cups on mine stretch quite a bit. I would agree that you have to go down in the band with her though, because my 30G's band is perfect, and I have a 31" underbust.

rubypig Click on the globe directly under Due Lune's graphic: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/due-lune/
It will transport you to their website. However, none of the payment methods they accept are familiar. Hope you have access to a method that works :-)

    • Love4Pollinators thank you :) Unfortunately I don't recognise any of the payment methods either....hmmm, I'll do some more research

Love4Pollinators and rubypig if you want something from Due Lune I will be happy to ask the owner to set up Paypal :)

MiskiDwie that would be amazing! That's such a kind offer, thanks :) do you know the owner?

    • 1

      God this is beautiful.

    • MiskiDwie Thank you for your generous offer! Before I commit, I will read your review. My one concern: does the band stay under the bust? Routinely, my wireless bras ride up which I find annoying. Thank you :-)

I'd also love it if the owner could set up paypal. That bralette is SO cute, I'd order one immediately.

rubypig - no, she reached out to us to create a new size range with bigger boobs in mind and now we email pretty often :)

Love4Pollinators you will be able to do so in just a few days!

jamiethemime I asked her to set up PayPal and she promised to do so as soon as her webmaster will be available :)

omg... I’m gonna need like 3 of her things. Especially if they actually fit. So beautiful.

lcl0706 I know....dangerously tempted to get several pieces.

    • 2

MiskiDwie Do you think she might start making 28 bands and/or larger sizes?

Great news!!!! Irena has a bright future ahead. These look fabulous on both of you and I'm shocked (and ecstatic) that you can comfortably work in them. Wow!!!!

OMG I'm so excited! I want!!!! Would you be able to say more about the feedback you gave the designer MiskiDwie and how she used it to adjust the design/construction?
I also wanted to say, between the Biblical* echoes of the line "and we saw that it was good" and the use of y'all, this blog post was a delightful cross-cultural bricolage, Polish with a touch of US Bible Belt!
      * You probably know this because you have clearly had a lot of education in English-language/culture stuff but the line "and He/God saw that it was good" appears multiple times in Genesis, when God is creating things in the world and is reviewing His creation and approving of it. A very fitting (!) line for the miracle of bralettes that fit full bust sizes :-D

wendybien So we actually took photos of the first batch of bralettes we were given, explaining the fitting issues, what worked and what didn't, suggesting alterations... the second time we got the bralettes Irena nailed the whole thing and that was pretty much it ;) but to be completely honest the first e-mail we sent her was like four feet long :D we were so happy that somebody wanted to listen to our feedback that the poor lady must have been terrified to see this wishlist of what the bralette is supposed to fit like.

Yes, this was a deliberate reference to the Bible, as we were so excited that it felt right to compare the experience to creation of the Earth :D Poland is like the Bible Belt / Country / Spot in Europe, 90% of babies are baptised Roman Catholic (including both of us, but like majority of young Poles we stopped our journey with Christianity in primary school upon the first Holy Communion ceremony, as in this part of the world being Christian = being anti-gay, anti-women's rights, anti-sex ed and so on. I am more of a Searching For The Right Church Match believer, so yeah... but I digress), and I was a bit scared that I might offend someone, but luckily nobody felt like I profaned anything sacred :D I am also really really self-conscious about my English; I work in an English-speaking environment on the daily basis (big office of a multinational company with HQ in Chicago) and nobody really corrects me that much apart from our QA, but I am sure I err greatly now and then ^^'

    • 1

Well if she was terrified at least she channeled that into a productive revision of the design, and your prayers were answered :-D

    • 5

MiskiDwie just to say, your English is great! Your blog is really well written, subtly humorous and ironic (which isn't easy in a second language). Don't feel self-concious about it, you write better than many native speakers ;)

rubypig I totally agree. It is so much fun to read MiskiDwie 's reviews!
