I am traditionally a 30D/30DD. DKNY bras seem to run very shallow in generally, so the cup fitting flush on this 32DD was not too much of a surprise, but I am still a little mystified at how amazingly body hugging it is. I don't even feel the extra half inch the outer edge of the wire goes beyond my breast. It may as well not exist, and I feel held in very well despite the cups being too wide. The band is a true 32, so it is a little big for me, but it doesn't ride up much and I got the ...bra for $7 when I desperately needed to get out of the bra I had on, so I have no complaints there. This is a rare case of a plunge bra not cutting into my upper tissue, and I love that while it is molded, it is very thin and not padded, so it behaves more like a second skin. The straps are soft and wide, the tiny ruffle on the bottom of the band is ridiculous but not scratchy.
tl;dr version: All in all I would rate this as either a very wide 32D or a very very shallow 32DD in terms of fit. Read more 105 more words
My breasts are narrow but sizable, and this is the only bra I have which has wires that actually follow the outside edge. Everything else I've found that's close to my strap and breast size has been too broad. Sadly, my breasts are also a bit close-set, and the front clasp makes the gore a bit too wide, so it digs into the inside part of my larger breast a bit (not that much because the gore is very short, thankfully). It also doesn't come in my band size of 28-30, which means I had to settle for a larger band.
Other than that, the lace and straps aren't ...scratchy and don't dig in. I'm happy it's a razorback because most of my bras the straps slip off my shoulders no matter how much I tighten them, but that's not the case with this one. It's overall comfortable to wear. I don't recall if it was like this when I got it but the brim of the cups curves out (away from the breast) a bit, which makes noticable lines under thin, fitted shirts, so I wouldn't wear it under that.
Despite the minor flaws I've mentioned, this is my favorite bra because of the lack of strap slippage, the fact the wires actually follow my breasts, and the lack of anything pokey or uncomfortable. Read more 115 more words
This is the best luck I've had with a T-back bra despite the band being a little too loose (32 is unfortunately the smallest size in this model) and having to extend the straps as far as they would go. The bra feels a little cheap overall (it has a plastic closure which I suspect will not hold up well over time), but the cups fit reasonably well and are great for close-set breasts.
