    Used to fit

I'm so glad to have found a size that fits in this range.
I measure 33" and went for the 30 band, as I've tried the 32" and it was too big. The 30 fits, but it's tight. I might wear with an extender the first few times.
The cups suit my breast shape really well. They get lifted from bottom to top, and the cup gives a very round shape. There's no cutting in at the top, except for maybe 1 mm on my larger boob, though this is covered behind a lace. The lace can be seen through tight clothes, but it really doesn't bother me, ... as I mostly wear two layers or something a little less tight (no need to put my big belly on display!). The breasts also stay in place in the cups when I bend over, even if I jump a bit while bend I over. The cup doesn't feel too tight though, and it's very open at the top, so I don't know if it's my breast shape or the cup that can take credit for them staying in place.
I haven't yet worn in around for a whole day, but so far I haven't experience discomfort.

Bratabase suggested the 30H for me, and it was a fit. The 32HH (i heard you had to go up in the cupsize, and since a 32GG is a bit tight overall, i went with 32HH) I had first tried was a lot too big. I'm normally a large 32GG. I would say that if you're full on top and need shallow cups and a snug band, go down one sister size from your normal size (down in the band, 1 up in the cup)

Edit 1/1 2013 - I haven't really worn this bra much since I started the pill and I made my boobs swell up at least a cup. I've stopped takin the pill for this reason, and I really don't want larger breasts, and because I had just bought 6 bras that fit. I haven't tried on this bra since the "pill swelling" went down, but I'll try it again soon and update the review. I've had it for 4 months now.
I've worn it with an extender, but experienced back pain. It was better without an extender.

Edit no. 2, jan. 22nd 2013 - the "swelling" from being on the pill has gone down! Luckily!
I've lost around 10 lbs since I purchased the bra and 2" off my underbust and maybe an inch off my chest.
This bra fits nicely on the 2nd hook now. I do thinks it cuts in too much at the bottom elastic of the band. I've tried closing the bottom hook on the loosest setting and that works better. It's great for walking, then I don't really feel it. If I'm at home or sit around a lot, the band annoys me some.
Though I've lost some weight off my chest, the cups are actually too small. I think breast tissue has migrated back into my breasts, and made them more "full". I think 1 cup up might be too big. I'm hoping to lose 40 lbs more actually, so this bra might work for me for a while during the weightloss. I can wear it now though, but after scooping it does bulge more than when I first got it.
I look forward to losing some more weight and hopefully having it fit.

Okay, so this isn't a perfect fit because the band is super stretchy. However, I totally knew that going in, so it's not a problem (and I have a Rixie Clip). Fits great in the cups as I expected because it's the same size cup as my 28HH (though it is a few centimeters taller on my boobs). I knew I'd love this bra when I saw it because I totally love my red one. It does separate my boobs a bit more than I'd like, but that is also not a big deal.

My soft breast tissue allows me to fill pretty much whatever shape the bra ... is, so this works just fine. At some point I might attempt the same adjustment to it as I did with the red one (where I brought the cups closer together), but for now it's good. I was a bit surprised at the metal detailing on the straps (just because the red one doesn't have the same), but it doesn't bother me. I think it might make the straps sturdier or something. Anyway, I like this bra quite a bit. The blue color really is lovely.

Remember, if you're looking at this bra, it runs a cup size smaller than normal. I'm a 28H/30GG (underbust is currently 29" so I mostly wear 30GGs on the middle or tightest hooks), but take a 28HH/30H in the Tease Me.

Me: Narrow roots, narrow shoulders, evenly round, lots of immediate projection, slightly FoB, slightly centre full, never met a gore I didn't like, left-heavey by more than a cup size, 31" underbust, but prefer tight band with extender. Panache, Freya size 30GG

I moved the straps inward by about an inch. This makes the fit almost perfect. The wires are abit wide and I am not fond of padded bras. The band is on the large size and so I don't need an extender. I like the height of the centre gore. It is fairly wide, which doesn't bother me, but I am impressed at how well this bra deals with my centre fullness and assymetry.

    • Just wondering how you moved the straps in - I have a few bras (like you with narrow shoulders) that fit in the cup, but the straps are so wide set that they chafe when I move my arms forward and sometimes fall off. Curvy Kate I find is not my "strap friend"... I'm happy too that I'm shaped like you are, so thanks for posting what worked / not worked for you!

    • I used Nesoa 's instructions for moving bra straps. It only works on padded bras, for me anyway. The only bra I am really happy with from a strap position perspective is the Gaia Annicka.

      http://dressingcurves.blogspot.ca/2012/03/alterations-moving-strap-position.html

    • Oh, that's interesting. In what way does it not work for non-padded bad for you? :) I've done a lot of both so if i can improve it in some way it would only be good.

The only bras i do not move the straps on are some of the newest @Curvy Kate bras as those are actually well-graded in my size range.

    • For starters, when Comexim and seamstresses move the straps inwards on non-padded bras for me, the shape of unpadded (and some padded) is shifted (see my Donna). The tension points on the cups are designed for the normal strap placement and I haven't figured out how to fix it - except to put a dart in the outsideof the cup just inside the wire, which pulls the straps wider again (see my Chloe).

Secondly, when they are balconnette style seamed cup (which work best for me) there often is no wiggle room for strap placement as the top part of the cup usually comes right out to the strap and is usually made of flimsiery material. I suppose it might work on half cups or maybe even some full cup designs, but the wonderful thing about balconnettes and how they fit is the seam work. Plus, I am relatively low set and I am on the longest strap setting on most bras so I worry about moving the strap attachment without the insurance of extra length.

I just got a new Empreinte balconnete that has straps set comfortablly for me, but has the same shape issue as the Comexims, only a great deal worse. I can correct the shape problem by putting in a dart in the elastic just inside the wire on the outer side of the cup, but this pulls the straps too wide! I am just posting some photos today of my Jasmine altered. But I have put a 1 cm dart in my Ornella today, which makes the shape perfect, but makes the straps dig in my armpits! I am so frustrated!

    • The tension point is always shifted, and the shape always changes. However, for some, when the strap is so far out, the strap will actually really just pull at the arm, so the shape will be closer to what intended with it moved... But yes, it will be more noticable on some bras.

I do think it might be a case of size though. Primadonna has never been an option for me since I started wearing bras that fit (reasonably well). In my size range there is usually always at least 1.5 cm to move the strap on, _if_ I attach it lower down, right where the flimsier part ends, but in the correct panel in the cup. But yes, then you lose strap length, which for me is no problem (I usually shorten the straps too about 10 cm when I'm on it)...

I should probably make a tutorial on how to just round out the armhole (which is the issue for some that are high set, it's just cut too straight and not round), and, how to use that extra fabric on balconettes without having to set the strap in the upper inner cup section.

      Thank you! :)

bought this some time ago in my quest to figure out which size i took in the tease me, which is notorious for being really off in terms of fit. sadly, this one is a miss. the band is TIGHT! i can get it on, but *just*, and its painful. the gore is too high (expected) and the straps are sooo wide (again, expected). the cups are a bit too wide, which doesnt bother me but is probably contributing to the too wide straps. the cups gape juuust a little, mainly because the top edge of the cup sits away from the body to begin with. its hella cute, but i have to let it go https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

me and tease me, we just cant win! this one is brand new from Figleaves, because i couldnt pass up the whole set when it was on sale. since the tease me sizing runs super weird, i figured id try this because it was the last one left anywhere close to my size. unfortunately, the bra is a total disaster, womp wooomp https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> i feel like i will never find the sweet spot with this cut. this colorway is gorgeous, the almond color is a like a light creamy beige.

the band is super tight! it goes to 32 before the wires start ... looking strained, so im guessing youd be safe to order just one band size down in the new models, instead of 2 or more like the old models. im not sure if it would still break in a ton and end up loose, but i dont think im going to keep it long enough to try. as it is, i have to use and extender just to get it on.

the cups are too wide by a but, but the straps are impossibly wide on me. they almost dont stay up, its crazy! because they are so wide, they catch in my underarms, and shove the whole cup forward when i move my arm, making a giant gape. the depth seems okay, no quadboob, but if i bent the wires to be narrower i imagine i would get too much depth. the gore is too wide all the way to the base, but in this bra it doesnt feel too tall, unlike the 30HH.

the matching shorts fit well (tried on over another pair), so im waffling on keeping at least those.

This bra looks beautiful- it's very sexy and in your face feminine- which i know isn't everyone's cup of tea but its very much mine https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

When I first bought this bra I thought it was a very good fit, but since losing weight and having tissue migration I'm starting to think that maybe it's a bit off.

Firstly the band- I'd say its a very comfy band- especially with the 3 hook setting - but I've noticed that the straps on my band area starting to pull slightly- meaning that they're taking more of the weight than they should- so if I was to buy this bra again I'd be tempted to try a 28.

The cups are fab- very nicely made and supportive- and the open shape make them great for my fuller on top shape.

It does look lovely on and it's very useful for under wider lower necklines.

What a pretty, sexy bra. Too bad it's too small in the cups for me. I feel like the cups are wide and the wires go out towards under my arm. It does provide great round cleavage though. The band runs about one size big for a 30". It's a gorgeous color scheme.

I love this bra!! I guess having the Gulf of Mexico between my breasts is a good thing for Curvy Kate styles, because I have never had the complaint of having too wide of a center gore. When I first got the 30H, I thought it was too big, so I ordered the 30GG. Then I realized that it was supposed to fit like that, lol! You have to wear this bra for a little while to let your breasts settle into the cup, but once you do, va-va-va-voom!!! Very pretty decollete, and gives the best balcony shape ever. The lace ruffle ... at the top of the cup will show up under some tops, but for some tops this is the perfect solution. I did notice that after wearing it all day, my shoulders hurt a bit more, so I had to do some adjustment in the straps, but it's fine now. This is a great bra for when you want a sexy silhouette for a long wear, but don't want the major cleavage of a push-up bra that shouldn't be worn too long. What goes up, must come down, ladies!! Wearing a push-up all day will stretch your breast tissue out and make them sag all that much quicker. Balcony bras are a great solution, and this one is the sexiest I own!!!
