    Fits

I got this bra for very little money, which was great, because I was pretty sure it wasn't going to fit and there was no way I was paying full price, even though it's a lovely color. Surprisingly, it's not that bad.

I'm usually a 30FF/28G, and I elected for a 28GG because a) the band was listed as being a little stretchy, and b) the shallow cups inspired me to size up for some more room.

The fit's actually pretty okay. The straps are set too wide, but I don't mind tooooo much because they're actually surprisingly soft. The cups are kind of flimsy and soft and just kind ... of ridiculous looking, because they're so frilly and flouncy. I like them, they're just fun.

So the shape of the cup is that it's very shallow at the bottom and gets progressively more projected until the very top of the cup. So my nipples end up at the very top of the bra and the top of my breasts sit out on top, which results in that enormous cakes-on-a-plate cleavage.

From the front, the bra looks pretty unimpressive. But from the side, it's like, oh, hi, boobs! Which is kind of fun. Since it's so soft and comfortable, and I got it for a song anyway, I think I'll keep it as a fun night out or lingerie bra. I can't wear it under most of my clothes (so. fluffy.) but I can wear it around when I want my boobs up and out.

I'm already wearing the bra on the second hooks, but as I don't anticipate using it as an everyday bra I'm not terribly worried about that. When I slouch heavily I get a little bit of gaping but my normal sitting style doesn't result in any. The lace at the top sticks up on its own.

So comfy, so fun, so ridiculous.

I can't quite believe I'm typing this. I only tried 28GG because 28G was not available, but quite simply it's inadequate for my rapidly expanding bosom. The bra gives me a decolletage that borders on the indecent, and as my nipples are quite high on my breasts, it barely covers my aureolae. I also have a case of quadraboob in this size, so I've had to go up to 28H, as it's seriously uncomfortable to wear - the wires dig in both sides of both boobs.

Too small in the cup and the front tends to ride down as a result. It gives a very rounded shape from the side though.

Far too wide & shallow for my soft, narrow & projected breasts. Curvy kate in general just doesn't fit me. I wish they did because all her bras are so beautiful!

I don't think Curvy Kate works for me. At least not the Showgirls collection. This seems to flatten my boobs and push them out to the side. Which is a shame since it's such a beautiful bra.

So gorgeous, but just a tad small in the cups. I normally wear a 28G and heard this was small, but even the 28GG is giving me quad boob and showing some nipple. I'd love to try it in a 28H if I can find it, because its so pretty and comfortable. The straps are very wideset, though.

Description: a black/silver padded balcony bra. Fully adjustable straps, ribbon details on straps and gore, black powermesh band, 3 hook-and-eye closures.

Pros: this bra gives some knockout cleavage (cakes on a plate). The lace detailing at the end of the cup hides nicely under heavier-weight shirts and gives a flattering shape overall. The material on the straps is comfortable, too.

Cons: the mesh on the band can be a little scratchy at first, but it's not insanely bothersome. The straps are set a bit too wide for me, but since they are so stretchy/comfy, it's not a big issue. I think the straps are far apart because this bra was ... constructed to push your boobs up to your chin and the straps, should they have been placed any closer, may have impeded the effect. Gore lies flat, nothing digs, wires encompass all my breast tissue and don't stab under my arms and all that fluff. Design looks smart and sassy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Unfortunately for yours truly, the cups are just too shallow for my breasts. Again, this is due to the overall aim of the bra--to push your puppies up under your chin. I can't scoop/swoop in this bra or my breasts would not be in the cups. It is cut very low (a sliver above the nipple) to enhance the booby-effects, but due to the shallowness issue, I'm, erm, not contained. I think I would need an H, ideally and HH to contain enough breast for this to work in the desired manner. As it stands now, I'm quadding all over the place. I also have a rather absurd silhouette because of the shallowness of the cups--it looks as if part of my breast has been lopped off in profile. Not a good look for me and largely indicative of a fit issue.

I received this bra as a trade, but I think I'm going to trade it out for the holy grail HH I desire or sell it out right.

I really, *really* wanted this bra to be a perfect fit. Boo https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

This bra gives the most perfect cleavage compared to my old bras. It lifts and separates instead of just smooshing them together. That being said, it tends to poke me in the armpit a bit and the band is a bit too stretchy. Also, even though the cups are the correct size, they gape really easy when slouching which is annoying.

    Nice soft colour.
Band width is perfect, underwires are ok. Center gore pokes a little bit, but not too much.
Cups are filled nicely at the bottom and sides. Problem: The satin ribbon on the top of the cup is too short; flattens the breast and creates a weird shape (especially when viewed from the side) which can be seen even under a t-shirt.
The overall quality is ok, but the farbics/seams are a bit scratchy if you're sensitive to that.
