    Fits

I am close set with outer fullness, full on bottom with gently sloping tall roots.
I love this bra. I think this is the closest fitting one I have. The cup are deep enough at the wire and the apex. The gore is short and cups are a good width. There is a tiny bit of empty space at the seam but it is negligible. This plunge seems to run slightly bigger then other 30F I have tried, which is perfect because I have experiencing some growth and need only slightly bigger cups. I love the satin material of the cups and wish their were more bras made with ... it then the mesh/lace material. The material holds it shape better then mesh so is less forgiving but lucky my shape matches. I like the print and the blue with the peach and red. The wires hurt slightly but I think I just need to break them in. I'm slowly working my way to try all the Curvy Kate plunges and they all seem to fit so differently. All the models related to this one is discontinued. This bra I think is suited toward FOB breast and is not as closed off as the other CK plunges.

Looks lovely on you! Can't wait to hear your full report on the plunges in this size. I've only been able to try Cabaret, Atomic, Princess, and Lifestylein 40J.

    • Wait, I think I also bought Dare. But it only went up to 38J then so it is too small :(

    • Thanks for the review. I have been wanting to try more CK but in plunges. I wasn't quite sure which one to choose so this is helpful. Thank you.

This colorway looks grand on you! So glad you found a CK plunge that fits.

    • I'm so glad you posted a review! I always thought CK plunges suited FoT so I avoided them.

    Didn't fit

I bought this bra from Zulily on a whim, at an extreme discount, and I'm astounded it fits as well as it does! I was worried I'd be quadding everywhere when I figured out the lace wasn't stretch lace, but it's suprisingly not a problem. There's not much immediate depth, however, and I get some pretty obvious wrinkling at the bottom of the cup, so it's not a perfect fit. Ladies who are more FOB may have issues in this bra. The cups are on the narrow side for a CK, which is good for my average/narrowish boobs. The band is stretchy enough that it could pass for ... a tight 30, but the 3 hooks on the back give a good amount of support. I got the White/Melon pattern, so the fun, bright colors with the light, unpadded material make it a really nice summer bra. The most quibble I have with it is a slightly conical shape (personally not my thing), and the fact a few strings had come loose from the seams and had to be snipped when I first put it on.

It is beautiful on you! Looks comfortable :-)

    • 2

It looks great. I'm just wondering if tightening the straps would help any with the shape?

    • 1

Wow! That's a really cute bra and it looks so nice on you. I might have to try this one.

    • Ambie-Australia tightening the doesn't really do anything for the shape for me, just makes the straps feel too tight :)

    • 1

I picked that one up, too! The bottoms are super cute, as well.

    • courtnelius yay for sales! Did you have any luck with it? I didn't get the bottoms (almost never do, because of money), but they sure did look cute :)

    • 2

I actually really like it. I got it in cobalt and then on the next sale I got it in white/pink and picked up the matchies. the shape works pretty well for me and Iove the low gore. So comfy. Mr. Courtnelius is a big fan. He's such an enabler.

Oh my GOSH I love this bra! My first experience with Curvy Kate and I am sold. It's a beautiful print and a lovely fit for me-kinda obsessed with the way my boobs look in it. I am surprised how much I like the plunge style! I'm nursing so I think I'm going to have my sew crafty hubby convert this one for me!

So far, this is the best fit I've found. Slight wrinkling at the bottom of the cups, but freaking close! Slight torpedo shape, but I think I'm going to have to get used to the pointy look, as that seems to be what my breasts fit best. It's also super cute and comfortable so far.

This bra is absolutely gorgeous. It gives a very nice front projection. Only comment I can make is about CK's fit - I have some bras in 32D (so, a whole cup size smaller) and they fit just as well as this one. I'd rely more on Bratabase measurements than label size.

Are you sure you checked the fit information correctly? The bra is marked as if it fitted.

The side picture shows that the bra is very small on you. The cups are very narrow and short and are sitting on breast tissue.

I'd recommend you put a fit request for this or any of your other bras, since they are all reported as fitting but from the pictures I'd estimate 2 or 3 cups up are needed.

    • Hey, thanks for commenting :)
My bras fit - I've tried bigger cups and they're definitely too big. I put them on a bit hastily to take pictures yesterday, but they do contain all of my breast tissue (I re-checked this morning). What you may be seeing is loose skin - I had lipo last year in my tummy and back and there's some skin that hasn't (or won't) snapped back yet, so I'm guessing that's the reason.
In any case, CK bras still fit me weird. I have better luck with my Freyas.

    • This bra is no where near the right size for you! The cup is far too small and your band is too big to compensate. Your breast tissue is not fully enclosed in the cup, the wire should be under your armpit not sitting on the breast.

I like this bra but I don't think it is perfect for me. The band seems firmer than the other 32s I bought at the same time, but that isn't a bad thing for me b/c I'm starting to think I'm a 30 anyway. The straps must be set a bit narrower than some of the others because they aren't digging in across the front of my arms, which is nice, too. The problem is in the middle. I think I have too much centre fullness so I have a good amount of quadboobage right in the centre. I can't actually see the gore without moving my boobs ... but I think it is sitting nicely, however, I have the feeling it might dig in to the underside of my cleavage by the end of the day. The bra doesn't actually feel really supportive to me and I feel it gives a bit of an inverted 7 silhouette, but it isn't awful on me. It lets my boobs go a bit too East/west for my liking. Just for reference, I think I have wide-based, close-set, shallow boobs that are full on bottom and centrally. They tend to splay a little. I also have a narrow torso and shoulders and plenty of squishable fat covering my ribs. : )

This bra is very strange, possibly the strangest I've ever owned. Some things I really liked about the bra were the colorful pattern, low center gore and comfortably stretchy (but very supportive) band. What I really didn't like about the bra: The lace cup panel is NOT stretch lace.

This lends an extremely awkward shape to the cup, and my chest. The bra is actually very comfortable, but the shape is very 1960's cone bra. Which is very off putting. I also got a touch of quad boob, since the lace could not accommodate fir any more center fullness.

All in all, I would say if you have larger, conical breasts, this bra would be a good fit. But if you're like me and need a little stretch for center fullness, or want a rounder profile I would not recommend this bra. @Curvy Kate, please get with the times! Stretch lace is best lace!

    • I love stretch lace, too, but it tends to be less than ideal for people with soft, heavy breasts, who need bras to lock everything in and stabilize it. So that's one reason why there will always be many bras with non-stretch lace sections.

This bra is awful! The bottom half of the cup fits, but just barely. I wish there was more projection at the bottom of the cup. The top half of the cup is away too projected for me and there was loose fabric. This bra is for people who are very FOT and need lots of projection at the top and shallowness at the bottom.
