I saw this beauty as a sleepwear quite long time ago and thought - Thats really nice looking bra! but then i remembered that Ive tried soft CK very long tme ago and decided that probably it will give me crappy look so I passed. Recently, ive noticed that there are more and more positive reviews about CK and I decided to give a go a couple of older styles as my shape changed for better since im wearing better bras. Ive got this one in 30e and im really happy! I love the colours - berry and copper - looks mature and sexy The band is 30, but feels ...nice and snug without extender - although its made of 1 layer of mesh so probably it will stretch easier than other bras. Strap placement - i give it 4.5/5 as its nearly perfect! and straps are fully adjustable The shape of cups is almost as round as my Cleos, its see through and the vertical seams are on my nipples so they shouldn't show up under thin shirt. Wires are ok, could be little more narrow, but also theyre much shorter than the channells so im getting little empty space and wrinkling on my smaller breast but overall it feels okay. This bra is beautiful, but unfortunately not as wrinkle free as my Cleo bras that fit well. I love the sheer black mesh with the lavender accents so much.
I originally tried the 28F first, but found the cups a bit too short and closed up top. Sizing up in band to a 30E gave me slightly taller cups, which helped a lot. The 30 band is a bit stretchy, however. I think the bra allows for projection but not much top fullness - the wires are still slightly wide. The top seam of the cup will lay flush against my chest, but as I move the lace in the top panel below it will bubble and show under shirts. The embroidery and seams also tend to show through my shirts. The low wings and cups tend to make my armpit fat issue worse..
This is the first Curvy Kate that fits me really well. I really love this bra! It is a gorgeous sheer black and lavender number. It gives very nice lift and support. A 28F may work for my 27 inch UB, but I often find 28 too tight (I am muscular with low rib cage body fat), so I generally stick with 30 bands. Finally a keeper from CK for me!
