Saw this recommended on the abrathatfits subreddit, then it turned up on Amazon Prime Wardrobe, so I thought I’d try. Online reviews said it runs small in the band and cups. I wear 34G/36FF in most Panache bras and 36FF in Shock Absorber Multi Sport so I sized up to a 38 band. In this brand the cup progression runs D-DD-DDD-F-G. My sister size would be 38F but keeping the reviews in mind I decided to go with 38G.

There is no underwire but it has separate moulded foam cups so it offers a limited degree of encapsulation. There’s a small bikini closure type hook in the front that ... lays between the protective facing and the zipper. Even though I sized up the bra fits snugly and it was hard to get the zipper lined up correctly so I could zip it. It would be rather fiddly if you’re in a hurry trying to dress for a workout.

The band feels on the verge of being too tight and it rolls on me. If I liked the bra I would consider exchanging for a 40 band.

The cups are too large and too small at the same time. There’s not enough room near the gore for my center full breasts and I get some uniboob there. The cup apex is taller and more to the outside than mine, resulting in a small amount of empty space near the strap.

The armholes are cut with barely any curve and the fabric cuts into my front armpits uncomfortably. This might be helped by a smaller cup volume but then I’d be more squished in the center front.

This bra retails for $45. High impact bras in this line go for $55. For another $10-20 you could get a Panache, Freya, or Elomi that’s much more comfortable and it’s easier to figure out your size.

    • It sounds like they are using the +4 method for the band and some bizarre cup measuring scheme?

    • I don’t recommend this bra at all. I’m sticking with my Shock Absorbers!

Non-adjustable straps stretch from 7” to 11” (estimate because the straps are not separate pieces). Tall, low set, and or high set individuals may be disappointed by the limited length. Despite the lack of adjustment, the 1.1” strap width creates admirable support on this lounge bra.

1.6” wide, plush, supportive band. On 32”-39” underbust, this should be a very supportive band for a substantial amount of time. My 28” underbust is simply too small for this to work.

Subtle shirring under each breast helps create a bit more space for projected breasts. Overall, the cup isn’t a good choice for tall roots because my super shorties are barely contained. Short roots, this may fit beautifully. Tall roots I recommend you look elsewhere.

Smooth and supple interior lining with cotton-like polyester shell. Wicks moisture away.

For a simple comfort bra, Core 10 makes a compelling offer.

  3. Women's Medium Support Cross Back Sports Bra (CDS-7549)

Less padding than Panache Sport Wireless. Yet, sufficient padding for nipple discretion and protection. The support is less than Panache Sport but adequate for my exercise. Personally, this will be a daily wear bra for me. If you need more support, Core 10 offers a "high" support version of this bra which I will review in a few days.

This model is nearly identical dimensionally to the Scoop Back style. The only difference I can determine is the crossing vs non-crossing straps. Although I didn't think this would result in a significant fit difference, it does. The crossing straps pull the cup sides up firmly. And, because this cup ... is designed for average bodies instead of petite bodies, it uncomfortably pulls into the upper-outer quadrant of my breast. Unfortunately, this is an all-too-common experience for my very short-waisted physique.

There are reports that this bra is "small." The band stretches 1" shorter than the listed band size. If you like firm support, order your band size. Because elastics degrade/stretch over time, I would add an extender rather than size up in the band. The cup, if based on US sizing, is typical. It fits like a Wacoal 32G. However, if the sizing is UK, the cups are one size small.

Additionally, because the cup edge is closed, this design suits short-roots much better than Panache Sport Wireless. The upper edge is doubled, stretch tulle that offers a bit of flexibility in regard to root height. However, I cannot recommend this Core 10 bra for full-on-top, tall roots: you will quad. To quote another customer, you will "look like an exploded can of biscuits." Panache Sport is a better option for full-on-top breasts.

The cross-back straps are adjustable along the full length. However, the adjusters are in the rear of the bra. Personally, I thoroughly prefer front-adjust straps. Additionally, I'm very short-waisted, and required the full strap length. The straps may reflect that the cup volume is too small. But, if I were tall and/or low-set, I would look for a different bra until the design is updated. Please note: the straps on Core 10 Scoop Back Medium Support Bra were not too short for me.

The straps are a limited stretch, plush, soft material. These feel lovely on my shoulders. Long-term, I'm uncertain how well they will wear. But, short-term, I'm smitten. They rival my favorite all-time strap from Wacoal-- Visual Effects Wireless Minimizer. These Core 10, 1" wide, thin, and unpadded straps are remarkably comfortable.

I like the materials and support of this bra enough that I ordered another size; hoping for a better fit.

  4. Medium Support Scoop Back Sports Bra A-h Cup (CDS-7551)

Me: Very short-waisted, immediately projected, shallow apex projection, center full, close set,...

This is "Panache Sport Wireless" for short roots with a bit less immediately projected molded cup. Panache Sport Wireless accommodates tall roots excellently, but short roots be damned. Core 10 Medium Support, in contrast, provides fantastic support for short roots.

The top of the cup is double-layer, stretch tulle. It is one of the reasons this bra fits short roots. It also helps it stretch to accommodate a bit more root height. However, the cup edge is closed. So, if you have taller roots, Panache Sport is a better fit.

Woot! Less padding than Panache Sport. Yet, still ... enough to hide and protect nipples. Core 10's lining is breathable, spacer foam. This foam is also a bit stretchy which causes it to mold to the shape of my breasts. Panache Sport is simply an inferno that does not accommodate my short roots.

The band is 1.2" wide, soft, supportive, and attaches to 4x4 fasteners. Squeal--4x4 fasteners. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> How I love this band and its support!! It stretches to 33" and provides great support on my 28" underbust. Note: I may need a larger cup volume, and that may explain why a band of this length is so supportive.

The soft, 1" wide straps are fully adjustable. And, on my very short-waisted frame, they are extended 30%. So, this bra should accommodate both low and high-set users as well as tall and petite bodies.

The cup is too tall for me, but completely wearable. Other brands pull painfully tightly across the upper-outer quadrant. However, the top of this cup stretches more than Shock Absorber, Panache, Wacoal, and Wingslove bras which makes this bra comfortable while the aforementioned are not.

This bra ideally fits: shallow-average apex projection, short-average rooted breast height, shallow-significant immediate projection, close to average-set breasts, and average-waisted bodies.

If you need a readily available, comfortable, breathable, nipple shielding, medium support sports bra with soft fabrics, this Amazon.com-brand bra may be a good option.
