I looooove this bra. It's by far the prettiest one I own! I went to the local boutique to try on some bras with the intention of then ordering them online via eBay, but I ended up leaving the store with this beauty. The cups are a nice peachy pink material covered with silver lace, and the straps are a medium-dark taupe color. This is my first Polish bra, and I adore the super rounded shape it gives me. It's a bit more structured than I was expecting, but not really in a bad way, it'll just take some getting use to the "boob armor" feeling. Gore tacks ... nicely (a little soft, but I hear that's to be expected in this brand) and the cups are nice and narrow. My larger breast fits perfectly, which means the smaller side gaps a bit at the top of the cup, but this is almost undetectable once I put a pad on that side.

A note about the sizing- My local boutique seems to have had Comexim label their order with UK sizes. Mine only has one size on the tag, and it is 34H. I had to contact the boutique to double check that this was equivalent to 75K before I could enter this bra on Bratabase because the system kept rejecting it with just the UK size! I typically wear a 34G/34GG/32H depending on brand/style, so I would say the band is true to size and the cups run a little small on this one.

I'll definitely be getting my hands on more Comexim bras!

  2. I had initially bought the Sonia as a plunge. The plunge unfortunately was waay to shallow and my roots were too short for it, so got the half cup, which is supposed to have more projection. For reference I ideally wear a 32F. Pendulous, soft tissue, FoT, with short and narrow roots. This bra does indeed offer more projection than the plunge, however it's still not projected enough. It's not a bad fit but I probably would be better in a band size down and cup size up, 70G (I don't think Comexim used double letters). I don't get a good with the gore but I've heard that ... Comexim has soft wires and that's common. The band is stretchy I already wear it on the second or third hook. My only real issue is that the straps don't adjust as short as I ideally need, I'm short so that's a problem I'm used to. The straps are multiway so I could possibly get different straps that adjust as short as I need.

Overall a beautiful bra comfy bra, but I find the band stretchy and cups shallow.

This is a really beautiful neutral bra... the peachy pink base almost blends into the skin, leaving just the grey lace overlay! I love the double layered bows also. The wires are conspicuously wider than they are in the plunge style, however the bra is extremely comfortable in all respects. Unfortunately, the cup volume is correct but this bra just lacks the amount of center projection that an EM CHP in my size has, so the gore floats on me. On someone with less center fullness, I think this bra would be absolutely gorgeous.

Sonia epitomizes sophisticated & sexy; she's a very grown-up girl with shrimp-pink satin overlaid with dove gray lace, taupe straps, and a scallop of salmon lace along the top of the cups. Gorgeous! I asked for the straps to be moved in 2 cm, which they are, and its nice to have them out of the way of my underarms. The 3-part cup actually has enough immediate projection for me - something that no Comexim plunge cut, even sized up, has been able to deliver yet. It is very soft and comfortable. But the band is crazy snug and it is not very stretchy, I'm wearing it with ... an extender on the last hooks. (Only stretches to 76cm/30" before distorting the wires! I read that here, so I went up a band size (sacrificing some cup narrowness), and IMHO 30" is pretty tight for a 34" back). Worth it though because Sonia is divine! EDIT: I washed her a few times and wore her a bunch and the band has relaxed to 80cm on the last hooks. Still pretty snug for the band size, but lesson learned!

    • I'm thrilled to read this about the immediate projection!! And, I had planned to order a 60 because I heard Sonia was super stretchy; no need now ;-)

    • Wow, thats really odd that the half cup is so different than the plunge. Your 75 half cup band is smaller than my 70 plunge band both stretched and unstretched! I almost wonder if its some sort of fluke

    • 1

kermitdafrog21 I got a Joy 70 and an Arabella 70 in the same order. Both are half cups, a 3-part & a 2-part (2 seam 1 seam). The Joy stretches to 83cm and the Arabella to 85cm. I just double-checked, and I can just pull Sonia out to 76cm,but it pulls the soft wires. Most of my 70's/32's go there, plunges and half cups (except Masquerade). So perhaps it is a fluke? Could it be the lace overlay; its not stretch lace? I guess the more folks get one and put in measurements, we'll see!

    • 1

The Comexim bands with wrap around lace are short! I order Geisha and Arizona in a 65 to fit my 28" under bust. However, 29" for a 34" is super short ;-)

    • My Sonia is a 75 band as well and I think it stretches to about 31" I'm between a 30/32 band and it does fit best on the tighter hooks, but it isn't too bad on the loosest hooks either.

My Sonia halfcup in a 65 band have the same measurements as your 75, maybe they made a mistake

I ordered this Sonia in 70H because I have a 75G that fits well and I love the bra, although while I can wear the 75G on the loosest hooks I prefer it on the tighter hooks. I also like using this bra as a neutral, and it's so pretty I want to wear it all the time so I wanted a second and decided to try a 70H.

The 70H is about a cup size too large and the 75G is pretty much perfect other than a loose band. The cups on the the 70H are about 2cm larger than the 75G, the width on the 70H is almost 1cm wider and the cup height is 1.5cm taller than the 75G.

I also ordered an Irish Coffee in a 70H and it fits the same as the 70H Sonia. I'm not sure if my 75G Sonia is off in size or if the 70H bras are the ones that are off.

    • Do you think that keeping the same cup could of helped? I know that doing that, the bra should be smaller, but perhaps it may have worked. In all logical sense, this should have worked because this is the sister size. Did you reduce the cups to account for the bigger cup? I've noticed that through measurements of Comexim, the sister sizes give more or less depth depending on the cup, but if you keep the same cup and move up and down the band the depths are rather close. This is not something I have tested so I just wanted to know if you had ever experienced it.

    • In the half cup Comexim won't reduce the cups. I will probably reorder and try a 70G.

    • amandafire ( ̄- ̄) smh, we'll for us high set folk that reduction is needed so that a half cup that is supposed to be open on top doesn't become a somewhat full cup lol (but not really though) I hope the 70G will cover at least 80-90% of your boobs, maybe this half cup will just have to be very open for you. I guess you could surprise your SO with it lol

It's absolutely gorgeous! Comfortable fit with a Rixie Clip. I still get very very mild quad boob effect on my right, but it's not terribly noticeable on a tight shirt. I suppose I either need to go up a cup size or need a cup that doesn't cut deep into the flesh at the top.
This bra's measurements have been altered
straps moved in 2cm, 3 rows of hooks rather than 2, and I'm pretty sure a reduced cup (it got kind of muddled in translation)

I bought this from another user to work as a pale nude bra. The color worked nicely, but unfortunately it’s a couple sizes too small in the cup. When I swoop and scoop, I spill out over the top. This bra is a dusky pink with a light gray lace overlay and has dark beige straps. The materials are soft and it seems comfortable, but it’s hard for me to really evaluate the fit since it’s so small for me. The band is stretchy enough that it fits almost like a 60/28 band.

    Hasn't set fit

This bra is indeed gorgeous! The colour is more of a rosy peach / salmon colour rather than pink, and the silver lace overlay is absolutely lovely. The colour combination is very delicate and beautiful. I also agree with the other reviewers that the pictures don't fully do it justice - it's prettier in real life.
Regarding alterations, I ordered it this one and a plunge, both with the alterations:
    - reduced cup height
    - reduced gore height
    - straps moved in
I received an email confirming the alterations, but I had also read in another review that Comexim doesn't really do cup height alterations on half-cups. However, comparing the ... cup to another 3HC bra with the same cup size (but that one also with lowered wires), the alterations seem to have been done. The straps have been moved in, but only by 0.5cm, and the cup height is lower on the Sonia by 2cm near the strap. The gore height is the same.
The band is extremely stretchy. I had tried an 80 band in the Comexim Ingrid plunge before, and found it uncomfortably tight (I usually wear 34/36 bands). But the 85 band is way too loose - it stretches easily to 100cm! I think it's mainly because the band is made from just one layer of fabric, but this kind of inconsistency makes it quite a gamble to order bras with alterations from Comexim, as they are not returnable. However, their flexibility and willingness to help makes up for it as far as I'm concerned, as well as the excellent fit of the bras.
The Sonia being now discontinued, I'm keeping it, but I'm already on the tightest hook and the band starts to ride up.
The immediate projection is great, there is a lot of it! You can actually see that the bra is sewn in such a way so as to come out at an angle higher even than 90°. This bra has the most immediate projection from all I've tried up to now. I am very impressed with it, overall!

  10. I love everything about my 65F Sonia, but it's laughably tiny on me now that I'm pregnant. So when the opportunity to buy this brand new Sonia in a more realistic pregnancy size showed up, I couldn't pass it up.

Comexim Sonia is probably the prettiest bra I've ever seen, much less owned. Silver and peach-pink! <3 And Comexim's 3HCs are the most comfortable and best fitting bras for my shape.

70H is close to the right size for me right now (30FFish UK) but I could still use a cup down - there's some gaping at the tops of the cups, especially on the right. I'm sure I will get to the point where they're fitting pretty soon as I'm only 21 weeks and I keep growing. In the meantime, it's still wearable, and I can tighten the straps a bit and/or use some EM cookies to fill the space.
