My first polish bra and sadly didn’t work out. 75H - Comexim » Basic Plunge Bra (170)
    I usually wear 34F

Firstly thanks to everyone who provided feedback, it was immensely helpful!

After wearing a few times and washing, it really did soften up. It is now less pointy and gappy (see updated photos).

There is still some gapping at the top of the right cup which is my smaller boob. Gore doesn’t tack at the top but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. The band fits snug but it’s not uncomfortable.

I’m FOB center full and I think I have narrow short roots. I like the narrow gore (it came overlapped without requesting which works for me) and how light the bra’s materials are.

However, after wearing this a few times I realized that is cutting into tissue at the sides. Technically it shouldn’t be too narrow when comparing to my other bras so maybe it’s not projected enough. I have no idea lol but off to sale it goes.

This bra is not owned any more

I am about a 28FF/30F (up to 28G/30FF sometimes), and I have short roots. You look like you're quite projected with short roots, so I can understand why you get gaping - you need the size to accomodate the projection, but then the cups get too tall?

Feel free to look at my profile to see what works for me. Note that the bras with a picture of the bra on the profile do usually have boobs in bras pictures too (those are my sold ones). You may also want to check out Calluna too. She has taller roots than me, but you can compare how her bras fit too (hope you're ok with the tag, calluna?).

I personally prefer the Comexim 3HCs over the plunges. They are slightly wider and shallower (so they MAY be too shallow for your projection). They do squish my boobs a bit, which is ok with me because my boobs are soft and that doesn't bother me. They create a nice round look for me though, which I prefer over the pointier looks of plunges. They also give the illusion of me having upper boob tissue, which I don't. I've been wearing 60J in the 3HCs, which are actually a bit small at the moment (I get bubbling).

Wilderness1 thank you for the feedback I really appreciate it! I do think I have short roots and substantial projection which has made it different to find ABTF! I will definitely check out your list of bras thank you for that :)
Interesting, I’ve heard mixed opinions about the 3HC some say it’s too open some say it works for short roots. I’m still going to try and see if the plunge softens up :/ maybe I’ll buy the 3HC I just don’t want another dud amongst my pile of bras lol. But I am also soft so it may work.
Ps calluna did give me some feedback too :)

margesimpson if you get a Comexim 3HC from breakout bras you can return it, otherwise you could buy an unaltered 3hc from Comexim direct and return it if it doesn't fit (any alterations makes them unreturnable).

    • 1

Wilderness1 thank you for the info! I’m in Canada so it’s actually a lot cheaper to order directly from Comexim for me. Hope you don’t mind the extra questions :) Do I just email Comexim and ask for an exchange/return? Same with alterations? I’m assuming I would pay for the shipping costs. Thanks again for your help

    • 2

Yeah I’m good with the tagging. I shared my Hot Chocolate already. I do have taller roots and, I am higher set than you but, my upper fullness is still a bit shallow which does make me a bit short rooted functionally.

    • 2

margesimpson I've actually never returned with Comexim because I always get alterations, so I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else will know?
I live in Canada too, so I always order direct from Comexim. It's around 20-26 zloty if you get 1-2 bras. I think it goes up a bit if you get more bras/undies, but it's still super reasonable.
I pay with paypal and have signed up for their free return shipping program, so that I can return parcels for free (they reimburse you up to $30 per return 12 times a year). Just read the rules. Once you've done it, it's really straightforward to do.
Alterations are free, and I usually just put the alterations I would like in the comment box when I'm ordering (with a polish translation). I always put a note that says "I understand these will not be returnable", otherwise they have to email to confirm you understand that products with alterations cannot be returned.

    • 1

      Yo! Canada here too!

    • 1

Thank you fellow Canadians! I also use PayPal so I’ll look into signing up for free returns :) too bad I’m in a lockdown area and the post office is constantly crazy busy :/ may have to put this off for a bit...

    • 2

Thanks for the update, margesimpson . Good to hear this Basic Plunge is softening up. Interesting what Joanna said about moving the straps in. I hope that helps with the 3HC!

This beautiful 75H - » Donna Balcony Bra (162) Comexim is everything I ever hoped for in a Comexim bra. I'm glad I finally figured out my size because this bra feels like mini cranes are set upon my shoulders to provide maximum lift. I feel supported and kind of sexy. The only real downside is that the pretty lace details on the cup can show through some tops. Otherwise, I could conquer the world in this bra,

This 75H - Comexim » Geisha Plunge Bra (202) is so adorable, I'm willing to overlook the 2 cm gap between the gore and my sternum. Everything else feels amazing as far as the band and how my breasts are lovingly snuggled in the cups. I just think maybe a different style would be more appropriate.

About me: FOB, close set, centre full, pendulous, and short roots.

Fit: So this is the first Comexim plunge that fits at the top of the cup for me. It’s weird because this is unaltered but the cups are shorter than the other plunges in my size and the straps aren’t too wide. Also the gore is wider than my other comexims for some reason. It’s a bit too small on my larger side and the gore tilts a bit to one side. There’s also not enough immediate or centre projection so it slides down a bit out of my IMF and the centre of the wires ... doesn’t quite fit into my IMF. but it’s my best fitting comexim plunge so far. It’s pretty comfortable. I’m getting a poke out your eyes pointiness which I’m hoping will soften with time? LOL

Material and appearance: soft silky fabric covered stable tulle, 3x4 hooks, grey straps, and a lovely pale pink pattern. The cups are stiff and lightweight, similar to the basic plunge.

I’m not sure if This is as good as it gets for me with the comexim plunge LOL Or if I should try another one in this size or try the size up with alterations....

it's so addicting. I know...I'm not sure if this is "as good as it gets" or if there's more alterations.
maybe someone else will chime in...
I kind of want to try this bra again, too.

I do think that the straps looks a little wide on you, but as long as they're not falling down...I know you have more narrow shoulders than me (cause I looked at your measurements on bratabase.) :)

    • 1

BraOdyssey hmm the straps are a bit wide for me, but not as much as some other comexims I’ve tried unaltered. I did read your review of the jasmine and remembered you had issues with lack of projection as well. Do you still wear yours?

    • 1

BraOdyssey hmm the straps are a bit wide for me, but not as much as some other comexims I’ve tried unaltered. I did read your review of the jasmine and remembered you had issues with lack of projection as well. Do you still wear yours?

    • 1

margesimpson , I just love the soft fabric of the Jasmine, but it was *one cup size* too small (definitely!)
I think Jasmine was more projected than the Basic Plunge, which has tougher material, but makes it more shallow. To show more cleavage, I think. Lol.

I'm going to get a 65K bra in the mail (Comexim) so I can't wait to compare cup depth, because I think that is the correct size for me in Comexim's Jasmine, I only tried 65J. I also tried 65J in the basic plunge - both the cups and the band was smaller.

    • 1

BraOdyssey good luck with the next one :)

    • 1

"added depth at the wire" what do you think?
In this same size...It's prob hard to figure out if they've done the alteration though.

Each fabric seems to fit a little bit differently.

    • 2

BraOdyssey I’m kind of weary of the added depth alteration. Like do they actually do that one LOL.
I’m thinking for me, go up a size with reduced cups and straps moved in. The arletta I got in 75HH was great at the bottom and centre , but too tall and big in the upper section. i may check with local bra boutiques to see if they do alterations like that?

The black basic is the SMALLEST, TIGHTEST Comexim you'll ever find. According to the helpful ladies at Wellfitting, the basic bra fits tightest of all Comexim models, and the black basic bra fits tighter than the taupe shades. On top of that, I converted wrong and ordered a cup size too small. For reference, I wear 34FF in Cleo and 32G in Freya. The 75HH Comexims I have fit me much better. If I were to reorder, I'd get the 75J because of the tightness in the black colorway. Despite my sizing woes, this is the correct shape for me (narrow roots, full on top).

For reference I'm in between a 32F and 32FF in Cleo.

This bra fits like a 32F.

The size seems right for this bra. I have tried 70 and 75 bands in Comexim and 75 is my preferred size. I have to use extenders with their 70 bands. The cups are pretty good here, but I have a Basic in a 75HH as well, and those cups are pretty good, too. The molded cups are pretty forgiving.

This bra is strange, however. I've owned two other Basics, and this bra is totally different from the others. The straps are quite stretchy, the cups are lined with ... white fabric (instead of the same color as the bra), and the cups are stitched oddly.
It's hard to explain, but the top horizontal/diagonal seam is stitched in such a way that it's pretty obvious under shirts. It makes it look like I am falling out of the bra, because the seam is so indented (even though there's a whole other section of the cup above the indent). The other Basics I've owned were not like this.

  8. Mimi Half Cup (288)

I am in love with this bra. It gives a great uplift, which is so hard to do with my soft VFOB shape - honestly it's a bit shallower than I expected so the profile is not as rounded as I'd like, but isn't too shallow as to cause wrinkling. I get a teeny bit of quadding on my larger side but not enough as to be a problem. The band is nice and wide and sturdy, with 3 hooks for nice even support. Super narrow cups follow my IMF perfectly Bonus: it's absolutely gorgeous to look at.

This model fits a bit larger than my Basic in the same size (75H), though I know that Basic runs tight. I didn't know, however, that Nadin runs a bit large. I probably should have sized down, but out of curiosity ordered the same size since the only Comexim bra I had at that point was the Basic.

Backstory: When I first tried Comexim I was still breastfeeding my last child. I thought that I had normalized, however, and did not think that I would continue to shrink in size. Lesson learned: I did. When I first ordered the Basic I was about a 32G UK sizing. My best ... fit had been Panache Jasmine. My bra arrived six weeks thereafter and actually fit quite well. I couldn't quite fill the tops (which I will get to later) but it did not detract from its appearance and was my best fit at that point. After a few months, I reduced in size down to about a 30FF/32F. Basic was still passable, but I needed new bra's! Enter Nadin.

Fit: knowing that Basic rantai tight I wasn't sure what size to order next. I went ahead and ordered 32h again in this model as well as the Arizona. I had the straps moved inward two centimeters thinking that perhaps it would help with the top of the cup which I couldn't fill properly. After a month the two bras arrived and I realized my mistake. Both were larger. I definitely should have gone down in band or cup. Arizona was way too big, and while Nadine was slightly too big and stretchy in the band it was passible. I could get the band to the last set of hooks, but oddly enough it doesn't ride up, so I have been wearing it until my next comexim order arrives. It also gapes at the top (not too visible under clothing), so I will be trying a three-part half cup next. I still love the plunges but I think I just have too short of roots to truly fill them out all the way. I could probably do with a 75G in Basic, but a 70G in Nadin (if that helps others guessing about fit).

Sonia epitomizes sophisticated & sexy; she's a very grown-up girl with shrimp-pink satin overlaid with dove gray lace, taupe straps, and a scallop of salmon lace along the top of the cups. Gorgeous! I asked for the straps to be moved in 2 cm, which they are, and its nice to have them out of the way of my underarms. The 3-part cup actually has enough immediate projection for me - something that no Comexim plunge cut, even sized up, has been able to deliver yet. It is very soft and comfortable. But the band is crazy snug and it is not very stretchy, I'm wearing it with ... an extender on the last hooks. (Only stretches to 76cm/30" before distorting the wires! I read that here, so I went up a band size (sacrificing some cup narrowness), and IMHO 30" is pretty tight for a 34" back). Worth it though because Sonia is divine! EDIT: I washed her a few times and wore her a bunch and the band has relaxed to 80cm on the last hooks. Still pretty snug for the band size, but lesson learned!

    • I'm thrilled to read this about the immediate projection!! And, I had planned to order a 60 because I heard Sonia was super stretchy; no need now ;-)

    • Wow, thats really odd that the half cup is so different than the plunge. Your 75 half cup band is smaller than my 70 plunge band both stretched and unstretched! I almost wonder if its some sort of fluke

    • 1

kermitdafrog21 I got a Joy 70 and an Arabella 70 in the same order. Both are half cups, a 3-part & a 2-part (2 seam 1 seam). The Joy stretches to 83cm and the Arabella to 85cm. I just double-checked, and I can just pull Sonia out to 76cm,but it pulls the soft wires. Most of my 70's/32's go there, plunges and half cups (except Masquerade). So perhaps it is a fluke? Could it be the lace overlay; its not stretch lace? I guess the more folks get one and put in measurements, we'll see!

    • 1

The Comexim bands with wrap around lace are short! I order Geisha and Arizona in a 65 to fit my 28" under bust. However, 29" for a 34" is super short ;-)

    • My Sonia is a 75 band as well and I think it stretches to about 31" I'm between a 30/32 band and it does fit best on the tighter hooks, but it isn't too bad on the loosest hooks either.

    • 1

My Sonia halfcup in a 65 band have the same measurements as your 75, maybe they made a mistake

I took the opportunity to try this bra; but unfortunately it does not fit well, largely due to the big band. This is a 34FF Comexim Clara plunge that I got in great preowned condition. I love the Navy blue lace overlay, which feels less harsh against my pale skin than black does, and the color and design almost reminds me of my Victoria 2HC. I chanced getting this bra even though I wear a smaller band, because it was reasonably priced and I have some very short firm Comexim bra bands, one I wear with an extender. I normally wear 28, 30, and some 32 bands, so ... I thought this 34FF comexim plunge might work on a tighter set of hooks. I was also curious about how the cups scale in a larger band. This bra was preowned with very light wear in great condition, with no signs of the elastic being pulled or damaged. It is one of the stretchiest Comexim bands I’ve ever had. It easily stretches to at least 42 inches and maximally at 44inches+ before I feel worried about deforming the elastic. The oversized band (for my body) causes the classic issue of the band riding up significantly and over tightening the straps, and which slightly impacts the fit of the cups. The gore also does not tack against my sternum. The tagged size is 34FF so I believe this is from Breakout Bras or another boutique, rather than directly from Comexim. The volume of the cups isn’t too off for my bust size and the cups aren’t too wide, maybe a little shallow at the bottom. I have some other Comexim plunges tagged similarly in their “UK” sizing, my best fitting comexim plunges are a 28GG, 28H, and a 30G bikini top (although the 30G and 28GG are definitely small in the cups, the 28H may also be small but slightly small with other small fit issues). I wear a larger cup size in the half cups and I’ve noticed an issue where if I size up appropriately in cups they end up being too tall and a bit too wide. I’m asymmetrical and prefer to fit to my smaller side. The plunges may not have enough projection where I need either, I’m very center full when supported with fairly soft tissue. My issue with their plunges extends to other bra brands and other clothing items with a deep plunging necklines, often V neck plunge tops don’t sit “taut” on me, I believe it’s because I am very short statured with a short torso with narrow shoulders, overall petite. I’ve liked some of my Comexim 3HCs and hope to try more of them, and more styles of Ewa Michalak bras. I like this bra and would be interested in trying it in another size with a smaller band. And hope to get more similar looking bras. I think there bands vary quite a bit; but this one seems very stretchy.

Got this on a whim, it was marked as a "Debbie" fit, which was described as reduced cup and gore height and straps moved in 2 cm, and marked as being equivalent to a UK 34FF. It's so wierd I'm not sure where to begin, but clearly something about it is not right for me. The wires are a tiny bit too narrow and just sitting on the edge on my breast tissue, though the band seems a good length. It doesn't dig in under my breasts like other Comexims I've tried, but it has this odd empty space at the top of the cup even though the ... cup edges lay flat against my tissue and puckers at the straps. Then it slightly quads my larger side at the gore while slightly gapping my smaller side. Maybe reduced gore on an already lower gore model is too low for my softer tissue?? It seems like the 'pointy nipple part' (if that makes sense) of the cup is super high on this, and it's not where my boob is sitting. Seems like this is not for me, whatever the reason.

I didn't realize that this was a multi-way until it arrived. Compared to my other Comexims, it wasn't very comfortable as the straps dug in my upper back/ neck area. Perhaps it was because I had the straps moved inward. This model is more comfortable to wear as a regular bra, but then it is definitely way to big.

Overall, I found that this model runs large- too large to be passable (compared to other Comexim bras of the same plunge size). I've lost the last of my baby weight and no longer nurse, so I am more of a 70G / H at the moment. Nonetheless, my other ... 75H Comexims plunges are still wearable. The cups gape more than usual. In addition to the cups being too large, i had to use the last row of hooks on this model and it was still a bit too loose. Compared to the fit of my other Comexims, I would recommend sister sizing down from your normal Comexim size with this model (which is gorgeous, btw).

I do think my short roots necessitate trying the 3HC (which are en route), so the fit might be affected by my shape. I cant quite fill the top part of the cups of any of my plunges (due to the somewhat rigid nature of the foam cups, though, they are thankfully still wearable and the slight gaping inside is not noticeable under clothing).

I will have to list this one, as I can't make it work.

Overall, this bra fits pretty well.

I ordered a 75 band for my 32" ribcage as I worried the 70 would be too snug. I am using the 2nd set of hooks (out of 4 total); I think in retrospect I should have gone for the 70 (I like a snug fit). The gore tacks well and the straps are in enough so that they do not cut into my arms.

My only issue with this bra is the wires on the sides; they are a bit lower than I prefer and some tissue does escape with movement. If these wires were just a bit taller this bra would be perfect.

Appearance wise, this bra is beautiful. The fabric is soft and comfortable. This bra gives forward projection and 'cakes on a plate' cleavage that Polish bras are known for.

Overall, while not a perfect fit, it's good enough.

This bra is not owned any more

A beautiful bra, but sadly too small.

I bought this through Wellfitting and according to their calculator I should be a 34H/75H. I would definitely go up in the band and cup size as their bands are tight and this one fits like a 32. A 36HH or even 36J would definitely fit much better.

Despite the size, the wires are narrow, which is awesome, but there isn't enough immediate projection for me so there is some slight wrinkling at the bottom of the cups. Due to the ribbon at the edge of the cup, this bra is really closed off so my boobs look flattened on top of the quad-boob.

I don't know if I'll buy from Comexim again just because there are so many difficulties when buying online and unseen. I have access to Ewa Michalak brands in a few stores near me so it's easy to buy online as I already know my size, but there are no Comexim stockists here in Sydney, which makes things much harder.
