  1. Pearl Flower Mint Plunge Bra (390)

    70H

    Didn't fit

hello, summer! This is the perfect summer padded plunge bra that I picked up at the post office today. It's a bit lighter (feel & fabric - because the interior is white) than the Comexim basic, which feels a bit heavier and sturdier than this pearl flower mint plunge bra, but it's nice to have something a bit lighter for the summer.

The fit isn't perfect, but it's not Comexim's fault; I should've ordered 70HH. It maybe looks okay from the pictures, but it's a tad small on my larger side (left) and pinches there. I stepped on the scale and I actually weigh 10 pounds more than ... 2 months ago, great /s. So, it makes sense why this bra is too small for me on my larger side, it probably would've fit me back then though.

I initially ordered 70HH, then had 2nd thoughts about it, emailed the office and I said that I wanted to change my order to 70H (like a crazy person...), but now 70HH would've been right so I should've just stuck to my original order. The moral of the story is: don't email the office so many times, once you submit it, submit it. LOL. Will definitely hold onto this and see if I lose some weight though, fingers crossed.

Other than that, maybe the bra is a bit grandma-ish, but I love it! I don't think you can tell from the photos, but this actually has many more interesting details than just plain light green: the gore and all of the fabric area under the cups (to the band) is one layer of the flower printed mesh, so it's transparent & makes the bra appear lighter/sexier, I dig it. The wings are the same print fabric, but they're sturdier and lined. I like how all the of the hardware and strap elastic is mint green. Also, there are pink/peach flowers in the print, but it doesn't really show up on the photos. There is a little C (for Comexim) emblem on the mint green bow -it would cool if my initials were "C," like Christy!

Per usual, this bra from Comexim is a winner; I just wish I hadn't gained 10 pds, or it would've fit perfectly. But I will still hold onto to it. As far as pricing, this bra is on their cheaper end, I think it's b/c there are lighter fabrics used. The price is 125 zloty for the bra, and 22 zloty for shipping, so 147 zl total. For all of the details and the sewing on this bra, wow, definitely worth it! Thank you, Comexim = )

It's too bad b/c this bra is soooo close to perfection; if I gain 10 pounds I have to go up a cup in padded plunges though (apparently).
Update: 3-Jun-2021, I decided to order it in 70HH. This bra is just too perfect for summer!

wow, this actually has little pink/peach flowers on the print, but this doesn't show up at all in the photos.

    • 1

Ohh wow. It’s so pretty. I never would have noticed the floral pattern unless you pointed it out. So many times bras come and pictures don’t do them justice.

    • 1

Yes, I agree! every time I get a comexim bra, I think to myself, "this is so much better in person." Maybe I should take a picture in a sunny room later, b/c you can't really see the colours on this one. It's a bright fresh mint green. It looks dull in the photos, but it's not. It's fun. lol.

    • 1

It’s really pretty, I love the colour! Too bad it’s too small :( can’t tell from the photos though

    • 1

      thank you, margesimpson !!

    • 1

Looks good on you! Definitely do not sell it! I've made that mistake tooooo many times.

    • 1

This looks so nice!! I wouldn’t sell it either!!

    • 1

Wilderness1 , braluv , Okay, I'm not going to list it, you've inspired me. I was thinking - yes, it's too small a.t.m., but the shape is fine. I thought of listing it so someone else could use this "summer bra." But maybe I will fit into next year. Or whenever.

    • I do love this colour for summer though. I think having the "sea foam green" and white interior makes the bra feel....like I won't sweat!

I know that I'm always talking about the heat and I live in Canada...but it does actually get warm here sometimes. lol.

    • 1

I totally want this one now, LOL. It’s such a nice colour! Is the fabric soft/stretchier than the basic?

    • 1

So, yes! I think it is softer and a bit lighter than the basic. I think I was commenting on reddit (which I comment on waaaayyy to much!): if people are going to have fit issues, it seems like with the Basics. Like this girl https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/nsem1e/recently_lost_some_weight_fit_check_for_my/ The Gloria and the Adele are okay (softer fabrics) but she has fit issue with the basic, unfortunately.

But don't let me peer pressure you into buying what's not right for you, lol....

    • 1

margesimpson , it costs slightly less than the basic, too, IIRC. I think it's because of the materials.

For some reason, I just really hate to sweat, even though I'm in Canada. I'm always worried about being too hot in my bra..

    • 1

LOL I know for sure that this material would be more forgiving than the basic...just trying to decide if I will try a plunge again..

    • 1

BraOdyssey yep, I’m in Canada too and the summers are brutal. Always nice to have lighter summer bras!

    • 1

margesimpson, I know, it's a tough call...you could always order some from breakout bras and then return them? It takes about a month though...Like some of the softer ones, and see how the fit is? Compared to Comexim's basic, at least? Wish I knew more about the alterations. In this video, Erica from S.P., she said that her perfect alteration is reducing the cups, and having the straps moved in https://youtu.be/5wC5e4Xxt0M She is size 30H though.
I'd like to try a longline in the fall.

    • *having the straps moved in 2cm...I just the leave the straps as is...maybe I missing out though, lol. I'm bit taller than average though.

    • 1

I definitely need straps moved in 2cm on the plunge, if I’m going to try it again *sigh.
You don’t need this alteration, you’re not missing out LOL which is good!
Straps moved in works for gaps at the top of cups if you’re short rooted like me and for straps that are too wide they dig into armpit, slide off shoulders etc.

This bra is so beautiful in person! It’s a lovely smoky grey with delicate baby pink and white embroidery. The fabric is soft and not itchy. The cups are a three part, vertical seem cup with two layers of fabric. The inside of the cup is a monotone mesh with the outer fabric an embroidered mesh. The center gore, as well as the rocker of the bra consists of the same embroidered fabric with a small pink bow on the gore. The straps are a dark gray that coordinates with the gray mesh back band. The band on this bra is extremely stretchy! I definitely suggest sizing down. ... Even on the tightest set of hooks the bra felt loose, so the life of the bra wouldn’t last long. The back band had a 3x4 closure. Also be warned that the hardware that connects the straps to the back of the band squeak! The fit in the cup ran small for me, so I will be exchanging for a smaller band, bigger cup to see if I can get a better fit. This bra is just too beautiful to give up on.

    Matching panties in size Medium:
The front of the panties has a double layer of dark gray mesh, with a single layer of embroidered fabric next to it. The front portion of the hip area is a single layer of dark gray mesh. The back of the panties is also a single layer of the dark gray mesh. The crotch ha a black cotton fabric gusset. All elastic is dark gray.

That's really pretty. I hadn't seen it before now, but that's probably because I'm in Canada and only order direct from Comexim (BOB exclusive?). Hope the next one fits you perfectly. Thanks for the review!

    • 1

Wilderness1 I just checked the Comexim website, and they have it available.
      https://www.comexim.pl/en/balkonetka/676-onyks.html
I just put in for an exchange for a 60L(28HH) to see if I can get a good fit. I definitely need one cup up and one band down. It really is so pretty. And I love gray bras! This is one I really really want to work.

    • 1

Oh, I didn't even realize that was the same bra! I thought that one was an unpadded one, so I overlooked it (not in the market for more unpadded). It's really pretty!

    • 1

That's so pretty! I've only tried one unpadded half cup but I was in the wrong size at the time so it was bad lol

    • 1

Happy2BraShop I always thought their 60L's fit like 28GG's? Has my whole life (6 monts experience with comexim, lol) been a lie?
Also, beautiful bra, great choice! It seems to have a bit of a vintage aesthetic to me.

    • 2

marilynne I haven’t tried a 60L yet, but I hope it fits. Of the few Comexims I’ve had over the years I feel like they’re inconsistent, so I honestly can’t even say any one size fits one way lol.

  3. Onyks Non-padded Half Cup Underwire Bra (CMONYKS)

I originally reviewed this in size 65J(30GG) http://bra.pe/X35Q/ but due to fit issues I exchanged for this 60L(28HH). I’m so glad I decided on going one band down and up a cup. It fits spot on and exactly what I was looking for in terms of fit and look. This bra is very comfortable, but it still has the squeak where the back hardware attaches to the straps. I’m hoping with some wear, that squeak will go away. For all the fabric details please see my original review, where I go into detail. I deducted a point for quality due to the squeak.
    For reference:
    I wear a 65J in padded plunge
    I wear a 65K in 3HC padded basic
    I wear a 60L in this 3HC non-padded Onyks

Thank you for the review and for detailing what size you wear in all those. Looks great on you!

    • 1

Wilderness1 Thank you. I really wanted this one and really glad I got the size right. I love gray bras and I’m really into non-padded bras right now. It’s strange tho how I can wear so many sizes across one brand. But I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised since the same thing happens with regular clothes.

    • 1

Looks gorgeous and wonderful on you!! I hate when my bras squeak, lol!! I just noticed my most recent black Comexim does that sometimes!!

    • 1

It’s so pretty. I’m trying to figure out what if I need a 65HH or 65J in this. If it’s exactly like the Bridget, as they say it is, the 65HH should do. But if your 65J was too small, it could work, possibly.

    • 2

braluv It makes me laugh actually. My husband was looking at me funny when I was trying it on and asked what that noise was. I told him my boobs needed some WD-40 hahaha. He laughed and walked away.

Calluna The 65J was definitely too small in the cup for me because my boobs are so full on top. The bra just smooshed my boobs in together with the gore sitting on top of my cleavage. With the pushed in together, it also created quad boob. I think for me the 3HC cuts I’ll definitely be sizing up to the K cup in my usual 65 band. I just got a Comexim Tara non-padded longline in 65K, so I hope that fits when I get it.

  4. Yellow Bird Plunge Bra

I got this bra from Wilderness1 a couple days ago, and had a chance to wear it for an extended period of time on Saturday. It was a twelve hour wear day, which included driving to and from Toronto (about four hours worth of driving), plus a lot of walking around.

For reference, I am a 26FF on paper, with narrow, tall roots, and even, firm tissue.

I am extremely pleased with this bra, and only have a few minor things to mention. Over the course of the twelve hour day, the band started digging in along the bottom edge at the wings. This band is ... currently fitting somewhere between a 24-26, which I think is a little ridiculous considering it was ordered as a 60(28) band. It's probably because the band is double layered with fabric instead of just being mesh. The only other thing that surprised me was that the yellow is actually more neon in real life than it appears in photos, but this doesn't bother me. (The photos of the bra itself on my bed are the most accurate colour-wise).

Other than that, it is an exceptional fit. The wires are the perfect width, the cups are the perfect volume, and with some more wears and washes, the band will most likely start to loosen up and fit more comfortably.

    Didn't fit

This is my first time to try a half cup bra without lowering the gore and I’m glad it’s quite good!

My shape is projected, full on top and centre with narrow & tall roots. Soft tissue and extremely close-set breasts. My usual UK size is 28F and Comexim size 60HH.
I have never had a half-cup bra before except for the Comexim 3HC since they are usually too wide (especially with UK bras) with too sturdy wires that would hurt at the gore. With basically no distance between my breasts, I always request for a lowered gore even in lined 3HC from Comexim. This time, I take my usual ... size 60HH but did not request a lowered gore since most unlined bras with a low gore means less room for my top fullness. All unlined plunges basically cut in my tall roots except for those with stretch lace like the Panache Andorra plunge. I decided to try an unlined 3HC from Comexim because I am just in need for a plain white bra that doesn't add any bulk.

This bra fits just as well as the lined 3HC. I would recommend to take your usual Comexim size if you would like to try an unlined bra from them. Although I didn't ask for a lowered gore, it is still low compared to most half-cups on the market. The soft wires help too. But I think my breasts are too close together so the gore is not laying flat. Since I asked for an overlapped gore, I also expected it to be narrower. Like lined 3HC's, the wires are narrow, and cups quite deep and open on top. With its stretchy material, the cups also accommodate lots of top fullness. Band runs true to size.

Overall I find this bra fitting quite similarly as the usual lined 3HC.

what a lovely bra! I hardly ever see anyone reviewing unlined Comexim half cups, but I've been interested in them for a while now. Might take the plunge after seeing your review.

I am not usually drawn to white bras, but this one is super pretty and looks great on you!

What type of clothing do you wear with plain white bras? I usually just do black and nude, I have no idea how to wear other colors with clothing. White has always baffled me!

Charlotteke I am surprised unlined Comexim is not more popular too! It has really good quality and fits just as well as the lined HC.

belleandblues I wear mainly white t-shirts / shirts over white bras. I never wear any beige bras because I just don't like the colour. I try to match the colour of my clothes to the bra so it won't be too visible, or I can wear any pattern under dark-coloured clothes. But the problem with white bras is that they tend to gradually become yellow/grey tinted if they are not washed separately with white items only.

    • 1

Beautiful bra and fit! The design on the cups is really pretty.

    • 1

Thanks so much for this information, I'll be ordering some with my next haul! I have a few unlined Kris Line half cup bras underway that look very similar to this. They were on heavy sale so I took a gamble because I so love the look of them. I used to wear a similar style from Aubade until I sized out of their range, such beauties!

    • I’ll have to try matching light bra colors to light colored clothing then, for some reason I just assumed it wouldn’t work as well as nude, but I agree that nude isn’t the most attractive color. I am trying to branch out with colors more since so many European brands make pretty colors that you don’t find as often here in the US.

I am also thinking about placing a Comexim order in the future to get the Ingrid Plunge, but I’ll put this on the list as an unlined option to try. Do you have any other unlined styles from Comexim that you would recommend or want to try?

    • belleandblues I have heard that matching bras to your skin tone also works well. For example many Caucasians have pink undertones and pink or even red bras aren't noticeable under white shirts. It will take some trial and error, but I really dislike nude so I wouldn't mind if my light-coloured bra are somewhat noticeable.

Sharon / Coco are unlined cuts that have been more popular although I haven't tried them myself. So is Bridget, a newer model, but I am not sure if it is still available. If I could, I would love to try Musetta as it just looks very good in the pictures!

      kate166 ,
It sure looks deliciously airy and supporting, quite a difficut to achieve performance.

However is it me falling for an optical illusion or the underwires sit about 1 finger too low from the IMF?

Kind of hard to tell, it's so smoothly curved.

Thanks, have a glorious day !

    • 1

femineaaeterna You are not the first person to say the bra sits too low, but when I check where the wire marks are after I take the bra off, they are right at the IMF. It might look that way because I have long boobs, lol

    • 1

      kate166 ,
Thank for enlightening me, I was just worried since bras that do not click on the IMF and sit below are of very common occurence even on catalog models.

I am so happy with this bra! *I ordered it with cup height reduced 2cm and straps moved inward 2cm.* I am not sure whether they actually did the strap alteration, since the straps aren't nearly as wide-set as Ewa Michalak bra straps but still definitely not perfect. However, it's clear that they did the cup height reduction and I'm super happy with it! I'm definitely glad I ordered a cup size up to compensate for the resultant decrease in cup depth, since the cups seem like a perfect fit. I'm not sure why the gore doesn't quite tack, but it doesn't bother me. BTW, if you have ... trouble with gores being too tall, you may have an issue here -- the digging in only bothers me sometimes but I can imagine that it would be really annoying for someone whom gore height commonly affects.

The Ingrid floral print is stunning as always. I really love how the fabric looks almost vintage, with the almost rusty color of the bows adding to the effect. I honestly think this is one of my prettiest bras and although the cup height reduction was purely for comfort (to mitigate the super-tall-cup syndrome that Comexim plunges get), I think it adds to the appearance.

The band is VERY tight! I had to wear it with an extender for the first few days, and I still use an extender for comfort for time to time. It's a nice TTS 26, stretching to exactly 26.0 before the wires begin to distort. The wires are perfectly narrow enough for my larger breast and just the tiniest bit too wide for my smaller one, but of course I'd prefer that over having them sit slightly on top of my larger breast. There's not a TON of depth at the wire, but I definitely don't get the bottom-of-cup gapping that I did with my 60J Basic Plunge.

Now that everyone has learned how much I tend to ramble in my reviews, here's an overview: Cup height reduction completely fixed the armpit-cup issue, but I'd definitely recommend sizing up if you request that alteration. Obviously gorgeous appearance -- I'm so glad to have an Ingrid that fits since it's my third try with this stunning bra (glad I persevered!). Gore sometimes digs into my chest at the top, but it's no big deal for me and it's comfortable otherwise.

  7. Rose Plunge Longline (CUSTOM-ORDER)

Confession: when I realized that Comexim was so accommodating with customizations I got carried away. I love the way the Rose longline looked but had read that the longline 3hc were a little wide and shallow. I had been lusting after this bra forever. So, I requested to have it made into a plunge and they agreed - with no questions or additional charges. The ease with which customizations can be made at Comexim are going to get me in trouble - the possibilities are literally endless.

This bra is simply perfection. I love it. The cups fit like a dream. Like the other bras in this order, ... I requested to have the straps moved in 2cm and the gore narrowed. I can confirm that the gore was narrowed, but the straps appear to be in the original position. Perhaps because of this, I do not appear to have a problem with the volume of the cups, unlike the other three bras. Like the Paola, the band is slightly too large. But given my flared ribcage, it is actually very comfortable in the longline style. If I were to order another longline plunge, however, I would want to try a 60 - I am worried that the band will stretch too quickly and lose its support.

This bra is hands-down my favourite in the order. It is husband-approved and wildly comfortable. The subtle sheer lace detailing on the top and the pattern of the texture is incredible. I am so disappointed that I didn't buy the matching high-waisted panties. I will definitely pick a pair up in my next order, and likely another longline plunge as well.

    • WOW! So beautiful! I’m always nervous about longline bras and wonder what they are like for long term wear. Like, would you wear it to work or save it for date night with the hubby?

    • 1

Calluna it is actually supremely comfortable. I don't have a physical job, so I think I could easily wear it on a daily basis. I will try it out and let you know!

    • Beautiful! Looks great on you. Glad this one fits you.

    • 1

So are the pleats in the print actually textured or do they just look pleated?

    • I love the longline, as it gives the rib area a band "holiday" so to speak. If only I could get them to make one that fit me in the cup (sniffle sniffle).... This one looks lovely on you!

    • 1

Calluna they just looked textured. It is part of the fabric print.

Oh man.... I was really hoping I could have a successful Comexim order because of how much I love the look of this bra but the fit on this is just terrible. Overall, the bra is just not shaped right. The bra seems to just assume VERY outer full breasts. The apex of the cup is too far outwards for me, and there's a lot of empty space of the outside of the cup. The cups are also too tall overall, while the gore is very short so I fall out the center (I actually had a nip slip out the top of the cup about 15 minutes after putting it on). I'll try to get measurements up soon, but just wanted to add to the large cup Comexim fail reviews we have going

Lmao Comexim's been on a ROLL these days. The shape is pretty bad but i'm also concerned about complete lack of separation in this case. Beautiful bra though!

    • I am hoping someday they will redesign the K cups. It's always the same thing, too much fabric on the outside, not enough in the middle.

    • Oh no. I second brasaremean comment. They are on a roll for sure. This is a travesty. I'm so sorry. I thought about ordering this one with the Ardea I added to btb yesterday, and boy am I glad I did not. Yikes.

    • What a shame. It's gorgeous, though.

You are 100% spot on with them expecting your breasts to be out to the side instead of out front, like we're hiding them under our arms like footballs or something. It's so sad, as I love their patterns (& prices!!)

If it makes you feel any better, you are not alone with the Comexim fit fails. Here's my Beatrice fail with a lot of the same issues as you:
      https://www.bratabase.com/bra/diwks/

    • 2

MamaPagan Your breasts don't hide in your armpits?! Lucky!
But seriously. Yes. They must think we're smothering them right under there or something.

    • 1

DerangedDragons19 My breasts are splayed and like to hang out there. I don't really want them there!

    • 2

Sovavosi Splaying is a little different from the shape Comexim is giving us :)
But I 100% agree. If I wanted my breasts to hang out there all the time, I'd just lay down all the time, which really doesn't seem like such a bad idea really...

    • 1

I think if they want our breasts under our arms, we should get quarterback pay. ....
      42 27 36 Hike! :-D

(I am not a football fan, so I may have my references wrong, haha)

    • 1

Even with my boobs actually folded into my armpits (like in the pic where I'm leaning forward) there's STILL too much armpit fabric.

As far as the lack of separation goes I have mixed feelings about it. Its done poorly here as I just fall out the middle but my boobs touch (unsupported I have like 3 inches of cleavage where they're in full contact lol) but if done well it might actually be nice to not have a gore sitting on breast tissue.

    • 1

kermitdafrog21 I'm going to guess that Paola is an extra deep plunge, I really wanted this one so I guess I'll have to tell them regular plunge? Standard plunge? I don't know what they call them.

    • 1

Or request Raised gore? If I order another padded from them, that's what I'll request. :-/

    • 1

MamaPagan Raise gore by how much?

    • 1

Now that is the tricky question. All my Comexim gores are different, without any consistency.
My Patricia 60Q was 3.1" while the 60P was 3.65" when I requested a lower gore haha. That one is supposed to be an extra deep plunge. Graffiti regular 60P was 4" but the one I ordered with reduced gore by 2cm was 3.5". My other plunges ranged from 2.5" to 4.25" without much consistency. So for me, I may just request a specific height, like 4.5" to insure it's higher even if they ignore the specific request.

    • Wow, triple cleavage😂
This looks wider than your ribcage.

    • 1

Have you tried narrowing the gore? In my size (40JJ) there are no options with enough center room for me that are forward facing enough. Usually narrowing the gore gives me enough room that a bra is an acceptable fit. I also found the deeper plunge to be more outward facing- the regular is much more centered and way lower where the straps meet the cup.

    • 2

Also I just love this bra. If you don’t want it or the other most recent Comexim you have I’d love to try them.

    Didn't fit

This is my first experience with the newish side support balconette that I’ve been wanting to try since it came out. Unfortunately, at 11.5 inches depth, this appears to run a full cup size small. The band, too, is a little tighter than the other 95 bands I ordered, but not so tight it’s a problem.

My overall impression is that this is a great bra if only I’d gotten a cup size up! It has the narrowest cup i’ve ever experienced in my size range at 6 inches, and the stretch lace at the top is very forgiving, so much so that i’m not even getting much quadding ... even though I can clearly see where it should be quadding.

It has plenty of room at the wire, and toward the center for us center-full gals, and I got an overlapping gore and all of this somehow means - miracle of miracles - the gore tacks even without switching wires! It’s a soft tack at the very top, but I don’t feel that it’s affecting the stability of the bra overall, so I’ll probably leave it as is.

I will be ordering this style again, and I really, really hope they make more like it! I wore it all day without issue.

Update: Comexim confirmed in email that this style always runs smaller than the other cuts.

Update #2: I reordered this in a 95K per Comexim’s advice, and that one is far too large. So, uh, order your regular size and hope for the best?

    • awesome news regarding center projection!!! Thanks for sharing!!

    • Ooh man. I don't like the fabric but your description makes me really want this bra.

    • 2

I just wish I knew for sure whether this really does run that small, or if it’s a mistake!! I suppose I could email Comexim about it..

cupandahalf they have this same cut at Wellfitting in the doggo print if you like that, though mysteriously they don’t seem to offer it in the larger cup sizes. I’m already considering emailing them to see if I can get it in my size, since Comexim itself doesn’t seem to have a problem making this style in larger sizes, and i’m absolutely crazy for the dog print.

    Hasn't set fit

After my mom tried a 80F - Comexim » Basic Plunge Bra (170) , she wanted a looser band with the same cup depth and needed a lowered cup and gore, so I ordered this bra with 2 cms taken from the cup height and gore height (requests made in English with translations to Polish as provided by r/abrathatfits). From ordering time to delivery was a little under a month. The alterations were done (~1.5 cm were taken off, which might be the max they can do for a bra this size). This bra's cup height is 15.8 cms tall (vs. 17.3 cms for the 80F). The gore height is 5.7 cms (7.3 cms for the 80F).

The band is firm, but I know from experience it will loosen up after my mom wears it for a day (might include an extender for her first wearing). It's a beautiful bra and I will send it to her shortly. I hope it fits her!

I think it's easier to get alterations only a few at a time, or for smaller orders, or at a less busy time.

    • 1

    Fits

My shape: low set, even to full on bottom, soft, and narrow short rooted. I usually wear deep 30Fs in unlined bras and 30FF in padded bras.

I did get alterations (straps moved in, overlapping gore, cookie pockets, and reduced gore height). The alterations worked wonderfully for me in this size. I feel no compression in this bra compared to the 65HH - Comexim » Gemma Half Cup that I ordered last time. I definitely needed the size up.

The looks: I originally thought this bra was off-white to pale mauve, but it's actually closer to a very pale pink, with darker pinky-mauve straps and an ... adorable little pinky-mauve rose in the center on the gore. All the colours blend well together, and the rose is very appropriate considering the light pink colour of the cups. This is a 3 part half cup with lace covering the entire bra all the way aroud the back to the clasps. I usually don't wear a lot of pink, but this bra is very feminine and I find myself reaching for it.

The band was originally on the snug side, and although it did fit me, I wear it with an extender on the first set of hooks to take some of the tension off of the clasps. See the detailed measurements - band is measured from clasp on one side to last set of hooks on other side. I pulled the band only until cups were starting to distort.

The shape it gives: Round. Not projected out in the same way that Ewa Michalak half cup bras are, but just nice and rounded. In the right size, this bra is holding things close to my body but not compressed.

Comfort: Another reason I reach for this bra is because it's SO comfortable! From day one it's been lovely to wear. I forget it's on, and I can wear it for the entire day without any discomfort. The combination of a firm band with the width of the straps is also very nice because I can adjust them looser and still have all the support I need. That means they are not cutting into my shoulders at all

    Love it all around.

Edited to add: please look at the individual measurement for this bra, as BTB has the averages up, which don't reflect the measurements I got for this bra in particular (with alterations).

    • 1

Thanks martka00 lcl0706 and Love4Pollinators ! I can't get over how comfortable it is, and because the accents and cups are all different shades I feel like they match quite a range of different coloured bottoms (I unfortunately didn't order a matching set, which I regret now!).

    • Are the cookie pockets synthetic? I loved the cotton.....

    • Love4Pollinators I think so, which is too bad because cotton is so soft. But I do have to say I don't find them irritating. I should add a picture (when I take it off again, lol!)

    • 1

Wow this is so pretty! I love the soft colour of the cups with the darker accent of the straps and center flower detail. The rose print is pretty but as I'm somewhat allergic to rose (scent gives me migraines), I'm naturally conflicted with this even though I know that it's only a print and not the real thing.

    • Calluna that's funny. I can't handle the smell of roses either (for the same reason). This is one of my best fitting bras. I think that the alterations make it fit properly on me.

My love for Comexim extends well beyond the exceptional construction and customization of their bras. I feel better supporting a company who manufactures inside their borders, and the smaller carbon footprint associated with travel from Poland vs China is compelling for this treehugger. Serendipitously, Comexim made a butterfly bra. Because I adore pollinators, it was my first choice. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> This bra I ordered with overlapping gore wires, straps moved inward, two seams, and cookie pockets. Undoubtedly, narrow gores are critical to my comfort. This gore does roll a bit to the left, but it does not sit on my tissue. Fantastic! I ... sincerely appreciate the .7" strap width: this width better distributes the weight of my breasts. The band length was surprisngly snug at 28". If you need a 30" band you will require an extender or need to size up. The cotton used for cookie pockets is some of the softest I've ever felt: unbleached, perhaps dye-free knit. Bliss. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Initially, the cups created quad boob. But, after my second short duration trial, the cup edge is stretching to allow for more upper fullness. Like Anna Pardal cuts, this bra lifts, centers, and rounds beautifully. I was certain this cut was minimizing until I wore a thin knit. Giggle. Wow. I have narrowed the wire to create more depth. This bra was 5.75" wide initially. I bent them to 5.5" and that increased the depth enough to dramatically improve my comfort. I am in love...with a butterfly bra. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

Edit: This fits one week per month. Yesterday, I ordered the 65K 3HC. I'm optimistic these two sizes are all I require for a month of comfort and support. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

Totally with you on the reasons why I love this company and butterflies, too! It looks fab on you and I wouldn't be surprised if every time you put it on your day starts off with a smile :)

    • 3

Girl. This is the best fit I've seen on you to date.

    • 4

Ooooh butterfles! Love the bra and the fit.

    • 4

I think once I sell some neglected bras I might finally try comexim

    • This looks really pretty, must nicer than the stock photos. Do you know what UK size equivalent you would say this 65J is based on how it fits?

Also when you ask Comexim for cookie pockets, do they include the "cookies" and do they charge you more for that alteration? Thanks!

    • 1

letstalkaboutbras The cookies are not included, but the E.M. cookies should fit. Free alterations!! :-) :-)

Because I have super short roots, I have not yet worn a 30GG in UK bras. 65J is "equivalent" on Bratabase to 30GG. The band is 28." The depth is 9.8". I strongly suggest using the measurements.

    • 4

DressTheTwins Oh. I don't have any EM bras or cookies. I guess I can try to find equivalents online. I have a feeling that I might be between a 65HH and 65J in Comexim 3HCs (I'm a 28G/30FF in UK sizes, often sizing up in the band because 28s hurt my ribs, but technically 30s are too stretchy, so a 65 sounds ideal). There are surprisingly few measurements on here which is why I'm super grateful for your review! I figure 65J might work with cookies if necessary, I fear gore tacking problems in a HH. You say the depth is 9.8, but Bratabase is listing 10.2 ... Also I'm not entirely sure the bras I have are perfect fits in terms of depth (I can probably handle more projection) and the ones that do fit me have very varied depths. Boobs are complicated.

    • 2

My letter phobia combined with very short roots has made this journey more complicated and expensive than I prefer. This bra has 9.8" of depth because I bent the wires. It arrived shallower and wider. The second 65J was less projected than this one. I ordered the cookie pockets hoping the cups were larger: no room for cookies. ;-) I hope the 65K has 10.2" of depth :-) :-)

Perhaps the patterns are evolving... Best of luck :-) :-)

    • DressTheTwins Hi, I'm going back on this old post to ask if you have the cup height measurement for this bra? :)

    • letstalkaboutbras It's listed in "measurements": 6.8" tall :-) :-)

    • DressTheTwins Oh, I was looking in the wrong place! Thanks. That's much taller than my 65HH which is only just short enough. I think I need to size up in the cup and now I am perplexed again! D:

    • I've noticed as bras are more immediately projected, I can tolerate more height. But, if they are shallow, I swim unless the strap is very tight. For instance, this 65J height was perfect until I tried a 60L and 65K with more height. They were not too tall despite the added height. And, I'm hoping a 65L will not be too tall, but I can use a cookie when need arises :-)

    60J

    Didn't fit

With little data available about Comexim unlined bras, I purchased both the 60HH and 60J Ivonne for "science." This is a beautiful bra!! The texture alone is impressive. Straps are fully adjustable. And, 3x3 fasteners are standard. The deep taupe color is saturated, rich, and I know this style will be my companion under white knits.

In Ewa Michalak unlined bras, I felt unsupported. The bras I tried had only 2x4 fasteners. Those of you with heavy breasts will appreciate the support of Ivonne's 3x3 fasteners. The Ewa Michalak HM, SM, and BM had too tall cups. And, when my breast tissue had enough room, I could not ... tolerate the excessively wide strap placement. But, this unlined Comexim has impressive lift, narrower strap placement, and a shorter cup. Not only are the straps attached more narrowly, but also the strap width is a supportive .7". Fellow short-rooted friends, Comexim Ivonne may be a viable option for you! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

The immediate projection is very good. Because I have not tried unlined Ewa Michalak's in a 60cm band, I can't fairly compare the 60J Comexim, 65G Ewa Michalak, or 70F Ewa Michalak. From my perspective, I recommend Ivonne for short-rooted, projected breasts. Because I have very short roots, there is a bit of wrinkling along the top edge when I slump my shoulders. However, in my typical posture, there are no wrinkles.

Compared to Panache/Cleo, you will notice there is no in-cup quadding despite the transition to an embroidered fabric. The profile is smooth and round even under a thin, stretchy knit (see the photo). Again, the band comfort and support with Ivonne is superior to what I've experienced with Panache/Cleo. The fabrics on Lucy, Lily, and Marcie seem cheap and itchy. I find Ivonne's fabric sumptuous in comparison. Finally, the straps on Ivonne are positioned more closely together than what I have experienced with Panache/Cleo, too. There are strong advantages to trying unlined Comexim bras.

This 60J has an unusually short band which stretches only to 26.5". The 60HH Ivonne stretches to 29". There is dramatic variation in band length. I'm wearing the 60J with a full extender, but the 60HH fits without an extender. This is the one disadvantage: you won't know what band length you'll receive unless you specify band length in your order. Did you read that correctly? https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> Comexim will manufacture your bra of choice to the precise band length you require. Wow. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> In previous orders, the band length varied by less than .5" in the multiple, same band length bras.

Had I been more attentive when I ordered, I would have requested overlapping gore wires. I intended to order returnable Comexims. However, after ordering, I learned 60cm bands are not returnable. I need a bit more projection or the gore width would be acceptable. I'm learning sufficient projection prevents my tissue from compressing into the gore wires. There is enough projection and support from the fabric that the cup doesn't wrinkle at the base. Good news for projected breasts!!

I thoroughly recommend Ivonne!! And, I will order again with overlapping gore wires. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

All your descriptions sound great for me, although I didn't find SM too tall on me. I wonder how the 60HH compares to their 60HH padded bras. I'd have no idea what size I am in unlined Comexims, I've never ordered because of the lack of information lol! But it's a beautiful bra. The 5.5 cup width you've put in for the 60HH is about 0.2 more than I can tolerate in even an unlined bra though. Le sigh.

    • I added the 60HH measurements, too :-) I couldn't wear the 60HH padded because of inadequate immediate projection. The unlined 60HH didn't fit, but it was a better fit than the padded 60HH. Bending the wires may work perfectly for you ;-)

    • 1

Idk. I'm shrinking in some way these days because my fit in old standard bras has changed a bit but I don't know if 9" of depth would be adequate. I'll ponder it for a while. I wonder if it would disappear under a white & thin shirt. It seems like it might be a bit too embellished for that. I desperately would like to have an unlined nude-tan-neutral for summery shirts. Can't seem to find one.

    • When the photos are approved, there is a photo of this under the most clingy, thin knit I own. It is not perfectly smooth. :-(

    • 2

We need a dislike button on here lol. I really want as inconspicuous of a nude bra as I can find. Some of my summery shirts are very very thin and flowy. it gets over 100 in the summers here with suffocating humidity, dewpoints known to reach the 80's and top Florida. Honestly, putting a cami under my lightweight breezy shirts to hide my bra defeats the purpose of a lightweight breezy shirt.

    • It is miserable in the summer here. However, last summer was the most pleasant in my memory. We were only over 100 for a few days. No camis for me either. I was moved from Montreal to here. The movers were stunned by the "It's hotter than Florida!!!" climate ;-) ;-)

    • 1

I love love love summer, don't get me wrong. I hate winter with a fiery burning passion. But yes, the bras. Oh, the bras. Must find my perfect summer bra.

    • 1

I wonder if the champange-colored EM triumph SM might work: no embroidery. Hope you find something soon! :-)

    • 2

It has that lighter colored pattern on it though. I have a feeling it'll do what the nude Marcie did. Blend in except for the white parts. All nude bra, people! It's not a hard concept!!!

    • 3

I'm also frustrated with trying to find a plain beige or even blush pink bra for summer. I have so many cute, patterned bras, but trying to find plain, not overly embellished basics in lighter fabrics is next to impossible.

    • how tall is this bra?

    • 1

6.3" following Bratabase's cup height measurement guide. :-)

    • @lc10706 have you tried Fanstasie Esme maybe 30F? I ordered a 30E from Amazon bc they didn't have the F and the width is under 5" but the depth was just at 9 or slightly shy. I could button up a shirt That normally I can't button but I don't look squashed in it. DressTheTwins - this looks lovely in you. I like the color too! Maybe I'll get brave enough to order. For the job I have next year I have to wear white buttons so "nudes" are going to be key.

    • revisa I wore RED (Comexim Eris) under a thin white t-shirt today :-) :-)

    • It does. I did a very detailed analysis and comparison of them here: https://thephotogsbrog.wordpress.com/2016/01/28/bra-science-a-direct-comparison-between-ewa-michalak-chp-comexim-3-part-half-cups/

The edge Ewa's have cups have is more center projection for those who are really center full and need that.

    • 2

Absolutely gorgeous on you! We think alike, as I've got the plunge and just recently received my half cup and there's no way I'm about to part with either of them. Love bras like this, that can look so different in the two cuts. :)

    • Thanks! and totally agree! I didn't know anyone else had it in a half cup! It's beautiful either way.

    • 1

I've been getting quite a few styles made into half cups, and I must say, Comexim never disappoints. My Jade should be here any day; can't wait for that one! It looks exactly like this Poison Ivy 3HC only the background is green and the lace overlay is black. :) In case anyone is wondering which bra that is, it's the exclusive one through Jaimie at bra obsessed. I believe there's a picture of my half cup on the bra obsessed facebook page.

    • 1

SO beautiful on you! Now I want one :).

    • 1

stunning! I had to have this one after I saw your pistures! I ordered it last week and hope I'll get a payment thing (forgot how you call it) soon! It's looks great on you! Hope it will fit me similarly!

Anya99 did you get the jade from braobsessed or from comexim? I LOVE the look of it and I'm thinking of adding it to my order :D

    • 2

      This is gorgeous!
I never really thought much about purchasing the Poison Ivy because I thought the beige would look odd with my skintone, but after seeing this I think I need it xD
      That green though *swoon*

    • 2

The green is what sells it for me! The beige does look weird with my skin tone because I am warm-skinned with yellow undertones and it is very cool, pinkish beige. But I don't care. That green is enchanting.

    • 1

BronteBeach: I ordered mine through Jaimie (bra obsessed). She showed me a picture of the Jade plunge prototype. It wasn't even sewn yet, only pinned. I had just received my 3HC Poison Ivy and LOVED the look of it, so I requested my Jade in the 3HC as well. Can't wait to get it! And don't disregard this because I'm an enabler, but I really do think you should get it! :) I thought I saw a post on here that someone had gotten a Bra Obsessed exclusive through Comexim direct. I'm sorry I can't remember who it was and I didn't know Comexim would do that, so I got mine from Jaimie. Either way, I hope you get one too. :)

    • Anya99 I look forward to seeing your Jade and Poison Ivy half cups! What size did you end up getting? I'm still trying to pin down sizing, and I know we're close...

    • 2

I like it design wise even more as a half cup and I loved it in the original form . I wish I was wealthy instead of poor lol then I could get all the pretty under things . I do think one should have the bras that have the model name as yours right ? I really would feel glamorous in a ivy bra made just for me hahaha .some day I need to get past my fear and order a comexim .

    • 3

DressTheTwins: That's it!! Thank you so much for the link. :)

Klilly3: I got the 3HC in size 60L with the straps moved in 3cm, overlapping wires and pockets (only because the fabric is so soft and luxurious; I can't ever "use" the pockets, but I get them anyway because I love the softness). I also asked if they could use more narrow wires because I always end up with too much empty space on the sides and I need it in the center, for projection, instead. They did some bras like this for me in the past (Poison Ivy was one of them) and it solved the issue; no more wasted fabric at my sides and enough room in the cup so my gore sits perfectly flat the way it should. It also helps the wires stay in my crease and follow my root closely. I just hope they remembered to use the more narrow wire on my Jade too. Hope this helps. :)

    • 1

Isn't that lace just gorgeous?! I do love Comexim's unique and creative designs. I'm looking forward even more now to getting my Poison Ivy plunge - please, oh please, let it fit me!

    • 1

This looks so pretty in the halfcup! Love how much of the lace covers the cups, compared with the plunge.

    • 1

I agree, I think it's stunning. The plunge is stunning in it's own right, but I'm a huge sucker for hunter green lace.

    Didn't fit

I was 100% certain that this bra would be total failure on me, and it is the opposite of that! I only ordered it because of the colors. Green straps! Purple! The print! I love it. Especially the style of the little green bows.

I was not sure what size to order because I hear things about people needing to size up in the half cups/down in the plunges, or if one cut works for you then another won't, etc. I ordered the same size as the half cups that have worked for me and expected it to be way too projected and the cups really tall. But, ... it the cups appear to fit perfectly!

Unfortunately the band is really big. I don't know if this model just runs big or what, but I'm a little disappointed at how big it is. I immediately put the bra on the tightest hooks. I don't know if this is a sewing error or if I would need to order a 55 band on plunges in the future. I might eventually have to alter this or get a Rixie clip, or sell it and order a new one in the smaller size for myself. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

The gore is SO low. I am not sure which of the Comexim plunges this is supposed to be similar to, I know certain models are rumored to have extra low gores, and I think this is one of them.

Other than the band, I'm really happy with this bra. The lower coverage gives a little bit less "omg boobs" under tight t-shirts than the 60E - Comexim » Sonia. The fabrics are soft and the styling is spot on.

Crazy! Did you order it directly? I would have guessed it had reduced cups and gore. It looks perfect on you though!

    • 2

Looks really good on you and makes me sad again that the plunges don't work for me. I think I would just alter the band if the tightest hook is not tight enough anymore. My Dafhne has a very soft band, but even if I thing it's going to ride up, everything keeps perfectly in place, so hopefully it's the same for you.

    • 5

This looks to be the same cut as Ginger, which is lower coverage than the standard plunges as well as slightly wider and a bit shallower.

Your pictures are a lot nicer than the stock photos. This bra is vivid! It looks dulled on the website.

    • 1

Dvrgrl812 Yes, I ordered it directly from the Comexim website, with no alterations.

    • Leilani Yes, despite its looseness, it does feel relatively secure. As soon as the elsasitic breaks in at all though, I don't know. The band is 23" unstretched and my break-the-tape is 25". I guess we'll see!

    • 2

jlcl119 Okay so apparently the Ginger and the Free Time share these cut characteristics! I wish this info was more clear. On the website they're all just "plunge". I guess I unknowingly ordered the one that is most likely to work for me!

As to the colors, I would not have ordered this if it looked like the stock photos. Someone else on here bought one and uploaded a few pics showing the true purple. The stock photos look almost periwinkle... yuck!

  17. Sonia Half Cup (406)

I love this bra! The fit is perfect and it's so pretty and comfortable.

I am more used to unlined bras, and before that, too-shallow molded foam ones. The foam lining of this one makes for OMG BOOBS in tight t-shirts. This is different from the larger size ranges of Comexim half-cups which people report as being more minimizing.

I will definitely wear it a lot with suits, button-up collared shirts, and when I have ouchy PMS boobs that need foam protection. Who knows, maybe I'll eventually come around to the "boobs" look, because this bra looks and feels really nice. I already wore it under a baggy shirt ... for some weekend errands and felt really good in it.

The coloring is more peach than pink. Compared to most of my brightly colored bras, this one will work as a nude.

Boob twins, you need this bra. Ordering from Poland is not as intimidating or expensive as one would think. In this size range, the scaling is pretty good, so there is not a big chance that a bra will be an epic fail because of a need for a ton of custom alterations.

It looks like a great fit on you. I love mine so much I ordered second one as well as another pair of panties. It's such a pretty bra and since works as a neutral it's really practical too. without being boring.

Sonia is so very pretty. I do want it, but I've been successful in not letting myself buy it. The more I see it posted on here, the weaker my resolve.

      It looks lovely on you!

    • So pretty!

    • all of your Comexim reviews make me want to go Polish. I'll have to try them out once I clear my bra drawer of my current listings...

  18. Snow Plunge Bra (286)

    75N

    Fits

This is my first Comexim bra, and I am definitely ordering more despite not a perfect fit. I special ordered it via email using the comexim.pl website email contact . I had a bit of gamble with the size , but not bad guess overall.
My snug underbust measure is 84 cm ~33" and overbust measure is ~115 cm (45") , but that really hard to measure as I have very pendulous projected breast, which kind of rather balanced not predominantly fuller on bottom nor on top. I breastfeed for 3 yr combined and they are huge and saggy.

Currently my ... best fitting UK bra is Panache tango 34K , which gives me good support, but the wires too wide and poked me underarm.( 32KK would be better, but don't exists) . Right now my best fitting bra is a 75K (34K) Ewa Michalak BM bra, which is stretchy lace. I also have relatively good fitting with 75L (34L) Ewa Michalak S bra , which is a padded balconette.

This comexim plunge 75N is padded, and the fit is comparable to my Ewa S 75L, but there are some differences:
    1. Band: The band is less stretchy than my EM S style , probably comparable to my EM Bm 75 band. Definitely closer to 32 on Panache tango than a 34.

    2. Cupsize: Bratabase sizes my 34K panache tango and my Ewa BM 75K as a :15. This is sized :14 by bratabase and yes it is slightly smaller than those, but I would not say it is a full cupsize. It also hard to tell, as this is a plunge, so more breast tissue is on display , and I am not used to that as I have not had a plunge bra for a decade. Also my boobs fluctuate a good half size through my cycle, and right now I am experiencing the bigger boob days https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

    3. Gore: the gore doesn't tack and this is not a problem for those 3 bras, and it is almost never a problem for me. However, it doesn't really bothers me. I think this is somehow related to the fact that this is a plunge and bring things out and inward and on display, and the whole gore is under the whole bra display https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

4: Straps: this is an unaltered Comexim, and I have narrow shoulders and usually feel that bra straps are too wide( all of those 3 mention bra have this issue) ,but this is not a problem here . I may would benefit moving the straps in a little bit, but not a big deal.

    5. Underwire: It definitely delivers what is promises. The wires are narrower AND shorter that any bra I ever tried on at this size range. First time ever zero poking underarm. Initially I tried Ewa bras beacuse I read their wire is narrower than UK brand , which is true , but only marginally. I check the measurements, and while some of my Ewa bra has exact same cup / wire width, they still pokes me a bit. This one doesn't because the wire like 5 cm (2") shorter than the Ewa bras wires, which mean they do not go up into my armpit.

    6. Support/ placement: I am amazed how high my boob peak is in this bra. The first time in my life my boob peak is actually coincide with the clothes breast placement. Just WOW. I have the Urkye Minimal shirt which was ok fit with my EM bras, but the button pulled a bit and I blamed the shirt, almost returned it. With this bra, those button shirt became perfect fit. This was a huge epiphany for me , as maybe some ill fitting clothes even from busty retailers were ill-fitting because the bra was not as good fit as it could have been.

7: Material/ construction/ value: I would say it is good quality bra, but not OMG so soft and beautiful. I would say the material in my Ewa bras are softer/ fancier looking, but those significantly more expensive as well. Comexim charged me for overseas shipping only 20 plz , and do not charges extra for the extreme size like mine and I was not even on the normal size chart! This bra was 120Plz+ shipping, so it come out total for $35USD. Comexim bras range from 100 Plz ( sale ) to 160 plz( longline!). Including North American shipping that is USD$30-$45, which is a bargain for this fit. Ewa charges 45 plz for shipping + charge for paypal , and even the sale bras start at 150 Plz in my size and range upto 240Plz and some extreme style even more than that. At the end of the day an Ewa bra cost me USD $50-70, which is same as ordering a UK bra from bravissimo.

Overall, I am very happy that I ordered this bra , and I am going to order another comexim right away, but probably I'll go a cupsize up and get a 75O and will try the balconette style. It is good to have a plunge bra for special occasions, but I prefer the modesty and support of the balconette style.

    Didn't fit

I was purely giddy when I was able to snag this bra secondhand, and at a killer price. It's obviously been worn some, but it's still in great shape. I adore the unique lunar pattern and it is so soft!! Very comfortable. The cups run a little taller than my other 60HH's, I think that was a common problem with Comexim's older styles especially. Still wonderfully narrow and overall an acceptable fit. Full review on my blog!

I'm sitting on the edge of my seat for your Comexim 3 part half cup and Ewa Michalak CHP comparison :-) :-) I found the Ewa CHP too narrow for me, but I'm still waiting for my first Comexim three part half cup to arrive. I passionately hope it is slightly wider than the Ewa CHP. It is very likely you will post your results before my first order arrives ;-) ;-) Thank you for your informative reviews!

    • 1

You're welcome! I hope the Comexim works for you! Honestly I find both half cups to be pretty equal in width, give or take a few cms one way or the other. I have a feeling as I really break down the bras and do tons of measurements for the comparison post, I'll find they're damn near identical.

    • 1

Your review may dramatically increase Comexim half cup sales. :-) There are several posts suggesting Comexim half cups have less immediate projection; most are two part half cups reviews.

    • 3

From my experience, Comexim 2 part half cups definitely have less projection at the wire, and also wider wires. Their 3 part half cups have more room at the wire than their plunges (but also slightly wider wires). In comparison to the Ewa CH/Ps I've tried, I see little difference except for the placement of the shoulder straps - which swings in Comexim's favor since Ewa's are always so ridiculously wide set.

    • 2

That Comexim two part Victoria I tried was one of the shallowest things I've ever tried on. It wouldn't even stay in my IMF long enough for pics, I seriously couldn't wait to get it off.

    • 1

Ooh, I'm also looking forward to your Comexim 3-part HC and EM CHP comparison! What sizes in each style do you think are equivalent or comparable?

    • 1

Oh dear, help please! Is there a place on the Comexim site that says "2-part" or "3-part"? Or is it obvious in the pictures somehow? How does one tell?? Their plunges are too shallow at the bottom for me, and I lust after Yoko & Butterfly Comexim HC's but been put off by the reviews that say they are even shallower than the plunge style. If I could understand which ones are 3-part that would be terrific!

    • You can order them in a "three part half cup." I did, but my order has not yet arrived :-)

    • 3

jennyanni look closely at the stock photos on the website. Compare Sonia half cup to... Elena for example. It should be obvious the Sonia has 2 seams and the Elena has only one. You can specifically ask for the 2 seamed (3 part) half cup pattern when you order. That's how I ordered my Elena.

voluptuousbeauties I will be comparing a Comexim 60HH (28G) and Ewa 65FF (30FF). I need the 28 band, but won't bother with custom ordering from Ewa. I'm pretty sure I'll be using my 60HH - Comexim » Elena (312) and my 65FF - Ewa Michalak » Ch Biszkopty (259) . The Biszkopty band is altered but I can't compare band lengths anyways since they're different band sizes. However, they are sister sizes so the cup volume should theoretically be the same. I'm picking these two bras from my collection because out of all the half cups I've tried from both brands, I feel these two run most true to size in the cup volume department. I plan on measuring (and taking pictures of) wire width, placement of the vertical seams, cup depth at the bottom, middle, and top, cup height both up the middle and at the strap, gore height and width, wing height, and strap placement - as in how far apart are the straps at the point they connect to the cup in front and back. I'm hoping there's a way I can try to quantify the amount of immediate projection in numbers, but at the very least I'll be able to show it in pictures and do a side-by-side fit comparison. Considering I'm extremely immediately projected, I think I'll be a fair representative for how projected at the cups are at the wire. It'll be a task but I think it'll be interesting to see if there's any variations in the cup design. Should be able to get it posted sometime this week.

    • 2

Also - since I've moved the straps in on the Biszkopty, I'll be measuring their placement from their original point. It's still clearly marked by the original seams lol.

    • 4

Wow your blog post sounds like it'll be extremely detailed! I'd have no idea how to go about measuring immediate projection but I think a side-by-side fit comparison with profile shots would be more than adequate. Thanks for doing all this, I'll definitely keep an eye out for your post!

    80HH

    Fits

I ordered this custom as a regular plunge, rather than the longline. I also ordered this with straps taken in 2cm, and cups reduced 1cm. At first glance, this bra is modeled after 36GG - Anna Pardal For Comexim » Hibiscus , but I actually found this to fit much better. The cups are typical Comexim plunge, but with the added sophisticated touch at the top of the cup.

Size-wise, the band is definitely tighter, which I've found universally true for black bands on Comexim bras, and the cups are TTS, borderline small. Like most Comexim, the bra is much better in person than online. Of ... the bunch of new Comexims I ordered, this is the best fitting one.

Stands to be said, I can't recommend enough ordering with Jaimie from braobsessed! She is knowledgeable, caring, and quick to respond. There is a slight upcharge for Comexim bras, but the pay-off is being able to return bras, even those that are custom, and I was able to have them ordered to my front door without worry of a needed signature. I will def order from her again.

    • Im waiting for the short version as well ! hope it will work forme:)

    • martka00 , glad I'm not the only one not going for longlines! I love the look of them, and on other people, but my ribs flare out too much, so it'd be such a pain to get the right fit with a firmer Polish band. Thank goodness Comexim is so willing to customize their bras. :D I hope Rose works for you! I'm wearing mine now, and the fit is so spot on -- firm, but very comfy. And, of course, the print is beautiful.

    • ginganinja I would love to try long lines but I have office work which requires a lot of siting and working with computer so wearing longline I guess may be bit uncomfortable. But I really hope that it will fit me as they promised to fix it for me as normal 70f is too wide on the sides
And also I love the print of it !!!
