This is a favorite bra of mine! The band is a touch bigger than true to size, at least in the bra that I received. Many 26 bands are a little too tight to be comfortable but this one is just right on me. If you are between sizes or prefer tighter bands, size down.
As others have said, the overlay fabric is brilliant blue and the print is interesting. I frequently wear this bra instead of a solid black one.
Excellent shape, uplift, and comfort from Comexim!
The blue on this bra is sooo much more vibrant and prettier than the photos online (I'll try to post photos soon). I love it! The band is very snug yet comfortable. The cups seem a bit lower than many of my other Comexims. I didn't request reduced cups so maybe it's just this way with the Mirage? My old Arizona feels this way too (Though I think my old Arizona might have a tiny bit more depth). Although they are a tiny bit lower the cups still fit me perfectly. There is no quadding and I don't feel like I'm going to fall out. The seams on ...this bra also don't show through clothing very much. I'm wearing a tight cotton/spandex dress at the moment and I can't see the seems at all (though there is a pattern on the dress which might be disguising the seems a bit too). This is going to be a great everyday bra for me!
UPDATE - After wearing this bra 3 times I'm not sure that I love it. The band is much stretchier than my other Comexims and the cups are so low that my nipples threaten to pop out. I can't figure out whey this 75F fits me this way when all I've ever owned are Comexim bras in a 75F (and I've owned at least 10 different styles!). Debating keeping this bra or selling it. I may give it one more try and then see. Read more 142 more words
This was my first Comexim bra purchase and tbh I was not impressed. The pattern was cute but that was the only thing I liked about it. The fabric was scratchy and a lower quality than I expected based on the Comexim love I've read about. The band seemed excessively stretchy and the cup width was unusually wide. I tried it on several times so maybe I unknowingly stretched it somehow but it was funky. The bra was totally too small so I can't evaluate the fit.
At the time I didn't understand Comexim sizing but I've learned a lot this past year. Hopefully next time I will be a little closer to the right size.
i normally wear a 70F in comexim plunges. i have a 70G with reduced cups and straps moved in, and it also fits. since prior owner said this had lowered cups, i thought it COULD be a sister size. but... cups are too big for me. space at the top of the cup, right near the gore/center area. i will have to pass this one on, sadly...
The cup fabric isn't quite what I expected. Online photos are more subdued, this fabric has a bit more going on. Bag round fabric is a dark blue, but there is a swirl design overlay that is brighter in person than what you see in online photos. Black band, runs firm but will stretch more after the wires begin to distort. Straps, black, fully adjustable and no stretchy. Bra finishes with some pretty and basi black bows.
I cannot say enough good things about Comexim, and the amazing bras the brand makes. While I appreciate the unparalleled support Ewa Michalak bras provide, their stiffer fabrics and wires often leave my sensitive skin, particular closer to my arm pit and where the wire ends, irritated by the end of the day. I've never had that issue with Comexim, though. I generally, in some way, notice my bra throughout the day, but Comexim bras are the only ones that I actually forget I'm wearing.
As far as fit and sizing go, after some experimentation with sizes and customizations, I believe a 75J with the standard gore is ...my best fit based on my current size. I initially tried this bra in a 75J, but the band was extremely tight, as it's double-lined, even with an extender. The 80HH in this model has perfect cups, but the band is a bit looser than I'd like considering it's a new bra. I can wear it fine now on the second or third in row of hooks (out of four), but past experience tells me Comexim bands tend to stretch considerably with wear, so I'd rather the band be tighter and wear an extender for a bit. I may also just be in between their band sizes, which is very likely, as I fluctuate between a 32 and 34 band based on the brand and band tightness. My current size is 32H/34GG, and this bra feels like the equivalent of a 34GG.
The cups are incredible. The fabric is extremely soft yet supportive. The shape is exactly what I want in a bra -- projected and round, yet held close to my body. I prefer to keep the perfected EM 'up to my chin effect' for special occasions, rather than everyday office wear. And the looks of this bra are incredibly unique. For whatever reason, I've noticed the bras in their fabrics are brighter and more jewel toned than any other brand I've owned. If you have the patience to deal with slow communication and shipping from Poland, Comexim is definitely a brand worth trying. Read more 244 more words
