I was purely giddy when I was able to snag this bra secondhand, and at a killer price. It's obviously been worn some, but it's still in great shape. I adore the unique lunar pattern and it is so soft!! Very comfortable. The cups run a little taller than my other 60HH's, I think that was a common problem with Comexim's older styles especially. Still wonderfully narrow and overall an acceptable fit. Full review on my blog!
It's a bra with the moon on it. How really awesome!
So I bought this bra from a boutique all the way on the other side of the country (thanks kerniss!). $55 (+ $5 shipping) for a 60F that I figured wouldn't fit (given my try on of a 60F Ingrid). But you know what? This actually isn't terrible. As long as I don't totally swoop and scoop. If I press the gore down I do quad out and if I bend and shake, my left side comes out, cleavage like whoa though. Falling out is typically a deal breaker for me, but I was going to ...make an exception for the moon (how could I not? This bra controls the tides!). Turns out I don't have to since a kind user sold me her 60H. I'll admit, even having a better fitting one, I'm still tempted to keep this. If I shrink, I'll never be able to replace it. But cooler heads prevail, and I've not actually shrunk in about 3 years or so despite intentional weight fluctuations. So, I guess I won't be greedy. Anyway, this is probably the softest bra in the world. It's made of clouds, no kidding. I have a few Comexims now and a lot of really nice and comfortable bras. This one is the softest ever, Victoria's Secret soft. I feel like this particular model runs a little bit bigger. I'm in a 65G/60H in Comexim and I could have pulled this off. The wires on the sides are a hairs breadth from sitting on tissue, but I wasn't collapsing the cup. Though I may have if I actually wore it for any amount of time. This is just under the 5x8-8.5 cup dimension I like in a lined bra, so 60F.5ish? If you can find one in a size that you can make work, do it. It's really unique and so comfortable. This is the coolest bra ever, I mean it's the moon!
So, I pretty thoroughly reviewed the awesomeness of the Luna in a 60F, so I'll keep this a little shorter. This one was sold to me by another user, so it's been worn and washed. It's still the softest bra in the world! So, that's nice. The fit on this is pretty perfect, wires are a great width, cup depth is perfect, straps and band are all comfortable. I have absolutely no complaints except that my gore doesn't tack :/ At this point I have four Comexims, Two tack, two don't. Despite the lack of contact, it doesn't seem to ...have any sort of impact on support or comfort. I do not quad when I push it in and it does not tack if I use an extender. So, it's not me and it's not the bra, and I don't care https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
Undies are a size S for my 38" bum and 31" hip bones. They're a cute little hipster/boyshort cut that shows quite a bit of cheek on me. So, they're more like a cheeky on me though I think they're designed for more coverage. Anyway, they don't dig in anywhere, even across the bum, and they're just as soft as the bra. No alterations, and surprisingly awesome! It's so SO soft. Unbelievably soft. The softest Comexim I've tried. Surprisingly, less quadding than I got in the 60HH's with reduced cups. What is this place? I love it!
Note: though this doesn't alter the measurements of the bra in any way tracked by bratabase, this bra does have reduced cups, or, in other words, it was ordered with lower cup height near the straps. Otherwise the cups on comexim bras are too tall for me-- and how much do I love that you can customize the bra when you order?!
Another beautiful bra from Comexim. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I loved that it was a moon-surface print bra, and knew that I'd regret it if I didn't buy it (probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity), and absolutely no regets. You get a very good feel for ...the appearance of this bra from the Comexim pictures, once again. The color is right on, so is the styling. The only thing difficult to see in their pictures is the central gore bow-- as always, Comexim bras have different styles of bow from one to another-- this bow has a medium-to-dark, neutral gray ribbon, straight across, with double loops on either side. Hard to describe, but I included a picture, too-- it's simple and elegant. This bra is well constructed, and the pattern is very cool, in shades of gray that mimic the patterns seen on the surface of the moon. The lace at the top of the cups is scalloped and floral in theme.. The straps are white, slightly less wide than the straps on the Nadin, and comfortableThe moon print is continued on the outside band, and the insides of the cups and band are lined with white fabric.
The wires of the cups, as with all Comexim bras are narrow, with a narrow center gore-- this works very well for me, as my breasts are deep and I have a pretty small frame. The shape of the bra works with center-full breasts-- but definitely expect a lot of cleavage if you have deep breasts with a narrow gore-- this bra looks amazing on (IMO) and is a definite mood boost, but it brings all that you have front and center. Despite the potential for cleavage, it can be worn with a v-neck without cleavage with strategic positioning if the v-neck isn't too deep-- I still can have a gap in between my breasts (compared to the Deco, where the cup shape doesn't hold my (soft) breasts inside the cup, so my breasts spill toward the center and leave no room in between), which makes it easier to wear this bra in a work appropriate fashion.
Sizing: 65K (with reduced cups) would fit well on a 28HH or a 30H in my opinion. The band is slightly tight (29.5 inches), but nearly true-to-size-- I can wear it without an extender, but it feels uncomfortably tight after a few hours so I will wear it with one for now. I need to update my measurements in bratabase, but I'm not going to do so now. As of this review, I'm about a 30H-- I think my breasts might shrink back to my previous size, though (I hope!); this bra will be a bit large but still wearable (with tighter straps/ less cleavage), especially during times when my breasts are more full due to my cycle. My current best fitting bras are: this one; Cleo Lily in 32G; Panache Sport in 30GG; Freya Hello Dolly in 30H.
Ahhh, Luna. So glad I was able to get my boobs into this! It is softer in the band and cups than I'd really like (I tend to dislike bouncing when I walk at normal speed), but that's both a Comexim reality and this bra's 'pre-owned' nature, I'd say. There is great, natural cleavage here; the gore is quite low (plunge) and my breasts normally touch a bit anyway. Gorgeous round boobs-forward shape that looks amazing under any shirt. Smooth edges and moon pattern doesn't show. Comfortable for most of the day, but fits better when my breasts are a smidge less heavy, in truth. (If I ever found one in a 70K I'd pay handsomely for it!)
this bra is SOOOOOOOOOOO soft! the fabric itself is super soft cotton and almost silky feeling. its a perfect fit for me & i'm so glad i found this bra in a size that fits!!! will be wearing this as part of regular rotation for sure! I wore this for a full day and forgot I had it on & nearly went to bed with it on. Sooooooooo comfortable!!!!!!
I so wish this fit me, but alas, the cups are just too tall. There's so much empty space at the top that it might as well be one of those full coverage bras that always fit awfully on me, and as usual with Comexim plunges, I get gaping near the gore. It sometimes pokes me painfully under my arms too because the wires come up so high on me.
Fit issues aside, Luna is a beautiful bra. I really appreciate the uniqueness of the moon print and the wavy white lace. Its condition is still excellent even though it has had at least two previous owners.
I would love to own this bra in a smaller size (maybe 60H or even G), but since it was discontinued so long ago I highly doubt I'll ever find one.
Part of my first Comexim experience, pre-owned. Band and cup volume seem about right, but I'm not sure I play well with their padded plunge-y shape (which seems to be their main offering). I'll have to do more research and maybe try either an unlined or demi from them next. The craftsmanship, however, is excellent and the materials quite soft. Plus the design is super cool!
