    Fits

I love the look of Ingrid. I don't find this bra fits much differently from other Comexim 60K plunges, except the cups are a bit taller and deeper. For a non-customized Comexim, the fit is pretty good. Cups are taller than I need and the straps are wider placed, but not too bad. I have the matching panties in a size Small and they are really comfy.

    Didn't fit

Ingrid is a beautiful bra, and I personally love the design and fabrics used. However, in terms of construction, this bra just seems totally off. There is not much immediate projection at all, but enough at the apex. The cups are way too tall on this particular bra. I'm not sure if this is an issue with this bra, how it was manufactured, this model or something else, but it skews the feel of a bra that I think would otherwise be an alright fit. Because of the lack of immediate projection and the gore being a tad too wide for me personally (I think I need overlapping ... wires or something) the bra just overall feels shallow. The support from the band feels good, and I love that about the bra. It's nice and snug, but I feel that the straps are pulled outward making the cup feel not great. The straps dig into my arm pits and I feel like they really would benefit from being moved inwards an inch. I think this bra would only be wearable for me if I can get the cups shortened and the straps moved in.

    Didn't fit

Ohhh I’m so sad 😭 I was so excited for my 60HH Comexim Ingrid but the cup is way too small! Seems funny because my 65HH was too big. It’s such a GORGEOUS bra I think I’ll bother Comexim’s customer service for the second time and exchange it again for a 60J. I’m hoping that the 60J Basic Plunge that’s coming in the mail won’t also be too small, since that model apparently runs small. I know I shouldn’t, but I feel bad that I have to make them go through the hassle of exchanging the same bra twice!

I won’t post a formal fit request since only the cup is too small, but I’m hoping my next (60J) guess for the Ingrid will be right this time. Fingers crossed!

    • Maybe there’s something the pictures aren’t capturing, but this actually looks pretty good to me!

    • Sheena oh yeah sorry, I accidentally put the first pic I took as the main one, and I hadn’t scooped and swooped as much as possible in that. I’m gonna go back and delete the ones where I half-assed my scoop & swoop when I get on my laptop! Check the main pic now, it shows the quadboob better.

    • 1

Oh poop. That's a pain. I hope the plunge fits

    • 1

Yikes. I am so sorry to hear it didn’t work. It sounds like you are on the right path.

    • Calluna thanks! Apparently the Ingrid gets really tall in the cup above HH, so I’m wondering if I should ask to have the 60J cup height reduced 2cm. I feel like if the 60J doesn’t work then this bra just won’t work, but I want to keep the closest fit, so maybe having it altered to get the best possible fit would be worth it even though that means it would be nonreturnable? I’d also get the straps moved in while I was at it since I have narrow shoulders.

    • Reduced cups might also reduce the volume, from what I have heard. I’d suggest looking at the 60Ks that Sonya and rachaelll have and compare the measurements to the 60HH Ingrid. I think both of them have listings which have various alterations. Alternatively, if you are concerned about the potential cup height of 60J, and considering alterations, maybe ask them to make it a 3HC? You can also see the measurements on my 65J, bearing in mind that mine has straps moved in and more depth at the wire.

    • Alterations seem to add about a cup size or so, so if you get shorter cups and straps moved in, you might want to order a 60K.

    • Sonya I feel like I need a degree in advanced differential equations to find my size in this! What I plan to do currently is wait for my 60J basic plunge to arrive, then go off of how that fits me knowing that the plunge runs small in the cup.

...and this is why I gave up on Comexim...I like to use my math skills for everything BUT my bra buying.
      Good luck :)

    • 1

FWIW, I just looked at the 65HH Jade that I borrowed from Sonya and the 65J Ingrid I swapped one of my bras with her for, and in my experience, the Ingrid cup height is marginally higher (6.9 vs 6.8) if that helps any. Both Comexim plunges are slightly taller than the Ewa plunges, unaltered (you can see the comparison in my Jade pictures). I have yet to order an altered Comexim plunge yet. Too scared!

    • They have this for under $20 at break out bras right now. Might be worth checking out

    • FitterSweet thanks! I do think I’m gonna wait on my 60J Basic Plunge for the size reference. I also heard Breakout Bras uses VERY different sizing than ordering straight from Comexim and I’m confused enough with just this already!

    • 1

And it’s final sale with Breakout Bras for this one. Assuming that it’s available in the desired size.

    Hasn't set fit

Soft fabric with foam cups. Wires seem to fit a little wider than most Comexim bras. Bought this in a 65G/30G, but the cups fit more like a large E/small F. This style of bra would be good for someone with more immediate projection with even or center-full breasts and shorter roots. Unfortunately this bra was a case of correct volume/wrong shape for me. Wouldn’t recommend to someone with wide roots and shallow projection.

  7. Ingrid in 28KK
The Ingrid is a padded plunge bra in a floral cream pattern. I fondly refer to it as the “old lady pattern” because it reminds me of the pattern of furniture in my grandparent’s home when growing up. This particular Ingrid came from Breakout Bras.

The band measures 22” to 30.5” max stretch, and came standard with 3 hooks and 4 rows of eyes.

Cup depth was 12.25” as measured by hovering the cup between the knees and placing the tape measure into the cup without any resistance, to a max of 14” stretched over the knee.

The Straps are a bit too wide set for my comfort, and the curve of the cup sides are too high for my arms, which isn’t usually an issue with my Comexim bras. The quality of this one was poor compared to all the bras I’ve gotten from Comexim direct.

I love this bra. I got it through here, and wanted it a little small for the added cleavage, and it definitely does that. The shape is really attractive. It lifts my bust and gives a nice amount of projection. The band is stretchy and comfortable, and the straps are completely adjustable. This one has 3 hooks, and I can't imagine at my size or bigger getting it with just 2. The fabric is a little more dull than I expected, but it's still gorgeous.

This bra is very pretty and comfortable. I got it second hand with modifications. I like having the straps moved in. My armpits really appreciate this. The cups still seem tall- I'm not sure they were actually reduced... I'm also not sure if the extra room at the wire was done, but it does have more immediate projection than my other Comexim plunges, so I think it was. I need to wear it on the tightest hooks since it is a 65, but it has 4 rows of 3 hooks, so that is nice. The straps are soft and substantial- very comfy. It feels pretty supportive and gives a nice round shape through clothes. My breasts are short and narrow-rooted, soft, pendulous, bottom and centre full.

Altered straps, * Reduced cup height * Straps moved in 2cm * 3cm deeper cups especially at the bottom of the cups, near the wires

    Didn't fit

The cups do run a bit small (somewhere between 1 and 2 cups smaller than their size chart suggests), and the band was a bit tighter than I was expecting, but... she's so beautiful. I have rather tall roots (although it's mostly shallow "stealth boob" that doesn't show up until I put on a bra), so, even though I sized up a cup size, a 60F was a bit too short in the cups, as well as being a little tight in the band. Okay, it was uncomfortably tight in the band; I have a 28.5" underbust and absolutely should have just gone with a 65 (a 70 ... would definitely be too big, though). I think a 65F would be perfect. The straps are fully adjustable, and I requested that they be moved in for my narrow shoulders. The wires seem narrower than average, but maybe it's just the fact that they're so close together in the center gore that makes them seem narrow? They're nearly touching, which is apparently pretty great for cleavage. The seams/lace detail/bows do show slightly under tight, thin shirts. I wouldn't say it's padded, but there's enough of a lining to hide the fact that I do, in fact, have nipples. As for shape, it's round without being unnatural-looking, with quite a bit of lift. To me, the cups seem neither shallow nor projected, but this is the first bra I have ever worn that I could even pretend fits, so I don't have much to compare it to. As far as longevity goes, I wore this bra several times a week until I outgrew it about a year after buying it, and the wires aren't doing anything weird or painful, it seems to have kept its shape well, and the band is still uncomfortably tight, although perhaps a little less so than when I first bought it. I still have to use the loosest hook.
