Comexim Geisha plunge set size 55J which equates UK 26GG and EM PL 55H + M knickers which equates UK 8/10. The following 3 photos feature my custom made bra in a 55 band featuring reduced cups. This is an exquisitely constructed bra with the finest attention to detail. This stunning style is comprised of a lightly padded plunge cut in the lower cup style. The wires are the narrowest that I have ever encountered whilst the cups are deep and feel completely weightless regardless of the light padding. This style features a beige knitted cotton fabric lining the interior of the cups, whilst the exterior is covered ...in a delicate black lace overlay featuring pale pink embroidery and a floral pattern whilst the upper edges of the cups are covered in black lace. The detailing is flat and not visible beneath a blouse. The straps are fully adjustable and the band features 2 hooks.
I should clarify that Comexim do not currently have size labels available for this custom size. Therefore Anna, the company owner, always uses a size tag printed for another order and carefully hand prints the "55J" size on the tag. I can confirm that all of my orders in size 55J are consistently presented in this manner. I am enormously pleased to find a company whom is willing to provide 55 bands upon request!
The cup width measures 13cm from tip to tip of the underwire. The cup depth measures 23cm inside of the cup, from each end of the underwire across the deepest line of the cup. I have measured the band as follows. Unstretched in a resting position from clasp to clasp measures exactly 48cm. Fully stretched to the maximum length from clasp to clasp measures exactly 66cm. It would be ideal for you to compare these measurements against one of your newer best fitting bras, as this will be the best method in determining if this will be a good fit for you. Many here was talking about Comexim here so I was curious to try one. I love the design of this bra: it make me think of Japan. I am technically a 26 band so I ordered a 55G. The band is a bit small for my confort but with an extender it is OK. The cups are also a bit small but still wearable. Because it was a custom order I couldn't return it. If I order from Comexim an other time I don't know which size I will choose.
I am usually in between 60H and 60HH in Comexim, and this fits great, so I'd say it runs slightly small. It's a gorgeous, comfortable bra with a tight band. It also has more immediate projection than some of their other plunges, so yay!
One of my everyday, always in rotation bras. Compared to my Comexim Basic, the band is much tighter and firmer; I've had them for almost the same amount of time/wear them both about twice per week, and while my Basic has stretched and I find myself pretty consistently tightening the straps, the Geisha has not budged--I'm still on the first set of hooks, and I like/need a tight band! The gore tacks fully, the cups are narrow, there is not extra fabric at the top of the cup to cause gaping, and they don't irritate my armpit at all. Another Polish success!
I love this bra so much. The band is comfy on basically all of the hooks depending on how snug I want it a particular day, although it's quite firm. It doesn't have much stretch at all, so sometimes the bottom right-side elastic of the band will dig into me by the end of the day, but it's not bad enough that it makes me chafe or bleed. The wires are a perfect width for me, and the cups are a perfect depth and height (thanks to the lowered cup alteration). The gore soft tacks on me, which I'm not concerned with because it doesn't affect how supported ...I feel in this bra. The straps are a good width/placement on me (they may have been moved in, but the previous owner can't remember for sure). The straps are also fully removable, which I don't think I've seen in a Comexim bra before, so that might've been a requested alteration as well. The design of this bra is also lovely, with the black mesh overlay over the beige base (nude for me) and the oriental-inspired flowers. It gives me a great shape and the cups and gore are low enough that it doesn't show even under the lowest v-neck tops and dresses. Read more 103 more words
This bra's measurements have been altered
Lowered cup height, possibly lowered gore and moved in straps
This was a surprise https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> I ordered a 65K 3HC because I require shorter cups than Comexim plunges typically provide. However, Comexim sent the plunge instead. This plunge arrived with overlapping gore, cookie pockets, cup height reduced 1cm, reduced gore height, and straps moved inward.
This is the third size in Geisha plunge I have worn, but the first Geisha plunge with a reduced gore. The reduced gore dramatically improved the fit for my very short breasts. In the 65K Eris plunge, I could land a Boeing 747 airplane in the top of the cup. In this 65K Geisha plunge, I can ...park a little Volkswagen Beetle. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> The 65K Eris plunge required I remove the transverse section across the top of each cup. Conversely, the reduced gore height and 1cm reduced cup height improved the fit of 65K Geisha enough I would not need to alter it.
The cup width of this 65K Geisha is .1" smaller than 65K Eris because the intended owner ordered this with a narrower wire. This causes two fit issues for me: my tissue is forced into the gore and compressed. Ouch. If this were slighly wider with the same depth, I would contentedly wear it. If I bent the wires a bit wider, it would shallow the cup. I didn't have enough immediate projection to "share" with the cup width. 65K Eris is 100% comfortable, but 65K Geisha is not comfortable because of its slightly narrower cup. I hope this narrower wire is perfect for its intended owner https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
I'm thankful for this order fulfillment error. I had previously decided I could not wear Comexim plunges. But, ordering reduced gore height and reduced cup height may create the "perfect plunge" for my short, projected breasts. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> Read more 214 more words
Well, this bra was definitely a surprise. After being almost happy with my Comexim Irish Coffee, I wanted to try one cup size bigger since the Irish Coffee doesn't sit quite flat against my sternum. Enter the Geisha. Hooo boy, the cups are like, huge! I had to check both the above-mentioned bras to be certain that it's really a 70N. It is. Second, the band is seriously much tighter than the Irish Coffee's band, and with that I mean it has no give whatsoever and feels too tight on me unless I've been living on lettuce for three weeks straight up. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" .../> So let's just say it's too tight for me. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> But weirdly, it fits. My boobs feel at home in the cups and the center gore sits flat. Unless I move about a lot and play a contortionist, the band keeps the bra exactly at an optimal place on my rib cage, giving me a to-die-for silhouette under a shirt. (And a nice cleavage, too.) So I live in hope the band would stretch a tiny bit since I can't live without my weekly dose of Häagen-Dasz. Read more 94 more words
