    Fits

TL; DR — This is a great bra once you get the sizing figured out! Go down one band and up about 3 cups, and you’ll get a flattering, rounded shape. The gray and pink are beautiful as well.
    ———————-

Onyks is a really pretty bra! The band and strap color is a medium-dark gray, and the cups are gray combined with pink in the mesh and embroidery, as well as white embroidery. The mesh and embroidery are not very thick or stiff, and I haven’t noticed issues with visibility underneath clothing.

The fabric is lightweight, but the seaming provides good support and uplift. The band is very stretchy. The ... overall shape of the wire is very similar to Ewa Michalak BM bras, but those are firm and run small in the band, whereas this one runs big. If you have a narrow, projected shape and find the BM wires or band to be too firm, then the Onyks might be a good bra to try. I like both styles, but the Onyks has a more lightweight feel to its fabrics, elastics, and wires than the BM. Onyks does not have stretch lace on top of the cup so keep that in mind when deciding what size to buy.

As with most people trying Comexim, I’ve tried a few styles and sizes. When buying from Breakout Bras in the US, they convert to UK sizing and then suggest that you buy 1-2 cups larger than your normal size. With my 34GG - Comexim » Whimsy Floral (CMWHIMSY), that worked well, but I’ve noticed that at certain times of the month, I get quadding on the larger side. So I wanted to try one cup larger (UK 34H / Comexim 75K) this time. Additionally, BoB’s website advises that the band on the Onyks bra is very stretchy, and they recommend sizing down in the band. So I ended up ordering this bra in 32HH (which Bratabase converted to 70L). If I were to order this bra directly from Comexim, I would probably stick with 70L and ask to have the straps moved in just a hair, maybe 1.5 cm.

Definitely a good bra to try if you are the right shape and want to try a 3HC without the padding.

Great, I ordered this bra like 3 days before your post (from Breakout Bras)

I actually went down one band size, but now I'm thinking I didn't go up enough cups, haha, we'll see.

      Looks great on you though!

    • 1

I love this bra! I have been eyeing it for a long time but I am worried about the sizing. I have an exchange to do a BB and I think I’ll exchange for this! Thanks for reviewing!

    • 1

BraOdyssey, I hope it works out for you! Comexim sizing can be so tricky. And thanks for the compliment!

damaries, you’re welcome. I hope it works for you as well.

    Fits

Wow, is this bra a stunner, or what?!

As many of my regular followers know, I’ve lost a significant amount of weight this year, and it’s affected my boobs. I’ve lost 2-3” off of my over bust measurement, so I’ve got a very limited amount of bras that fit, or sort of fit me now. My faves are Comexim and Ewa Michalak, and while I feel pretty comfortable with what size I can do in EM, not so much with Comexim, especially as most of my bras are altered. My birthday was in August, so I decided to use my discount with Breakout Bras and order an unaltered bra ... in a size smaller than I’d been wearing. I knew that my 70H - Comexim » Triss 3hc was once a titch too small, and now it’s a little bit too big, and my 65HH - Comexim » Scottie (648) was also fitting a little bit too big now, so I was thinking about trying 65H or 70G unaltered to gage the fit, because I really want to reorder my Hot Chocolate in a new size to wear. The problem was that most of the bras in the same cut had backorders on the sizes that I was interested in. This one, however, was in my size, and ready to ship with no waiting. It’s one that I have loved from the moment I saw it on Instagram. It’s also very similar to the 65HH - Comexim » Bridget Half Cup (554) that I was able to try a while ago. So I grabbed it!

    My stats, currently:

    28.5” snug
    34.75-35” standing
    38” leaning

    9” vertical
    9.5” horizontal
    10” laying
(As of April, though it’s probably less now)

My tissue is very very soft. Like pudding. I’m technically even, however because I have less upper fullness than I used to (which was still shallow), I fit more fob functionally. I’m also short rooted as a result, and center full. I need narrow wires, and immediate depth at the wire to accommodate my projection.

    The details:

This bra is an unlined, 3 part half cup. The colourway is called Dove Brocade on the website, and it’s mostly a dove grey base, with pinky purple and white stitching. I think it’s kind of a flower pattern but, it’s a little whimsical, and I don’t know for sure what it is. The bow at the center is the same pinky purple, and the inside of the cups is lined with the same colour mesh.

    The fit:

So, the advice of the website said that the band was stretchy, so to size down if in between two sizes. The sentiment was also echoed here in the reviews. I was nervous about the size as I had also read that the cup size was running small. The previous unlined half cup was a 65HH though, so I suspected that it would be too large now. I normally take a 65/30 if it is a stretchy band or it’s got the extra set of hooks, or a 70 because they tend to fit tighter and more like a 30 than a 32. Due to the comments on the band, I opted for the 30, and almost a 28. I have to agree that the band is super stretchy. I’m actually wondering if I do need a 28. I feel comfortable in it, though once I tightened up my straps some, I felt like it wanted to make the band ride up. Loosely pulling with it on the loosest hooks, I can get 2 fingers underneath, comfortably...but, I can stretch it more and get my hand in. I readjusted the band position, and I don’t think it will move. I’m concerned that if I do size down, that it will wear out faster. As for the fit of the cups, I initially thought it was maybe too big still, or too tall, though I adjusted the straps a bit tighter than they were as they came, which helped. My small side is still gapping but, it’s ok on my big side, and I don’t think I can get away with a smaller size. The cups are lined with a little strip of clear elastic, which is usually a problem for me but, it seems ok here. Normally, I would have straps moved in 2cm but, I don’t know if it’s possible on this kind of bra, and like I said, I wanted to try totally unaltered to see what it was like (and BOB only sell unaltered unless you request alterations through them).

Anyway, I love this bra! I’m so happy with it! The only thing is whether I should swap it out with a 28G for a bit of a snugger band. I’ve messaged customer service about this and included a few videos for a fit check.

This bra is gorgeous on you!
Thanks for the review and sizing info. Glad the cups worked out for you. Hopefully the band is okay for you, or BOB will have some good advice on that.
As far as I know, Comexim does not do alterations on their unlined bras, I don’t think?

    • 1

Love this on you! It’s one of my prettiest Comexim bras I own. You also can’t beat the comfort of a Comexim!

    • Thanks. BoB suggest the size down in the band.

    • 1

      Here’s the response from BoB:

It seems like you'd get a more secure fit, as well as better boost into the upper cups if you do the 28G UK size instead. The fact that you tightened the straps (which gave you a better hug along the upper bust) but it caused the band to scoot up a bit already and you had to tug it back into place is usually a pretty clear indicator that you'll want the smaller band size for longer wear and to maintain good support as the bra's elastic stretches over time with wear.

The snugger band will also hug the entire bra more firmly, pulling the cup fabric more taut to the bust and boost your tissue a bit more firmly into the upper cups. If the band is a little snug for comfort in the very beginning, but you're liking the fit overall, then you can always add a bra-back extender until it 'breaks in' and gets a little more comfortable and molded to your body with a few wears.

I hope this helps you decide what you prefer for the fit of Onyks!

*I did readjust the band but it did seem to stay in place when I lifted my arms, so I’m not sure. I’m thinking maybe I will try the 28G. I’d like to research the stretched band lengths of the 60s here.

    • 1

Calluna Veru pretty on you! I think BoB made a few good points about sizing down. If it would still be comfortable on you, you'd probably get a much better fit in the 28G. The only thing, of course, if your rib sensitivity to consider...would you actually get as much wear out of it if it was on the tighter side?

    • 1

The bra looks beautiful on you! As always, thanks for the highly detailed review that puts everyone else's to shame :)

    • 1

Wilderness1 yes, my rib sensitivity is a concern for sure if I size down. It looks like the stretched band measurements of the 60s here are just under 29”, which is just shy of what I prefer (29-30”) so I’d probably have to use an extender for the first little bit but, given that it is super stretchy, it might be ok.

marilynne I try to be thorough, especially with descriptions, in case of any visually impaired people reading who are unable to see the bra.

    • 2

Hey everyone... at the suggestion of the BoB customer service, I went ahead and ordered the 28G, as it was the last one. I’ll be able to try both and return the one I don’t want. It’s already on the way!

    • 1

Calluna good luck! Looking forward to hearing how it fits comparatively

    • I’m expecting the 28G to arrive by the end of the week. Canada Post says to expect it Friday, but I did get the 30FF earlier than expected. That said, it’s Thanksgiving for us today, so Friday might be accurate. I’ll definitely update once I have it.

    • My 28G is here and I have a new set of pictures and review.

    Didn't fit

This bra is so beautiful in person! It’s a lovely smoky grey with delicate baby pink and white embroidery. The fabric is soft and not itchy. The cups are a three part, vertical seem cup with two layers of fabric. The inside of the cup is a monotone mesh with the outer fabric an embroidered mesh. The center gore, as well as the rocker of the bra consists of the same embroidered fabric with a small pink bow on the gore. The straps are a dark gray that coordinates with the gray mesh back band. The band on this bra is extremely stretchy! I definitely suggest sizing down. ... Even on the tightest set of hooks the bra felt loose, so the life of the bra wouldn’t last long. The back band had a 3x4 closure. Also be warned that the hardware that connects the straps to the back of the band squeak! The fit in the cup ran small for me, so I will be exchanging for a smaller band, bigger cup to see if I can get a better fit. This bra is just too beautiful to give up on.

    Matching panties in size Medium:
The front of the panties has a double layer of dark gray mesh, with a single layer of embroidered fabric next to it. The front portion of the hip area is a single layer of dark gray mesh. The back of the panties is also a single layer of the dark gray mesh. The crotch ha a black cotton fabric gusset. All elastic is dark gray.

That's really pretty. I hadn't seen it before now, but that's probably because I'm in Canada and only order direct from Comexim (BOB exclusive?). Hope the next one fits you perfectly. Thanks for the review!

    • 1

Wilderness1 I just checked the Comexim website, and they have it available.
      https://www.comexim.pl/en/balkonetka/676-onyks.html
I just put in for an exchange for a 60L(28HH) to see if I can get a good fit. I definitely need one cup up and one band down. It really is so pretty. And I love gray bras! This is one I really really want to work.

    • 1

Oh, I didn't even realize that was the same bra! I thought that one was an unpadded one, so I overlooked it (not in the market for more unpadded). It's really pretty!

    • 1

That's so pretty! I've only tried one unpadded half cup but I was in the wrong size at the time so it was bad lol

    • 1

Happy2BraShop I always thought their 60L's fit like 28GG's? Has my whole life (6 monts experience with comexim, lol) been a lie?
Also, beautiful bra, great choice! It seems to have a bit of a vintage aesthetic to me.

    • 2

marilynne I haven’t tried a 60L yet, but I hope it fits. Of the few Comexims I’ve had over the years I feel like they’re inconsistent, so I honestly can’t even say any one size fits one way lol.

  4. I originally reviewed this in size 65J(30GG) http://bra.pe/X35Q/ but due to fit issues I exchanged for this 60L(28HH). I’m so glad I decided on going one band down and up a cup. It fits spot on and exactly what I was looking for in terms of fit and look. This bra is very comfortable, but it still has the squeak where the back hardware attaches to the straps. I’m hoping with some wear, that squeak will go away. For all the fabric details please see my original review, where I go into detail. I deducted a point for quality due to the squeak.
    For reference:
    I wear a 65J in padded plunge
    I wear a 65K in 3HC padded basic
    I wear a 60L in this 3HC non-padded Onyks

Thank you for the review and for detailing what size you wear in all those. Looks great on you!

    • 1

Wilderness1 Thank you. I really wanted this one and really glad I got the size right. I love gray bras and I’m really into non-padded bras right now. It’s strange tho how I can wear so many sizes across one brand. But I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised since the same thing happens with regular clothes.

    • 1

Looks gorgeous and wonderful on you!! I hate when my bras squeak, lol!! I just noticed my most recent black Comexim does that sometimes!!

    • 1

It’s so pretty. I’m trying to figure out what if I need a 65HH or 65J in this. If it’s exactly like the Bridget, as they say it is, the 65HH should do. But if your 65J was too small, it could work, possibly.

    • 2

braluv It makes me laugh actually. My husband was looking at me funny when I was trying it on and asked what that noise was. I told him my boobs needed some WD-40 hahaha. He laughed and walked away.

Calluna The 65J was definitely too small in the cup for me because my boobs are so full on top. The bra just smooshed my boobs in together with the gore sitting on top of my cleavage. With the pushed in together, it also created quad boob. I think for me the 3HC cuts I’ll definitely be sizing up to the K cup in my usual 65 band. I just got a Comexim Tara non-padded longline in 65K, so I hope that fits when I get it.

    Didn't fit

I’ve been wanting to try this bra and finally went for it but ordered the wrong cup size. I absolutely love this bra. It’s very comfortable and light. I like the shape it gives and I just love how it feels. I ordered a 28H (60K) from breakout bras and I’m not sure why I didn’t order 28HH (60L). I am not sure if I should order one cup size larger or two? 🤔

according to this review https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dnfzu/, LadyNoName says to size down in the band, and up 3 cups.

I wasn't able to find the best size for myself in the Onyks; fyi, I sized down 1 in the band and only up 2 cups sizes - I still needed to go up one cup size.

Hope that helps! But I didn't really find my correct size in the Onyks, so I'm not entirely sure I know what I'm talking about, lol. But I think I would've needed to go down 1 band, up 3 cups, from my normal UK bra size. Again, I only went up 2 cups, and I felt like I needed to go up one more.

Do you know: what is your size in their padded plunge?

    • 2

BraOdyssey Yes, I do remember her review and saying that! My best fit has been in a 60L. So I’m not exactly sure why I ordered a 60K lol. Maybe I should order a 60M then. I am afraid it will be too big 😕

    • 2

damaries , I know...it's a tough call. There's one 60M Onkys in bratabase, but she didn't add the measurements (only pics), so there's nothing to compare to! : (

    • 2

BraOdyssey I saw that 😞 I think I’m leaning towards going with the 60L and if it’s too small then I’ll exchange again for the 60M. Breakout bras probably hate me 😂🙈
I do so much exchanging lol

    • 2

damaries, hey, they offer free shipping/returns, so I would take it! Even my friend who works for amazon said, "Don't feel bad about buying and returning from amazon if it doesn't fit." He knows how many $billions$ they make, lol.

seriously though, they offer it as a service, and I wouldn't have brought my bras through BoB if they didn't have the easy exchanges.

  6. So, I initially got a 30FF/65H in this bra from Breakout Bras with my birthday discount, and even though I sized down in the band to a 30 from my usual 32 in Comexim due to reports that the band is stretchy, I opted to try the 28G because the cups mostly fit well in the 30FF, but I felt like I might still be able to do a somewhat snugger band. BoB customer service said the smaller band might help the cups hug my breast better as well. Rather than waiting to return the 30FF, I ordered the 28G as it was the last one available.

My ... full review of the 30FF - Comexim » Onyks Non-padded Half Cup Underwire Bra (CMONY for details of the bra and the original fit.

How did this one fit? Better! It’s definitely snugger, and I might have to use and extender if I am going to wear it for longer periods, or just for short periods of time as it relaxes. It’s comfortable as it is, but long term wear and swelling in the day might cause a little pain in my sternum. The cups do seem like they’re fitting a bit better. The only thing I’m unsure about is if the straps are too tight. I actually did not adjust them once on. I think they’re ok, but maybe a tad bit snug. That said, the tension seemed ok after I’d been wearing it for a bit when taking pictures and fit videos to send to BoB and sone bra friends. I don’t think I can size down any further in the cups. Perhaps if I had firmer tissue I might be able to do it, but I am too soft.

    It’s a lovely bra.

I think I’m gonna list the 30FF for a few days or so and see if I get a bite before sending it back.

    *****************************

Just a fit update...it didn’t take long for me to adjust to the snugger band. Like the 65F - Ewa Michalak » Bm Crazy Bra (1174) , it’s comfortably snug, and I can wear it all day. It’s slightly more noticeable during the day, but totally fine. I think that if I had not gone smaller in my snug measurements with the weight loss, it would be harder to adjust. I absolutely love this set, and fear the day that I gain weight again. Lol!

this looks so good on you! Just the *tiniest* bit of gaping, but I don't think it will show at all through shirts. lovely bra!

    • 2

Thanks so much. I wonder if straps moved in and reduced gore would fix the gaping. I don’t think that they can reduce cup height in the soft cups but I think it’s possible for them to do reduced gore and straps moved in. I’m going to email and ask because I want to get a Rubin.

    • 2

rubin looks gorgeous too! totally attracted to that design.

    • 1

Rubin is actually my maiden name so I really want it. Lol

    • Calluna i got the Rubin. I have to get around to writing a review but I will say it is gorgeous!
I didn’t think comexim did alterations on the soft cup bras? Curious to hear what they advise on this.

    • 1

Awesome! Can’t wait to see you add more information! I have to go measure this one but I have a lot of stuff to do today.

    • 2

Glad the exchanged onyx worked out for you, yay!

    60L

    Didn't fit

I tried this bra in 28H (60K) and really loved it but needed to go up a size so I tried this one, 28HH (60L). I should have gone up to a 28J (60M). I still have quadboob. I’m disappointed because I love this bra. It’s really comfortable! I was going to try the 28J but breakout bras didn’t have it in stock and Stephanie told me that they wouldn’t be stocking more of this bra. I’m kind of worried to size up more anyway because then I’m afraid I’ll run into issues with the wires being too tall/wide. I am considering ordering directly from Comexim and asking for added depth. Is it worth it? If I ask for added depth, would this size (60L) be enough?

Hmm, interesting. It looks like (from some of the pictures) + 1 cup size and added depth at the wire? Or would that be overkill? I didn't know Comexim had this bra on their website. I tried this bra on as well -it's totally my colours - but I couldn't quite figure out the sizing.

    • 2

I know a lot of reviews said they love this bra though - that it was super comfy, so maybe I missed out, lol.

    • 2

BraOdyssey UMM they may not even have it on their site lol I didn’t check 😂

I'm sad for you about the fit of this beautiful bra, damaries !

    65J

    Didn't fit

This is a lovely bra that I ordered from Breakout Bras - my first order with them - they emailed me a 20% off coupon to entice me : ) It worked, lol.

However, I don't think this bra & me are meant to be as I'm having a hard time figuring out my sizing, and I plan on returning it for another bra : (

The problem with this bra is: I'm kind of in between band sizes 30 and 32. The band feels too loose in this particular bra (30GG/65J), maybe I'm just comparing it to the other Comexim bra I ordered (Basic Padded Plunge) where ... the band feels stronger. But if I were to "size down" any more in the band, that would put me at a 28 band, and I just think that would be too small (for example, today my "snug" band measurement is 29.5").

Also, the cups are a size too small - maybe they look okay in the picture, but to me = too small.

LadyNoName said with this bra to size one band down and three cups up; since my "normal" UK size is 30FF/G that would put me at 60K/L for the Onyks; that sounds to me like that probably is the right formula, however, another bratabase user review for this bra callie510 actually visited the Breakout Bras store and tried on the bras there, and said in her review that the 28 bands were all over the place, sooooo....after having to send this bra back, I'm just not sure that I would get something that is close to fitting. So, I plan to exchange it for a more "boring" and plain bra.

If I could go to the actual Breakout Bras store and try on the various 28 bands, etc., then I would probably take home this bra, this is the downside to internet shopping - not being able to try on many bras! Also, if I were to "size down" one band and "size up" three cups from 30G, that would put me at 60L, and for the basic padded plunge, I'm okay in 32G/70HH - to go all the way down to 60L for unpadded half-cup..that seems like an unlikely range for one person (maybe I'm just a skeptic!)

Anyway, I think this is a nice bra, I love colour, & other bratabase users have said this is a great fit, but this is a bra that I would like to be able to try on in multiple sizes.

TL; DR: A lovely bra, I just don't think it's meant to be b/c I live in Canada and I have to pay for the return shipping, and I don't want to have to send it back 3x.

It's a really pretty bra. Thanks for reviewing it.

I live in Canada too, and if you have PayPal, you can sign up for their free return shipping program. It's super easy to sign up and use, just read the rules first. As long as you pay for the order using PayPal, you can do a return valued up to $30 cnd up to 12 times a year. I've been using this service for a few years, and it works well. You just have to keep the return shipping receipt and take a picture of the package with all labels on. If you return it without tracking, they'll ask for proof of your return before refunding you (that's new this last year), so I usually get it with tracking now. If the company just deducts return shipping costs from your total return, you can get a refund that way too I'm pretty sure, I've just never had to do it that way, so not sure how.

Wilderness1 , thank you so much, I will look into this PayPal free return shipping program asap! As this sounds super useful for me with bra shopping, lol.

Unfortunately, I don't think I bought this first order using PayPal, but it's good to learn for the second time (live and learn!).

I'm planning just to exchange this bra for another Comexim Basic Padded Plunge in 32G(70HH), because I found that style works for me.

    • 1

Wilderness1 ,but the pink and grey and the lace is totally my colour-scheme and style...

    • Edit: so maybe I'll order it another time...and use Paypal, so I can return it three times to get the perfect sizing (that's the tip).

    • 1

It’s a beautiful bra and looks great on you! Sorry it didn’t fit the way you’d like. Good luck with the next one, hopefully it will work out for you!

    • 1

Thank you, margesimpson ! (lol, I always kind of chuckle at your username ; )

I know that you have ordered direct from Comexim with requested alterations; I guess I have found my "base size" in the padded plunge (not this review but a different bra).

I don't know if I should request the alteration of having the straps moved in a bit - I'm kind of boarderline about it (Just thinking aloud here!) if I order directly from Comexim - since they have so many more colours and designs on Polish website. (again, just thinking aloud) I'm a bit taller than average, but not terribly so...I always feel like I have a narrow frame, but maybe I'm just average, lol.

My Basic Padded Plunge from Comexim - it got even better after I hand washed it - like so much softer, and it seemed to fit better! I hope it only gets better with time, lol, Go Comexim.

      Happy Sunday/Funday!

margesimpson , but I don't think I'm going to order directly from Comexim again until November, like their Black Friday sale.

Yes, I know it's the end of March, and that's like 6 months away - but I honestly want to see if my bra size changes at all, from just wearing Polish bras, and "scooping and swooping" all the breast tissue forward instead of [wherever it was going ] when I was squishing myself into 32DD and 34DD bras from V.S.

So I will have 4-5 Polish bras (that I have already ordered) and my Curvy Kate bra, and see if my bra size changes at all in six months, from wearing "the proper size" you know.

We'll see!!!! Lol. Not that you asked...

    • 1

"But I don't want to order new bra until Black Friday," . . . famous last words /s.

we'll see if I can resist the temptation that long...

    • 1

BraOdyssey haha I’m glad my username made you chuckle, as it should!

Yeah I’ve given a time frame on my next order lol not sure if it will stick though
I honestly hope my bra size doesn’t change for at least a year. I don’t want to go through the bra size calculation again for polish bras (cause now I really only want polish bras, I cannot deal with the gores in other bras anymore)
      Happy Sunday to you too!

I just exchanged a Comexim order for this one at Breakout bras! I love this bra on you, I’m sorry it didn’t fit :(

Stephanie from BB did tell me the band was stretchy on this one

    • 2

      Thank you, damaries !!

      I do enjoy the colours : )

    • 2

I totally forgot to reply!! I'm so very glad you found my commentary helpful, thanks for mentioning that!! I think your logic is solid about not trying a smaller/28 band. I am 27.0" tight ribcage and I love 28's but I do occasionally throw in an extender. If I had the same experience where a 28 was loose, and a 26 existed, I would be too skeptical to try it. Sorry the style didn't work so well for you. I think this style is just risky for online shopping, exactly as you concluded. And honestly I bought the sister style but I regret it, I haven't ever worn it. There are better Comexim styles than the unlined ones imo. I hope you found some others that worked out!! You mentioned looking for "plainer" styles and my absolute fav Comexims are the "plain" ones tbh so I hope you had more luck :)

    • callie510 , thanks for your response! Girl, I love Comexim's basic bras, too. Basic Padded plunge is the only one that I've tried (in various sizes), it's a solid bra, and honestly their prices are good - compared to what I can buy here in my city. : / But thanks for leaving the feedback on bratabase; other people's stories/experiences with bra fittings definitely help! I'm jealous you can go right to the store and try all of these on! : )

    60J

    Didn't fit

This sz 60J was too big, 1 to 1.5 cup sizes. I messed up my Breakout Bras conversion.

    About me:
    * 60H or 60HH in Comexim (i own 6)
    * 28F in most UK brands
    * Very, very rarely UK 30E or Comexim 65H

    About Onyks -

    * Colors are beautiful. This was among my fav Comexim sets.
    * Adorable matching panties
    * Uniquely comfortable, especially compared to Comexim's padded styles

    Didn't love:

    * VERY inconsistent bra-to-bra on sizing
    * lace at the top may not lie flat, even in the true size.
    * mixed feelings about the boob shape ... a rounded, mound or pancake-ish look.

TLDR: Prepare to have to try and return ... this bra multiple times, to find the right fit.

Breakout Bras site notes the Onyks is very stretchy & recommends 1 band size low. I feel this is accurate.... kinda. I personally found 60 & 65 both seemed like they'd fit.

This blew me away because I am way small for a 30... I never met a single other Comexim 65 that was wearable - otherwise I was a solid 60. Yet somehow in unlined I took a 65. I actually own Comexim Sirene, a sister style unlined, in 65H.

Also I'll note, after a failed online order, I actually visited Breakout Bras physically so I tried on many different Onyks (and 100s of Comexims in general). The Onyks bands varied HEAVILY - all the Comexim bras vary, but Onyks was definitely the most obvious offender to me by a long shot. The fitting assistant even commented on how different various 28's seemed.

I think the unlined styles might just be extra inconsistent, even for Comexim. Be warned.

    70L

    Fits

This was my first bra that actually fit me well. I love the narrow wires and narrow, projected cups. I love the support of a bra with a 3 hook closure, and this is the first one I've found that doesn't have cups that rub my armpits raw. Even though it is an unlined bra, it gives a very nice shape and look under my clothes, even in thin tops. But then again, even at work I'm not too concerned about my nipples showing through my clothes. The only thing that I've found is that after a couple months of wear the band has stretched out to the point of it riding up my back even on the loosest hooks. It really is a bummer, I love this bra.
