    Fits

2nd bra that fits so far! It isn't quite as supportive as I like (when I bounce up and down there is more jiggle than my other bras), but it is pretty comfortable. after wearing it for 45min or so, the wires felt like they were digging in a bit.

At first, as with the cleo hettie, I wondered if the band was too tight-- but the band regular and stretched measurements were larger than most of the others that fit in the band. It fits upside down/backwards.

Since it is just these 2 cleo bras that feel like this, maybe it is bc the wires are stiff?

Or maybe just because I've worn them for longer and realize that they are not as comfy as when just putting them on for 5 minutes..

Thinking about trying a 34d but thinking that even if the band was more comfortable, it might not fit as well overall.

    thoughts?

Try 34d or accept that cleo bras have too stiff wires for me?

    Didn't fit

Short, projected, slightly narrow, center full, close set, even breasts...

The first comfortable Cleo/Panache bra I've tried!! I've learned I require both center and immediate projection. This led me back to my nemesis, Cleo/Panache. Still the straps are thin, the band thin, the colors loud, and the gore too wide. However, I may create a home for Skye is my minimalist bradrobe. It is comfortable.

Prior to wearing Skye, I was wearing a 32F Curvy Kate Florence. Apparently, my breasts strongly prefer the immediate projection in Skye: they rejoiced. The immediate projection in Skye is....liberating. Combine the cut with the stretch fabric and you have one very comfortable bra. Next, ... I wore Blake. Blake is returning to Amazon. Skye is impressive.

Although the band stretches easily, please be aware that the wires overstretch just as easily. This 30FF was too shallow until I added a full extender. My underbust measures 27.5". I'm returning the 30FF for a 32E. I suspicion the wires will be too narrow in the 32E, but I don't have enough upper tissue to fill the top of the 30FF/32F. I'm short-waisted and this is a common theme: cups are too tall. Nevertheless, the bra has both excellent immediate and center projection.

The colors are harmonious but louder than I prefer. Comfort trumps appearance in my world.

From my perspective, Skye's fabric is a marked improvement of Cleo's from the past. Now, I hope Cleo focuses some effort on bands and straps. These could be exceptional bras with a few more design improvements.

So, this bra definitely runs big in the cups. I was warned about this, so I ordered it in 30D instead of 30DD. I usually wear 26F in Polish and 28E in UK brands, but Skye begins at 28F for whatever reason. So I have Skye in 30D, and aside from the band obviously being too big, it's a great fit, and it's really soft and comfortable. In comparison with my 28E Marcie and Kali, Skye's cups are taller on the sides and shorter at the gore. It's not quite a plunge, but it's different from the other Cleo balconettes. The matching knickers in XS are pretty true to size.

    • Would you say this bra is more closed at the top?

    • LeProfessor yes it's more closed on top than Marcie, though not as much as Kali/Lucy

Panache Cleo Skye attempt no 4. Ive tried 28FF, 32E, 30F and now 32DD.
32E - cups very large and band way too lose, 28FF - cups too large (but little smaller than 32E) and band too tight, 30F - band perfect, cups like 1/2 size too large (kind of worked as a full cup when straps pulled up but wires too wide and strap placement too wide due to too big cups).
Thats about other sized Ive tried
Ive snapped this in 32DD in cheaper price than 30E so decided to give a go as 30F wasnt horrbile but I had to try smaller size and I must admit ... I am kind of really happy with that!
The band obviously I can close on the tightest set of hooks, definietly Id need band 30. However it is very comfy.
The wires are spot on! 13cm wires are my perfect width so they do not end almost in the middle of my armpits and also the cups is shorter on the side so more comfortable
The cup depth is good, very good - but tiny in-cup quad occurs on the bigger side. Also I have very tiny gapping near the gore, but i think I can just adjust straps better and it will dissapear. Also the cup coverage is much lower than in 30F, so I guess 30e would be really my best size.
Strap placement is still little to wide but it should bother my armpits.

So yay, I am even more happy now but still Id prefer to have 30E. however, the band can be little adjusted with moms help *_*
    anyone interested in buying or swapping 30F or 32DD for 30e? https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />)))))

I wish!! I love this bra and really want to try it but I definitely would need a 28F in it, especially since I've heard the band runs large.

    • 1

Well, lcl0706 I wouldn't say it runs really large, but maybe little looser than Marcie - so not bad :) hope you'll Find your 28F!
I wish the new colour version isn't pink, id love it in yellow with blue or pink instead *_*

    • 2

Very exciting :) i was tempted for your 30F but realistically know it would probably be a bit big in the cup. Maybe one day we'll get 30Es!

I'm pretty disappointed in the fit and construction of Cleo's SS16 bras. The band on this bra is uncomfortably loose, and even though it (and Blake) is supposed to be based on the Marcie, they're nothing alike. The cup fits okay, but it cuts in a little at the top because of the lace trim and is slightly smaller than the Marcie in the same size. The shape of the upper portion of the bra also looks kind of straight-across flat instead of rounded. I'm a little full on top, but mostly rounded. This bra might work if you have very short roots and low set breasts? Maybe ... with outer fullness? But I would recommend going down one sister size.

The design is GORGEOUS, unfortunately it's not really all that well-made, which surprised me. There are loose strings and the aqua lace is already pilling even though I've only tried it on briefly and not even under clothes, since the fit is uncomfortable.

Will probably return this one. So far the only SS16 Cleo bras that have worked for me are the Kayla and the bluebell colorway of the Marcie.

Looked more like a full cup bra on me than a balconette. The cups seem to be taller than cleo marcie. The top of the cup gaped on me, and I had some in-cup quadding on my larger breast, similar to the 2016 beige marcie. Stretch lace seemed like it would pill easily- it kept catching on my tape measure and my dry fingers. The colorway was a little brighter than I expected, too.

I remember this bra being pretty tight and uncomfortable when I first bought it! It's definitely loosened up in the year that I've owned it - I now wear it on the tightest strap.

This bra was quite pretty, it's too bad that it was a cup size too small for me! I ordered a 30FF based on recommendations from new measurements after losing some inches but I think I need a G cup, alas Amazon only carried it up to FF. My only concern with going up a cup size is that I'm not sure if the trim would cut in along the top. My roots are quite tall so that tends to be an issue for me.

This is has fun, somewhat manic colors. The gore is the biggest issue for me, it not being a good fit for my personal asymmetry at my sternum (so not an actual problem with the bra). The cups might also be a tiny bit too small for me, as there is a little bit of quadboob effect (barely). The band itself isn't too tight (it might actually be slipping down a little when worn), but there are some slightly prickly parts where the stitching comes together and creates rigid points in the fabric.

This one isn't bad, but it also isn't perfect for me!

I love the fit of this bra, but am not sold on the colour. The hot pink straps are just too much. They are so vivid and don't compliment the beautiful pale lilac colour of the bra. I do love the bright yellow stitching and ribbon accent - wishing that the straps were this colour instead. I also speculate the pink straps would be highly visible under any light coloured top.

Despite my hatred for the pink, this bra is super comfortable and appears to fit quite well. The band is firm and very comfortable. The depth and width of the cup are pretty close to perfect. My only qualm is that it gives a slightly pointed shape that I have not experienced before with Cleos. Not sure if it is a dealbreaker, I will have to try it on with some clothes and see how it looks.

    • Agreed on the pink straps. It’s little bit of overkill.
