Very comfortable bra! After putting it on, I didn't even notice it throughout the day (In a good way!). The fabric is soft and lovely, the support is firm and wonderful, and the uplift is nice and supportive. The bra feels very nice and lightweight, but does exactly what I need it to do. As a Marcie-based cut, the Blake is a little more closed on top--the white contrast stripe is not stretch lace, but it does have some give so it doesn't cut into my soft tissue.

This bra seems like it was nearly made for my breasts and shoulders; it's my first bra with my updated measurements post-tissue-migration (36GG --> 34H --> 34HH). It's a great balance of volume and band size for me (35/32 underbust ; 45 standing ; 46 leaning ; 45.5 lying) and fits true to size. I absolutely LOVE the appearance of this bra with my breasts - very rounded and perky looking. I want to walk around shirtless in public in this bra becuase I love the look so much. I am considered full all around (tinge of more upper fullness?) and projected - I'm still trying to figure ... out root/wire width although this Lily is comfortable. I'm a shorty, too (5'2"), so the fully adjustable straps, shortish gore, and not-overwhelming wing height are exactly what I need to feel contained and supported. If I had to choose a gripe about this bra it is that the band is relatively thin (2 hooks) and can struggle to fully support the wires/outside tissue unless my torso is straight and shoulders are square, hence the one notch down in quality/comfort. When I swell during that awesome time of the month, I anticipate some quad-boob as the closedness (is that a word?) of the top is only just too much for my tops because they sit very flush now at normal size.

  3. Lori Balconnet Bra (7221)

    Here is my review:

At first glance, this bra doesn't look as colorful as the usual Cleo bras, despite the coral embroideries at the top of the cup. Don't be fooled though, this understated looking bra could become a staple in your lingerie collection. I know it is in mine !

The soft dotted grey mesh is lined with a very soft fabric at the bottom of the cup, which makes it non-sheer (on light skin girls at least). The bra's fabric feels thin but you can tell it's nicely made and I think it will be durable if handled with appropriate care.
It will be great in the upcoming hot ... days because it is light on the skin.
I like that the coral ornaments don't overpower the grey fabric cuteness. I especially like the bow at the center gore, because it's not made of fabric, but embroidery. It looks delicate and feminine.
The straps are extra-lined underneath the top shoulder zone with a soft fabric that helps avoiding pressure on the shoulders.
The same fabric covers the interior of the parts that would rub against the skin.
This bra is made to be comfortable.

    It encloses perfectly my breasts.

I asked for advice on which band size I should order in the boutique I bought it from, and they told me Cleo in general had small band sizes. I had a problem about this with my previous Cleo Lucy so I took their advice and ordered a 34 band.
This size isn't ideal as I have to use the last row of hooks to obtain a nicely snug band. I bought this bra for a great price and it was the last in stock so I won't send it back.
As a consequence the underwires are also a bit too wide for me, and on my short narrow frame they're a little high and wide under the armpits (they have produced painful chaffing on one occasion when I had to wear the bra for 24h including night). They become uncomfortable at the end of a long day, but as I said I purchased a band larger than my real size..
(The good thing is that the band has not stretched out much after 6 months of wear although I'm wearing this bra every other day because I have only 2 bras)

The top of the cups that is made from embroided lace mesh looks a little strange : it forms waves but it's not because the cups are too big. I think girls that are fuller on top will like this as the top fabric is stretchy enough to not cut into breast tissue. I'm not too full on top so this is why it looks like this, BUT ! It is perfectly invisible under clothes, even a thin t-shirt.
EDIT : I gained some weight so the cup doesn't form waves on top anymore.

The coral embroidery doesn't show under white shirts. The polka dot does a little, but it's not obvious. The lace mesh looks smooth under clothes.

The cup size is great. It gives me a really great rounded, lifted figure. This is the thing I love about Cleo, after trying different brands I find that they are the ones that seem to really get what breasts like mine need !
And I have to say that after a few months wearing tired old self-altered bras I feel like a woman again in this one !

I would recommend it to any girl that want great shape from a cute everyday bra made from fabric that can actually let your skin breath !

One important detail could be changed about the brand @Cleo: they make wide-set straps, and I'm not the only girl that is complaining about the problem of slipping straps. Luckily the band doesn't really need them to support the breasts so they don't suddenly drop when one of the strap falls down.
But PLEASE Cleo, make some narrow(er)-set straps for your clients with narrow(er) shoulders, and you would become an absolute go-to brand for young women !

The Zia was too wide for me, and too small in the cups(my fault). The wires were a little too wide and went further than my breast tissue, but the real problems were the center gore being wide and splaying my breasts and the straps practically falling off of my narrow shoulders.
On the upside, the Zia gave me great uplift and support.

  5. Olivia (6651)

It was difficult filling out the "how it fits"-bit, because, I have slightly assymetrical breasts, nothing you normally notice, and usually I can just tighten one strap a bit more, and there is no problem. But the upper section of this Olivia seemed to be unaffected at however I put the straps - the cups a bit small on my larger breast, and a bit loose on my smaller breast, and even when I had one strap loosened all the way, and the other tightened all the way, it made no difference.
So for the large breast, the fit should have been set at: Can adjust straps loose ... enough, quad-boob effect. And on the smaller: Can adjust straps short enough, slight wrinkling at the top of the cup.
This bra is not perfect for me, but pretty damn close. I don't want my boobs to be wider than my body at all, and this does it slightly, meaning they are less in front: I prefer that they literally go out in a 90degree angle from the center. Also, the band should be wider at the sides, and the wire should go up higher.

This is for the Lilac colorway.

The photos are really misleading - the straps are neon, electric pink. It doesn't looks nearly as nice paired with the soft purple lace, pretty disappointing.

The fit is decent - the cups and the gore are TALLLLLL. I have tall roots, and this is a full coverage bra on me (unlike Lucy and Marcie etc., where I get a bit of moundy cleavage). There's some extra space in the top part of the cup, but the lace trim is tight, so sizing down is probably going to cut into my roots.

The band is pretty stretchy, and rode up after just a few minutes ... of trying it on/taking photos. The gore tilts (not a huge surprise, I am close set with lots of inner fullness, and the gore is wide and tall). The wires are struggling to get up into my IMF on my larger side, likely due to the gore being so wide and also not quite enough depth in that area - I have some wrinkling on the bottom outside of the cups as well.

The shape is lifted, very round from the front, and maybe not quite as round of a profile as I usually get in Cleos. The wires are just way too long for me, both in the gore area and under the arm area, so I won't be bothering to retry this.

This bra is gorgeous, and I really wanted it to work. The band is too big for me (I suspected it might be) so I would definitely need to try the 32, however I'm not sure if there's much point. The bottom of the cup is one of the best I've tried for immediate projection, however unfortunately I can't quite fill the top. The top is closer to being filled than say the Cleo Marcie, but is still slightly too much too be able to get away with really. I could try a cup size down, but given the immediate projection is only just ok in this one (or possibly still just not quite enough) I'm not sure a cup size down would work either, although I might give it a try just to be absolutely sure!

This bra is really comfortable, and just what I was hoping for. My previous attempt at expanding my bra-drobe was picking up a
32J - Cleo ยป Skye Balconnet Bra (9121), which unfortunately didn't work. Hoping for better results, I searched for a Kayla, and I was super excited to find one available in my normal size, 34HH.

As a big fan of the Marcie, I was excited by the new styles based off of the same cut. As a FOB, short-rooted, pendulous girl with soft tissue, it's hard to find bras that work, but I'm so pleased that Kayla fits everything I was ... looking for.

The cups are nice and supportive; the laminated fabric used on the bottom of the cups is sturdy comfortable, but the real winner for me is the stretch lace at the top of the cup. The lace is much more elastic than that lining the top of Marcie's cups, more like the lace on Panache Jasmine, which works and gives me support on the top of the cup instead of cutting in along the top of my breasts. This also means it rests flat against my smaller side, instead of giving that faint ruffle/wave from the loose lace atop Marcie on the same side.

Kayla has more than enough depth for me, which is a big help. The projection at the wire on the cup is just right for me, which is hard to find sometimes! The depth of the cup, combined with the elastic lace at the top, helps the bra match my breast shape without forcing all my tissue up (like too-shallow bras will). It's definitely a nice find, and I already like the fit more than my Marcie, for one reason: the underwire. With the Marcie, I experience poking under my arm from the end of the wire where it comes up too high; with the Kayla, the wire feels shorter and more comfortable.

I saw that others mentioned that the band of Kayla felt loose, but I didn't experience that myself. The band feels true-to-size for a 34 band, if that helps anyone else. The purple-and-blue pastel plaid of the Kayla immediately caught my eye; normally, I prefer solid colors, but this was just so pretty!

Overall, the Kayla was a success for this Marcie-dependent girl, and I'm glad I finally got my hands on this model.

  9. Kali Balconnet Bra (7561)

As an even girl this is one of the best fitting bras I've ever owned. It fits perfect, no wrinkling anywhere and can completely fill the cup. I'm wider root (not all the way under the armpit but close) and wide breast. The Marcie was a disaster for me so this was recommended. It provides the round uplifted shape Cleo is knows for and succeeds at doing. The gore lies flat without shifting. The straps don't adjust all the way but adjust enough to shape the cup. The band is true to size and like most Cleo's, not too tight or loose. The gore is medium size, ... not as high as the marcie but not low. Hits somewhere near the middle. My normal size of 34 HH fits perfect. The fabric around the gore goes up around the cups versus all the way around the band. So no annoying fabric flip which happens a lot with my shape. I have the pink. It's a coral pink, with little heart shapes at the top. Cute attractive bra. Want more of these and plan to purchase more when they go on sale.

In comparison to the Cleo-Marcy that I own the Cleo-Minnie is hair too tall in the armpit area due to the extra fabric above the wire. Otherwise the three point fit is all there. There is support, the band fits and there are no quadboob in the vicinity. The detailing on the bra does a minimal dent in the overall look, but only on the larger side. I like this bra and will keep it.

This bra is a dream. It keeps up with me as an active mom of three young children. As I have been wearing this bra for 6 months I still find it my favorite. Due to the lack of space between my boobs the bra folds in the middle but does not gouge my sternum. When it folds it stays in the middle and does not walk over to the larger bust side whereas most of the other bra brands travel to the larger side.

    • what color do you have? You dont get the in-cup quad? Mine digs in at the seam and makes a horrible shape. reasonably comfy, tho

    • My suggestion is that if you are getting the in-cup quad then you need a size larger in the cup. I have the yellow that is posted in the picture.

    • I couldnt see the picture yesterday? I have heard the yellow doesnt do that as badly as the raspberry, which is what I have. I do notice it doesnt do that on my smaller side, so yes, maybe i need to go up a cup size. But honestly I'm not sure I'd try it again.

I was very disappointed because the band is huge - I was told that the bands run really small and I should go up a size. Its too loose even on the tighest hook.

The bra is fairly supportive and rounded, but clearly does not fit my breasts either - there is gapping on the top on both sides (even my big side).

I'll post a fit request to try to figure out if I should reorder and in what size.

Okay, the 34HH is definitely too small in the cups (see side pictures), but I think this bra will work for me if I can find the right size. The sizing issue is not Cleo's fault; it's just that I'm still trying to figure out my size. I've read that the Marcie actually runs a little large in the cups.

As many others have noted, the shape is nice and round, and it's a good bra for someone with even/on-top fullness. The stretchy lace is very accommodating. And yet I really like how contained I feel, which is probably a result of the strong ... wires, good side support, and nice shaping from the lower part of the cups. It gives me a lovely side profile, no east/west issues.

For me the straps were easy to adjust to the length I needed, and doing so greatly improved the shape/lift - possibly a sign that I could do with a smaller band?

The only thing I have to complain about is the wires. This bra most definitely pokes, and it's hard to know how much to attribute to sizing issues. I have center-heavy, fairly close set breasts, and while the gore works to keep them apart (and actually tacks, a thing which I had never experienced before!), it also hurts. The top wires of the gore dig quite badly into my sternum - so much so that I will get tiny stab wounds if I wear it all day. On the sides, the wires may be a tiny bit wide for me, but they are definitely too high. I get some underarm poking which can be quite uncomfortable.

Finally, looks: hot pink is usually not really my style, but I really like the contrasting bow and the polka dots on the mesh. I was very surprised by how pretty I felt in this bra. It's my husband's favorite at the moment! Should be even better in the right size.

I absolutely love this bra. First time I have ever said that about a bra! Feels amazing. And looks amazing. Hasnt strecthed out and I wear it alot, stands up to my washing machine, I lay flat to dry. I just wish it was a smooth cup like a t-shirt bra, the seam under shirts sucks but it's still great.

I love this bra! This is the first bra that feels like it was made for me despite the snug band. I can fasten it but will probably use an extender towards the end of the day. I don't know why but all my bras seem tighter by the end of the day. Great depth in the cups, my boobs fit perfectly. Underwire sits right at the riot of my breast and at the end if the day all the marks are in the right spots https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I could probably use a little but narrower wires but this is so close it is not a big deal.
I really like the colors. The pics online don't really show how nice it looks. I wish they made this in more color ways and I would buy all of them!

I was so excited to get this bra. I find Cleo Marcie, And Lana fit really well so I figured this would be a perfect addition. The band on this bra is made if a different material and doesn't have much give to it. It's supposed to be a 34 band but barely stretches to 31! The bra itself is a really pretty soft pink. I was expecting it to be white but that is my own fault! I looked at the pics on amazon again and it is obviously pink. The embroidery is really pretty and detailed but on the bra I got there was some loose threads. Cup depth is nice and I will be shipping this back and ordering a 36H. Hopefully that will fit but you never know!

    34HH

    Didn't fit

First off, the Bella is gorgeous! The little yellow birds in the lace section are super cute and the flowery pattern and bright colors reminds me of summer and the beach. I love the design!

I'd heard Cleo bras gave an uplifted, up-front shape but WOW! It really puts everything front and center and slims out my figure under clothes. It really does give a lot of lift too, it's hard to believe this isn't a push up bra! The shape it gives is slightly pointed, but it looks like a very natural perky shape. So don't expect a perfectly round shape like some of the other Cleos give.

The ... band is a tiny bit loose on me but still firm since it doesn't ride up too much. This is because I measure for a 32 now, but when I ordered it I was very much a 34. I'd say it's an accurate 34 band, but maybe a tiny bit on the tighter side which works out perfectly for me but might require some breaking in from others.

The wires in the Bella seem very narrow and leave me with no empty space, something I thought I'd never find in a bra, so bravo Cleo! The gore doesn't lie completely flat, but that's not on the bra itself, my breasts are very close together and nothing short of a plunge lies absolutely flat on my sternum. I always have a little pucker where it curves outward slightly. It's not for lack of trying though, the wires in the gore aren't spaced out very much at all and are actually some of the closer ones I've seen.

I do get a slight quad-boob effect if I take very deep breaths or slouch, but it's very much minimal. This is likely from my more "well rounded" shape, I'm neither full on top or bottom. I really don't think it's something that going up a cupsize would resolve, the Bella has a pretty closed of top section from the stitching in the lace on the top of the cups.

Like most bras on me, the straps are too far apart, but this one isn't as bad of an offender as the Bravissimo Satine Floral Bra (LN119) was. That one's straps wants to end up under my armpits, the Bella only seems to be about an inch or so too far apart, so I'm not constantly worried about having to pull my straps back up. Still annoying, but better than my other bras are.

In all, I have a couple issues with the Bella, but the great far outweighs the slight annoyances. I very much recommend this bra, but I'd advise ladies with Full on Top shapes to try and find a place to try this one on. It seems very suited for Full on Bottom types.

    EDIT:

After wearing it for a few more hours the gore progressively got further away from my sternum and started rubbing and leaving red marks on my cleavage. Adjusting the band to the tightest hook resolved the issue so I've decided to exchange it for a 32J and see if that's any better.
