This bra is adorable and the fit is almost perfect! Unlike all of the other bras I've tried on in my search for my first "bra that fits," the material where the cup meets the strap DOESN'T dig into my armpit flesh! The top of the cups flares out a smidgen on my breasts, but the fit is so close I might just keep it anyway.
This bra is comfortable. That's the first thing I noticed. It lifts and centers the breasts a lot. I think the lift is what makes it feel comfortable. My breasts feel supported! I like the color and the thicker fabric feels sturdier than mesh.
I would say this is a good bra for women who like to keep their breasts within their frame, if that makes sense. Mine aren't that big or wide--or naturally centered, for that matter--so this extreme front-and-center position looks weird to me. Plus it gives me a really pointy profile because the cups are so deep.
I'm ...still undecided about keeping it because of this. On the one hand, it's pretty and comfy and supportive so I want to see if the pointy-ness will relax with wash and wear. On the other hand, I know that the depth has a lot to do with the shape and that can't be changed... unless I alter it. I'll be reading this obsessively for a while to see if I can muster the courage to try to alter it: http://brasihate.blogspot.com/2012/08/how-to-make-pointy-bra-round.html?m=1 Read more 87 more words
I LOVE the shape of this Cleo balconnet. Unfortunately it's a 34E and I just learned I'm probably a 34G/GG so it's just too small. That said, here is some fit info that may still hold true if it were in the right size for me. The straps are a bit wide set for my narrow shoulders and they are thin for the weight I carry. The wires are narrow and I think they'd be fine for me in a GG. The immediate projection from my IMF is fantastic.
I got this on a super sale, and it has an orange bow, so I couldn't pass it up. Although I usually wear 30F/ 32E/ 34DD, I thought I'd try ordering this 34E online since it was on sale. The lace of this bra gaps only slightly more when I lean forward than the 30F (I have the 30F in pink and white), and had less in-cup quadboob. The gaping lace doesn't show under a shirt. I think this is going to become my official Monday morning (& Ash Wednesday) bra; a safe choice after a weekend of heat, salty foods, and margaritas when everything else is too tight.
I removed 3 inches from the band (1.5 inches on each side at the wings) and this bra now fits!! Please allow for these adjustments on the measurements.
Bought this bra using guidance of online bra calculator. Serious sizing mistake. The cups are just too small/shallow for my boobs and I'm getting serious quadding.
Beautiful bra. Made of a sheer, non-stretchy mesh material. Shape is lovely, quite projected. Gives a rounded look.
Unfortunately, the cups are a good bit too small for my current size, and the non-stretchy material doesn't play nicely with fluctuations in size.
Construction quality is fine. There's a thread or two starting to peek out from the seams, but I've had this bra for a while.
Note that the mesh material CAN catch hairs in the fabric, which has led to an insanely itchy nipple a time or two (at least, until I can excuse myself to the bathroom to fish out the errand hair).
Pulling out some older bras I know dont work for help to see where to go next. Center gore angles outward and sigs on breast tissue. Bottom of the cups are a bit empty, and wires are definitely too wide. It goes near the straps and gets worse as the day goes on.
I have wide roots, tall thin roots and need immediate projection at the wire. I have even vertical fullness and am full on the outside. Very soft squishy tissue as well.
This was a major shape mismatch for me. I tried it because someone mentioned is was good for full on the outside breasts. And it might be for someone else.
Issues I had:
1. Wrinkling in the bottom of the cup. I think this bra was just too shallow for me. I couldn't get it to stay in my IMF .
2. Wires- my tissue is squishy so I don't normally get alot of ...pain from wires sitting on tissue or issues with wires poking my armpit. Not so with this bra. I think the wires were too tall and narrow. At the very least they didn't fit my shape.
3. Quadboob. I think this goes back to the bra being too shallow. I felt like it was compressing my breasts and because my tissue is soft, it escaped out of the edges.
4. Gaping at the top. Soft tissue issues again. Too tall of cups for my soft tissue that likes to pool at the bottom.
5. Shape. I looked very flattened out from the side and the front. Read more 107 more words
Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) This adorable bra fits pretty snugly, but things always loosen a bit. It has good projection for my narrow roots; all breast tissue fits in the cup after a proper swoop and scoop. The narrow gore is perfect for my close-set breasts. I tried the Cleo Blake in the same size, but my boobs swim in the cups!
Oh, pregnancy... My boobs are growing and this is my first new bra. I'm holding off on buying Polish bras because they'll take so long to get here that I may have changed sizes by then. *sigh* So it's the cheapest Cleos I can find on Amazon for now.
I normally have narrowish, projected, soft/squishy, FOB, low-set boobs. Preggo hormones are causing more upper fullness (whoa!) and about 1.5 cup size increase so far at 13 weeks.
The Minnie is a pretty good fit! The band is a little loose and rides up a tad, but I will grow into it. The gore is a smidge wide and sits on ...my tissue, but it's not that bad. The width is perfect on the left and about 0.5cm too narrow on the right. The shape is fine - rounded from the side but a little weird from the front, sort of low and wide (or at least more so than my beloved Comexim plunges). I get in-cup quadding AND empty lace at the top - my soft boobs don't have enough support to fill the top.
Even with all the little problems, it's still a really nice bra and it's wonderful to be in a correctly-sized bra for the first time in a month!
Update: now at 16 weeks, I'm bubbling out of the top. Hope this fits for a while longer! Read more 119 more words
My boobs: pregnant, so constantly changing. Narrowish, projected, pendulous, FOB, a teeny bit of upper fullness if I'm hydrated, soft tissue
I've been getting cheap Cleos on Amazon cause my boobs are changing so quickly. I'm about 16 weeks pregnant now. I've gone up ~1.5 cup sizes.
When I tried this on, I thought it wouldn't work. The wires were in my armpits and I didn't fill the top of the cups. A week later, it fits fine! A little itchy where it sits on my tissue, but good enough for now when nothing else fits. It's got enough depth at the wire, and a nice rounded shape.
FITTING: @ Marcie & @ Kali Cleo by Panache, unlined panel mesh bras sizes 34E-30H cups. - Envied my friend who has the Kali, Marcie, & Lucy, Cleo by Panache Bras. She looks fantastic in them, they are her favorites, so I bought a couple. I couldn't fit in her bra, so I had to guess on fit & size. - My comfort/appearance rating is based on my fit, not the bra quality. My breasts were too small and soft from weightloss, so my breasts don't do these bras justice. - I haven't seen my friend's breasts naked, so I don't know her natural shape, but she had her correct ...size and all three Cleo models, Kali, Marcie & Lucy, looked very nice & round. Her breasts were well supported, they didn't bounce around when she jumped & her breasts are very large. - Beautiful rich vibrant colors, cute embroirered patterns. - The @ Marcie has more full coverage than @ Kalie. The 3-part panel gives a lot of lift & center projection.
PURCHASE: I was new to online shopping & wasnt aware that the seller on Amazon had a had a "no return" policy. I tried to cancel the order, but The bras were already en-route. I lost a lot of money! =, (
CONDITION & CARE: I hypoallergenic hand washed after trying on. Then stored flat in plastic on hangers to preserve/ protect mesh fabric and wire shape.
Thank you everyone! <3 BRATABASE! <3 Read more 136 more words
Cups fits perfect for my round shape. The band runs small when new, 28.5", so it fits perfect, then stretches out to be too big. The Gore pushes my breasts apart uncomfortably, leaves red marks.
The first bra that I felt was a fitting one after my bra-fitting in summer 2015. Have worn it most of the time since then for a good year. The design is a variation of a reserved solid black, but with nice details (cup trim: tiny lace border and button on gore top) and texture. I really love the detail of how the straps are attached to the band at the back: One can slip a finger in. Though moulded, it is not super-stiff and the tiny lace border makes it not too visible under tight shirts. The straps are comfortably wide, but not too broad. Since I have super-wide spread breast tissue, the wire ends poke into the breast tissue below my arm pit (but all bras have done this until now).
I typically wear a 32E in Cleo Marcie (and Marcie style) bras, so when I saw this 34DD bra on sale I thought a nice sister size might work. Turns out 34 band size in Cleo is too large for me, I had to use the 2nd column of hooks and the shape wasn't great on me. I'll stick with the 32s.
Very cute, has a nice push-up effect. Like many bras with a more padded lining, the cups seem a little bit small, so I'd recommend sizing up if you are between sizes. The coral orange is very nice and bright against the navy in person.
