This is a pretty bra, and the band feels comfortable on me. The bottom of the cup felt a little tight, but I wasn't even close to filling the top despite scooping and swooping.

I'm finally on the Marcie bandwagon! I have (unsuccessfully) tried this bra in 3 other sizes in the past year (30J, 32H, and 32J), but I'm happy to report that I finally got my hands on the correct size for me. I've been very loyal to Polish bras for the past couple of years, so that should tell you what kind of construction I prefer: Deep cups, narrow wires, narrow gore, and rounded shape. This bra meets all of my criteria. Ok, the wires might be a smidge too wide, but they don't create discomfort or any fit issues. All in all, I am very pleased. An added plus is that the Aquamarine colorway is a vibrant turquoise, which happens to be one of my favorite colors. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

For size reference, I wear 32HH in the other Cleo bras that I own (Lily & Alexa) and 70J/JJ in Ewa Michalak.

    • Hey I found my way here from your review of the Comexim Basic (170) in 75M and from that review your boobs sound similar to mine. In that review you said your boobs are FOB and soft. My boobs are very soft and FOB with like no natural volume on top- so you think the Marcie will be able to push my soft tissue up enough to fill out the top of the cup as much as the bottom so as to produce a balanced, round shape?

Do you find the gore of this narrow enough to tack between your close-set boobs? I ask because I'm also very close set.

    • Hi! That Comexim review is sort of old, and I consider myself to have even fullness instead of being FOB now. My weight/size has changed since that review as well, just so you're aware.

But yes, I am very close-set and soft, and I fill out the cups entirely with no gaping at all. I think the key is to not get cups that are too big. The gore is narrow enough that it tacks and doesn't cause me any problems. Hopefully you can see from the pics how well it fits. :)

    • Okay, thank you so much for your help :)
Hopefully the Marcie would be able to lift my fob boobs up to create a round shape too. I think I'll try a 34J, rather than 34JJ :)

    • I think it will. I've read several other reviews from other FoB girls that actually like this bra, even though it's said to be best for FoT. I always considered myself to be FoB until a couple of months ago when I tried 3 benchmark Cleo bras according to ABraThatFits (see #3 https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/wiki/beginners_guide#wiki_2._determine_your_shape) The bras I tried were:

32HH - Cleo » Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851) (full on bottom)
32HH - Cleo » Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) (full on top)
32HH - Cleo » Lily Balconnet Bra (7351) (even fullness)

Out of all of those, I'd say Lily fits the best. When I wear it, it's like someone took a mold of my boobs and fashioned a bra. It gives a somewhat rounded, natural shape. Marcie actually fits pretty great, too. The shape is more of an exaggerated round shape and fits quite nicely. Lucy, the one I originally expected to fit the best, actually fit the worst. It gave me an elf-shoe shape and I was oozing out of the top of the cups. I could have sized up possibly, but the wires and gore were already too wide. I altered the gore, which made the gore more narrow and opened up the top of the cups, and that helped a lot.

Now that I realize I'm probably even instead of FoB, it explains why I did have some success in the past with some FoB and some FoT styles My tissue is very soft, so it adapts easily.

Also, I wanted to mention that I realize now why I think I was FoB. xelestial and I had a conversation about it on my review for the 65JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Pieprzyk (473) . I was thinking about when I first started my bra fitting journey, I think I sometimes confused softness with quadboob. Sometimes when you're soft, you're just gonna spill out no matter what. I tried to remedy that by sizing up. Looking back now, I think I may have sized up TOO much in some cases. The quadboob was gone, but now my breasts were just settling into the bottom of the cups, which left me with empty space at the top. I thought those bras fit back then and I was just FoB. Now I think the cups were actually too large, and since I'm very soft, of course they would just settle into the bottom of the cups (hello gravity!) Now I'm wearing my cups on the small side and don't over-analyze a tiny bit of overspill due to my soft tissue. My boobs look and feel much better in my bras now.

Ha, that might be too much info about me, but I thought I'd share -- there may be other people who were analyzing themselves in the same way I was. I always avoided Marcie in the past because it was for FoT boobs -- I just knew it wouldn't work since I was FoB. I'm glad I tried it because it is now one of my favorite bras.

I have the Marcie in Raspberry, which to me just looks like a dark pink.

The good thing is that its nice and round on the bottom, and does not seem to be too shallow for my projection. It seems reasonably supportive to me (tho I'm not finding a whole lot of bras that can really keep extremely soft 32J boobs way up high). Its not fru-fru enough to be to visible under clothing.

The bad news is - that lace panel is just not well integrated in to the shape of the bra (or the shape of me, maybe?) Where the lace meets the ... bottom half of the cup, I'm getting a weird in-cup 'quad-boob' - the lace is not as firm as the other material, so my breast tissue bulges out at the seam there (but really only on the bigger side).

The lace is even more problematic at the top of the bra - there is just way too much of it. Its laying loose on top of my breast, not filled in at all. I read that this was a problem with other reviewers as well, but as they pointed out, somehow the lace is so soft that its not really visible under clothes.

I think this fits me slightly better than the Envy, which was definitely too shallow on the bottom. My larger boob is just an altogether strange shape in the cup, but I am too tired of returning things. I will likely keep it because it basically does fit. And its kinda cute.

I keep trying to stretch out the lace, but the in-cup quad-boob keeps getting worse every time I wear it. I wonder if its so bad for me because my bigger boob is slightly too big for the cups? But i'm not sure i can live with this. I feel like I have camel-toes on my boob

lol ... boob camel-toe ... just one more fashion thing to worry about now!

Only worn for about an hour. Bought for $26.40 online (free shipping & returns) from Amazon.com after a 20% discount for signing up for their fashion news email in February 2014.
Wires - The wire width was probably narrow enough, but a little narrower would be even better. The length/height of the wires didn't bother me.
Comfort - The band could probably be a little tighter. The straps are wide-set enough to rub the front of my armpit, but I'm used to this.
Fit - Band feels OK, but can be pulled a few inches away. The center gore does not quite tack ... and seems to be a bit lopsided and sometimes rests on tissue on the left side. The cups "flare out" a little on both sides at the top, but I can't tell if it's because they're too big or maybe just too tall. There is a bit of a fold at the bottom of the cup on both sides on the outer part of the cups, not in the center. Both sides have empty space at the top corners where my armpit/boob crease is.
Under clothing - Very nice round shape; the seams are noticeable under a clingy top.
Overall - I'd like to find a bra with lower cups where the strap meets the cup. Ideally the straps would be set close enough not to touch the front of my armpit.

This bra fits me quite well! The wires are slightly too wide, but they don't stab under my arms, and the bra gives me a fantastic rounded shape that I like. This is the first un-padded bra I've found that does this! The bra was quite snug at first, but stretched out after a week or two to where it was really comfortable https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The cups are a little shallow in the bottom and roomy on top, but the depth and width are perfect. It works great as a sleep bra, since my boobs tend to fall more toward my face when I lie down, but standing it would clearly work better for breasts with more top fullness and less bottom fullness than mine.
