I was so bummed that this bra didn't fit because it's beautiful and was a steal. It just feels to me that it's small all-around. The gore doesn't sit quite flat because the band is a little right tight and the cup cuts into my tissue because I'm ever so slightly full on top. A plus though is the wide underwires. I have wider roots and the underwires actually encapsulate the runaway boob!

    • Yeah this is too small but a 32FF may work!

This bra gets the job done. I'm not entirely sure I'll be keeping it. It's too ornate to wear under knit tops, so no t-shirts. The cups are comfortable, and the thick straps are nice, but it's a very "vanilla" bra. Nothing particularly remarkable about it.

    • You look 'full-on-bottom' . . . you might want to look for that when looking for other bras to try. i mean, here on bratabase or on other social media - manufacturers and retailers wont tell you the shape of a bra lol

Hi, dbmamaz! Thanks for the input! I would agree that I'm full on the bottom; I was encouraged to purchase this as a diagnostic bra of sorts, and I think it confirmed the full on the bottom bit for me. I'm not sure anything by Cleo is going to work for me, so my next venture will probably be a Freya Padded Half Cup of some sort.

After having worn this bra in a 34DD, going down a bandsize and up a couple cups has been a godsend. (Truth be told, I think I might even be able to go up up more cupsize but it's certainly not dramatic enough to be a dealbreaker. I only get the merest shadow of quad-boob, and only with my larger breast.)

The shape I get with the Lucy is superior to ANY other bra I have EVER worn. It's perky, perfectly rounded, foward-projecting, nicely defined. Basically anything I could ever ask for in a bra. The balconette style makes for perfect coverage - I'm ... not a big fan of plunges, so I like the height of the center gore but the generally level cut across the top of the cups. My only complaint with this bra is very minor - even though the band fits, I find that the lower edge of the center gore curves inward, leaving me a small pink line across my chest. However, this may just be an issue with my bra specifically, and certainly not a problem with the Cleo line as a whole.

This time around, I went with the navy/pink colorway, which is basically adorable. I really enjoy that it has accenting embroidery, unlike other colorways which have just one color and an accenting bow. The embroidery itself is flat enough that I can wear it with all but the thinnest fabrics - it basically begins to show through around the same point that the seams themselves show. Overall, this is probably one of my favourite bras.

Wish this worked. Love the wire length; I’m short waisted, so too many bras come up into my armpits. Alas, the wires are too narrow and top cuts in with the 32F after scoop/swoop, and I can’t fill the top and the wires are too high again when sizing a cup up. Cleo Maddie worked better in a 32F, and I just have to deal w the high underwires.

Update: this too slid down, but slower and less than Cleo Maddie.

Cleo Lucy 32F - one the recommended list for FoB. The band was so tight I had a hard time thinking. No wrinkles on the bottom though! Looks like I need a larger cup and larger band. Maybe 34F?

    Fits

This is my second Cleo Lucy purchase, and the 32F in black fits pretty much identically to the red colorway I bought last year.

I'm usually a 30FF or 32F, and I prefer the 32 band in this style, as it is on the tighter side. I get perhaps a *slight* amount of quadding on my larger side when I fully swoop and scoop, but this is preferable to the extra space/wrinkling I get if I size up to the 32FF.

The shape I get in this is projected, lifted, and narrow. Not as rounded as the Cleo Marcie, but still more rounded than pointy.

As in other unlined Cleos, I take a 32F in the Lucy. For comparison's sake, I take a 32FF in the Darcy and Maddie moulded/padded bras. I'm wearing my standard base size here with Lucy and it's one of my favorite bras. I found my larger side might quad a bit in this size on certain days of the month, and my smaller side usually gaps in certain positions, but that's becuse I am assymetrical by nearly a cup size. I did bend the wires slightly on this one to follow the curve of my IMF more exactly; I took the U and pulled the top outward slightly, which widened my wires from about 5.4 to about 5.5. Otherwise the bra was perfect. People who find this bra closed on top probably have pretty tall roots. I think my roots are about average height, and some Panache bras are too closed on top for me, but this one is a winner.
This bra's measurements have been altered
I may have opened the "u" shape of the wires outward a bit to make the cups wider when I first got this bra. It does seem to be a bit wider in the wires than other Lucy bras of this size.

    Hasn't set fit

I have not worn this bra yet. It is more for show, not for go. Will wear on a sexy night date! It's a tad too small in the cups to wear under anything very fitted

    - Good lower projection
    - Nice narrow wires
    - Tight along the top of the cup, so not a lot of forgiveness for FOT breasts (if it were looser or more stretchy, I could get away with wearing this cup because the quad-boob I get is so minimal - however, since it is NOT forgiving, the small amount of quad-boob I get will not go away)
    - Tight band. It fits, and wouldn't bother me throughout the day, but I'd like a little more comfort. Also, the band is not very stretchy, so when I fasten it, the wires are warped to be wider than they actually are.
    - I love the neon orange embroidery! <3

I love how cute this bra is. The colour is fantastic. It's a cup size too small, but only barely (the FF is also slightly too big). Aside from that, it is comfortable and I like the rounded shape (I don't like the pointy shape). I don't have any significant complaints about this bra, only sad that I don't have the purple in a larger size.
