This review is for the Spring/Summer 2014 Lucy in red.

It looks as if I've finally got my perfect fit in the Lucy. I also own this bra in 30E (review here 30E - Cleo » Lucy (5851) ) and while that one's comfortable enough, I do get quad-boob in it on my larger side. This one solves that problem, as well as an issue I didn't realise I had until it was gone: the underwire digging into breast tissue on the side. The difference is only marginal, but from looking at the marks from the underwire, it's definitely an improvement.

Bought this bra when I was still figuring out my size. I need a 26 band or at least a very tight 28 but at the time I thought 30 was "close enough". It's not.

I really like that the top part of the cups on this lay flat - the top parts of the cup on the Ellis and Lily didn't lay flat at all. The band on this is pretty stretchy, so I think I'd probably prefer this in a 28 instead of a 30.

I bought this bra on sale thinking that I could wear it with an extender, and it was a bad idea. It is just so tight. I gave it about 2 hours and then gave up. I think bandless styles might just not really be for me. The wires were very stiff, unnecessarily so for such a small cup size, in my opinion.

The bra itself is beautiful. The cups fit perfectly. Although I generally prefer a more natural shape (good pointy or "green shape") I did appreciate the lovely rounded shape this bra gave. I think this resembles the look you get with moulded cups and would look nice under certain types of clothes.

    Used to fit

This might have worked because I have an average/short torso, but the straps were just barely long enough (or maybe I have a long one, and other bras just had even longer straps). I also have a strange problem where the bottom of the band feels tighter than the top of the band, but maybe that's a time issue. The fabric also feels scratchy sometimes, as does the connection between the strap and the cup, but most of the time the bra feels like it's not even there. Will update with more wear!

EDIT: So after a couple of months, the Lucy doesn't fit me as well as when I first got it. I have some quadboob, though I believe it's a result of some shape changes my breasts have gone through. I wear the bra on its tightest hooks now, as that's more comfortable for me with a 27" ribcage. It's held up incredible well and turned out really well though; very comfortable. I'm sad that I'm no longer compatible with it!

My Lucy 30F in the Navy colourway is very true to size. It's absolutely gorgeous on, and made in a nice, silky material.

I've handwashed it and worn it quite a bit and I haven't noticed any stretching going on. Its soft cups doesn't do much for the shape, but if you like you natural shape then that's fine. Lucy def gives a nice support and long wear.

However, the comfort isn't too good. The underwire is stiff and pushes against my ribs (because I haven't any squish there). The bottom of the band and the center gore bites into my skin, because of how sharp the fabric is. In my third picture you can see some semi-healed blisters I got from the sharp edge of the band.

While I love my Lucy I won't repurchase it because of the comfort factor - it's just a deal breaker! - unless they change the material this bra is made of, or pad the bottom band and gore.

The first time I tried the Lucy was two years ago and this is my second go at the bra with the same size. This time around this bra just did not work for me, the cups are way too small and cut sharply on the top edge. I'm sure my body has changed since my first Lucy, but considering I wear 30F and a few other bras, and I've fitted the Lucy in 30F previously, I thought it would be ok, but it wasn't. It's probably best to size up in this bra.

Swapped a Freya Deco (which didn't work for me at all, while, strangely, a Freya Taylor in the same size does) for this bra. Best swap ever. I love this bra. This is my first Cleo (and second Panache, the first being a Masquerade that didn't work out). My initial impression when I unwrapped this bra is that it's well made and pretty. I was happy to find that the color is a darker shade of pink than it appears to be in all the photos I've seen of it.
The feel of wearing this bra reminds me of my beloved non-padded Freyas, but the shape is a ... lot rounder. I get the tiniest, barest hint of in-cup quadboob where the cup meets the lace, but it doesn't show under shirts, and I think a size up would be way too large (this is already a size up from my Freyas).
For all the talk of Cleo having wider wires than Freya, I did not find that to be the case here; all of my non-padded Freyas and this bra have a roughly 5.5" wire width.
It was comfortable to try on, but I'll reserve judgement on the gore, since it is high for me. It feels more jiggly to me than my unpadded Freyas (of course, this bra is a size larger, so that may affect things). I'll have to update once I wear it all day.

Update: I saw a review that called this bra the "work horse of your lingerie wardrobe" (http://2cakesonaplate.wordpress.com/2013/06/22/guest-post-cleo-lucy-the-work-horse-of-your-lingerie-wardrobe). That blogger was not kidding! I take back what I said about this bra feeling jiggly. I rode 2 horses in 90+ heat today (worked a lot on sitting trot on 1, the other was my horses, and he has a big trot, even rising), and not only were there no pools of boob sweat like I normally get in bras in the summer, nothing felt the least bit jiggly during my rides. I wore this bra under an American Eagle aqua and white polo with thick horizontal stripes (similar to this http://thumbs4.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/m5kdUQ1C3zNpFXp4SXjzWbw.jpg) in a size small, and the color did not show through.
The high (for me) gore is painful after a few hours, but nothing a cotton cosmetic pad couldn't temporarily fix. I love the shape, so I'm going to suck it up and deal.
The only other problem is that I find the tag to be super scratchy unless I have the band pretty tight.
I give this bra an A (would be A+ if not for the tiniest, barest hint of in-cup quadboob where the cup meets the lace). Closest bra to perfect I've found yet.

As I suspected, this fits me much better than the 30FF does.

I do get a touch of quadboob in the bigger breast, but that's alleviated when I pinch the gore together a bit, so I will be altering it shortly (BrasIHate suggested this for those who are fuller on top, which I am)

I am in love with this yellow. It's so bright and happy!

The band feels MUCH stretchier than my navy/pink 30FF, but maybe it's just me. I'll update with any other things when I get back later/after I've worn it for some time.
