    Didn't fit

The bra was pretty and had great color. The wires were narrow but they could have been an .5-1 inch narrower, but still good fit. The cups fit up until the mesh for my larger boob. The mesh is not stretchy so if I size down it might create spillage what do you all think? I ordered a 32H and I kept having to pull the band down so I'm guessing 30 band, but what cups? 30HH would be the normal sister size, but the H was gapping at the top so 30H? I suppose I might just move on because the gore was too high, digging and sitting on my center tissue.

any chance you can do a fit request? that would make it a lot easier to give advice, because we'd have your measurements and pictures?

    • I mean, gapping on top could be fit or could be cut. Sometimes digging gore can be fixed by bending wires outward. Sometimes gapping is acceptable if it doesnt show through a shirt. and having to pull the band down could mean too loose, or could mean you have the straps adjusted too tight?

I'm not ready to fit check yet because I'm camera shy, I barely take pictures of my face let alone my body 😳😰. It could be that I didn't size down to accommodate an unpadded bra. The straps weren't too tight and I could fit my whole hand underneath the band. I measure a 31 so I wear both a 30 and 32. I am still currently trying to find my right size but all the 32GG I've tried were too small in the cup.

No pressure MissAponii ! But rest assured that whenever you feel up for it; sharing pictures on here is one of the safest, friendliest, non-body snark places on the Internet <3

I am very shy about posting photos of my face but with boobs... you know, nobody knows who I am or anything about me except my bra-buying habits and advice. So I feel like it's very impersonal and anonymous posting pics here. The only time a photo gave me pause was when my daughter ran through the frame!

    Didn't fit

Well, I wanted this bra as soon as I saw it on the Moda previews maybe at the end of last year as I love the bright and fresh pattern. It's been a long time since I tried any unpadded Cleos - at the beginning of my bra journey (approx. 2 years ago) I tried a far-too-deep Meg and learnt from that experience and from other's reviews that Cleo just are not an ideal partner for my wide rooted, shallowish, FOB boobs.

I did however try a cobalt Marcie in Bravissimo at the end of last year and this was a gloriously perfect fit (should have bought it ... really, tsk...) as I've filled out a fair bit (for me, ha!) on the top of my FOB boobs, to the point where I rarely get gaping in new bras I try any more. I did think post-Marcie success that maybe my shape could now be described more as even, hence why I was keen to give Kira a go despite knowing things might not work out.

Well, one quick try on of this knocked my poor FOB boobs back down to size - this bra is FAR TOO FOT for me - there is so much gaping on the pink lacy stuff that it makes me feel very flat and ski-slopey. It's as if the last few months of me feeling comparatively cleavagey and buxom have vanished in the blink of an eye! Sob.

As well as being designed for those with quite a lot up top, I think this bra is also fairly open. Wires were perfect on me so I know downsizing to a 30E would be a futile mission (I suspect it would very much feel too small in the lower cup). I fill the bottom of the cups perfectly and the band was surprisingly just right on me (I also ordered a 32E as I expected the band would be really tight, but it's actually not at all, a very standard 30 methinks). The pink colour is quite different in person from how it appears in pictures - in person it's pretty luminous - super bright and shocking. I'm actually not as in love with the look of it as I was previously, so not too devastated about the poor fit. This one is going straight back to Figleaves...

##Edit: Just added pics (unfort quantity rather than quality - my usual photographer is not about today so had to take pics on my phone) after a slightly more substantial trying on session - argh realised I could really love this bra if it fitted. The material is actually really soft (I know some Cleos have quite harsh thick fabrics) and quite lightweight so would be great for summer with the really bright straps on display. Looks almost ok in fit until I start wiggling around to show how much space there is in the top of the cups, bah...

One of my current favorites. It is very dimilar tovthe Minnie, but the lower part of the cup seems a bit shorter, which means my nipples hit the seam where the lace meets the fabric which sometimes shows a bit.

The colors are nice and summery, and I like the neon pink straps.

It gives me very uplifted, front and center, narrow boobs, which I like very much under certain clothes. However, viewed from the side and top my boobs are a little bit pointy, but not in an unattractive way. I hear many people say Cleo gives them very round boobs, but I find that most unlined Cleos (especially those with stiffer lower cup fabric, like this one) give me this same slightly pointy look. The Marcie is an exception.

This bra is made the same way as last year's Cleo Pixie Balconnet Bra (7481) , same materials, same cut. It fits pretty much the same except that it's not at all full on top friendly. The upper mesh section is too close on top for me whereas the Pixie is very open.

Looks wise, I think the bra is very visually appealing. The pink accents are a bright neon pink that contrast well with main aqua/green colours. The upper mesh portion has little birds on them!

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed that this bra didn't work for me (in all the sizes I tried). It will probably work better for those who are fuller on the bottom.

Like a few other styles this year, Kira arrived right on time to fit for exactly 10 seconds and gave so much treasured comfort before the *(^#@ fat sacks blew up in an indeterminate area, and ruined what we had. Something about fitting like a glove, then overnight finding telltale wrankles all over the outer at wire and nasty spillage over the wing. Trying again resulted in more spillage at the gore.

So in conclusion. July 2022 was a good time to be alive. Back to Kayla the bountiful. Maybe I'll attempt an extender and do the unthinkable, wear Kira with titty in the band.

  6. Frankly, I'm surprised that this bra gives such a round shape. Typically bras that are cut this way end up looking very conical. Unfortunately this bra gapes a bit on top but I fixed it by sewing some padding into the cups.

This bra fits pretty well. It doesn't have quite the immediate projection I would like, but it's comfortable and supportive. I like the bright colours.

Very cute bra with lovely embroidered birds and branches on the top lace of the cups. Fits very well, but I'm not loving the stitching on the cups. The fabric on the lower cups where it meets the underwire is ...wavy. Like the fabric wasn't pulled taut when it was sewn. Same with the lace on the top. There aren't any puckers, but I notice the unevenness when I wear this. This bra is very similar to my Cleo Ellis and will probably be another favourite of mine. The strap material is very bright and doesn't quite match the lace.

    Hasn't set fit

Lovely bra. Lovely upwards projected shape. Still not close set enough for me, but I love the shape so much I am going to try to alter the gore to be less wide. (I have very close set touching boobs - if you are only slightly close set you should be ok.

I wanted this bra from the moment I saw it. I know Cleo are my best brand for lift shape and fit. (quite how they do it I have no idea but I'm not complaining!)
I tried a slightly smaller size than previously as I have reduced a little and it fits better than the metaphorical glove. Perfect wire width and height, perfect cup depth and height, lace lies flat and smooth.
The pink is very neon which doesn't bother me but I would have preferred slightly less bright. The lace is adorable with the little birds. As this colourway was not going to match any generic knickers, I also bought the matching briefs. A stunning set.
