I bought the Juna thanks to reviews that it ran really shallow - my breasts are wide and shallow, so this is exactly what I need. I've had good experiences with Cleo, so I was pretty sure on this fit and quality, and I was not let down. The bra front is made of a satiny fabric that's really nice and should hide rather well under most tops. The lace is not the highest quality, but I do not find it uncomfortable. The straps are covered and somewhat thick as a result, but not obtrusively so. I guess what I'm saying is that the Juna is somewhat plain, but ... a pretty good everyday sort of bra, made nice enough that you don't feel like you're sacrificing for the sake of wanting to wear t-shirts. It's got the necessary bits and bobs, plus some extras like padding to prevent show-through.
Now, there are a few slightly unpleasant aspects to the bra. The straps are not fully adjustable, and while I don't find them problematic, others might. The lace at the top of the cups most assuredly does not lay flat. It's sewn on in such a way that it angles abruptly back towards the chest, and as the bra is low-cut, it hits my breast tissue. So the top of the lace is against my skin, and the body of the lace is formed into a fabric bubble. But it's really only noticeable if I'm looking down at my breasts, and doesn't show through clothing. The band is much larger, unstretched, than most of my other bras, so I do fear it will wear out faster. And the seam on the two-part cups is very centrally placed, and so does not hit me where my breasts are fullest. But these are minor quibbles, and while they keep the bra from being perfect, it is still a great bra.

I would definitely recommend trying out the Juna, as it is a continuity bra for Cleo. It is especially worth looking into for those with shallow breasts, since finding truly shallow bras can be a challenge sometimes!

For being a 2 part seamed bra, the seams show surprisingly little through shirts, making it a great candidate for a t-shirt bra. (It is lightly padded to prevent show-through, another plus!) The side profile has an awesome lifted rounded shape, and the front profile is front and center with no east/west action at all.

The band is looser than I like...while it does work, I'm sure I'd be moving onto the tighter hooks fairly quickly. The straps are set too wide for my narrow shoulders (a common problem for me), but a strap accessory in the back fixes this issue.

The cups are a bit too small, creating a slightly quad-look. The lace at the top of the cups lays flat on me, but this is actually because the cup is too small and I'm spilling out. (In a correctly sized Juna the lace trim should stick up a bit when not under a shirt.)

I returned this bra as a 30GG/28H offers a better fit for me.

What a great bra swap. Hooray for the internet.

After obsessively reading reviews, and referring to the fit of my Darcy in 30E, I decided that the 28F would be my dream size. It's pretty close! Great fit. Wires are maybe a hair too wide. The lace at the top does not lay flat, but this seems to be a common complaint. The cups are a good shape for me and are a good average between the two sizes of my boobs :-/

    Band size is great.

For reference, I am: wide rooted, even to FoB, tall roots that have shallow boob issues, shallow-ish/average projection. 28E.

Update: may 4, 2016. I think the cups are a little more open on top (less closed) than my 30E Darcy. The Darcy is basically a perfect fit on me but this gapes a tiny bit on my smaller side. Maybe with a couple washings it'll soften up and mold to my body better

The Juna is a great every day wear bra. The feel of the cups are so nice and smooth. The thin padding is great for modesty and shape. I have to adjust myself at least once a day if I'm moving around a lot.

Biggest complaint is that the band is super stretchy. I'm a 26 underbust and even the tightest hook was riding up a bit. So I've actually brought in the band and now I wear it on the second hook (I took in the hooks).

I get minor quadboob on my larger left breast. It don't want to size up though, because I'm pretty sure I'd get gaping, and I'm not uncomfortable.

The wire width is perfect for me. Not too wide, not too narrow.

Others have said it's great for shallow breasts, and I'd agree!

    Didn't fit

It is really hard to find a bra which fits me in both the back and the cup. In the case, the cup is too small. There is spillage though and I think I could have tried a GG, but the band in the 28GG was way too big. Even on this one the back is too big - it's not so big that it is unwearable, but I have to fasten it on the tightest setting already. And even on the tightest hooks, I can fit my hand under the sides and it rides up my back. My back is 25", so finding a bra that fits ... my bust and back is difficult. The wiring at the centre of the bra does tend to dig in a bit, but compared to others I have tried it is not too uncomfortable. A smaller back and bigger cup size would provide more support and a less flattened out shape, if this existed in a 26H I think it would be perfect. As it is the back is too big and the cup only just fits half of my breast, it's very literally a "half cup", so my nipples sometimes pop out of the top! Overall the fit is not good, but I love everything else about it.

edit - sadly this is now completely unwearable as the double-boob effect has reached new levels of terribleness! It's really unfortunate because it's a gorgeous bra and "true" balconettes are a great shape for me. I really wish the bands in this bra were smaller as then I would try a 28GG or even 28H, but there is no point trying a new size when the bands are so loose.

I like the fabric, lace, and look of this bra. I'm not a big fan of the vertical seams, because they'll show under a t-shirt. Straps are on the wide side, but haven't slipped off yet. Overall, I really like the fit of this bra. I tried the bra in 28DD, 28E, 28F, 30D, and 30DD. A size in between 28E/F would be ideal. I had already bought this one though before buying the 28's. I own another fitting bra in 30D, so it could be that the cups of this bra run small. I wore this one day to work and the top part of the gore ... poked my sternum, which really hurts, even a few days later. For my shape it the gore was too high and rigid.
I've now replaced the wires with BravoBella wires (size 34). It was a little difficult to put them in the bra, and I had to cut a tiny part off the plastic tip from the BravoBella wires, but it did fit in the end. I bent the wires in the gore a little outwards and the bra is more comfy now https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This bra was one of my first well fitting bras a long time ago. I wore it out and passed it on. I had it before in 30E and now I am trying it in 30E and 28F. So how does it stack up now?

Still pretty good! Its comfy and flattering. The gore is still a bit stabby, being neither too high or low but hitting me in a painful place. The cups are a bit wide, but it's ok for me. Where the lace used to gape more, it now tends to cut in ever so slightly. The cutting in is made worse by the tighter band on the 28F, so I prefer the 30E.

Some people say this bra suits more shallow shapes, but I would encourage ladies with other shapes to try it too. I believe I am more projected than shallow, but I find this bra very forgiving.

I've noticed this bra is often mentioned for shallow breasts, but I have it (and the Darcy), and I love them both. There seems to be enough depth at the wires for me.

    • 1

I don't find Juna that shallow either, especially in the larger sizes it allows for room at the underwire - it's just waaaay too wide on me unfortunately. Otherwise I'd own it in every color because it's hands down the softest bra I've ever put on.

    • Looks beautiful on you!! I, too, found it satisfactory for my immediately projected breasts. The gore was just too wide.

    • It looks like for 30E people measure the cup width between 5.2" and 6" - it's crazy how much variation there can be.

    • 2

If you dig into width measurements there's always a lot of variance with every bra though. Like I love the concept of this database, but honestly can't put much stock into the measurements because of user variation in methods. Despite the clear instructions. Whenever i receive a transfer, I never ever measure it as what the sender had listed. Sometimes it's not even close.

    • 1

Sometimes things like bra width are affected by wear as well. I know Cleo wires in smaller sizes are not as firm and will warp. I had some Cleo wires from a new bra that measured 6.4 inches that I put into another bra I had. Later I measured the width and it had expanded to 7 inches because the wires distorted. I know all Elomi wires do that, and so do Comexim. So if you measure one of those bras new you are going to get a narrower measurement than measuring the bra after a few weeks or even a day of wear (happened to me after an hour of wearing a new Elomi once, and I was wearing the band too loose to try not to stretch it out).

One of my favorite bra! It fits nicely and doesn't make you look huge while provides the support that I need. Recommended for people who are full on top.

I'm really on the fence about this bra in this size. Overall it could pass, but on close inspection the fit could be better... a 28DD might be best. The band on this 30DD is not loose, but even on the middle hook it is "comfy" enough that it may become too big after a little wear. On the loosest hook it is definitely too big.

There is a similar problem with the cups. They enclose everything, but they feel ever so slightly big. They don't exactly gap, but looking closely reveals some wrinkling along where the lace joins the cup edge. I ... seem to find myself right between cup sizes with a lot of bras, and with this one I think the smaller cup volume would be better.

The straps on the Juna are excellent -- padded (in front) and still have some give. The shaping this bra gives is also excellent -- beautifully rounded and the top cup edges don't show under shirts. The foam is lightweight and on the thinner side; just enough to give great shaping and provide some modesty. The seams just barely show under thin shirts, but are faint and that doesn't bother me. On the whole this is a very nice looking, well shaping, comfortable bra for me and so there may be a 28DD Juna in my near future.

    *** UPDATE ***
