  1. The Ellis was my first Cleo bra (because roses. I love roses), and boy am I glad to have it. It was a turning point for my braducation. After the Ellis, I got Melissa, Marcie, Bella, Lily and Meg, and now Cleo is my most reliable (and affordable) brand.

The fit is quite similar to Marcie, and especially its sister cut Melissa, with the one difference: the upper cup is a little too large/loose and wrinkles. I'm guessing it's more of a shape issue rather than one of size. I think it would work well on someone with a lot of upper fullness and maybe also a high peak. Still, the wrinkles lay flat and don't poke through tops, so it's not really a problem for me.

Weirdly enough, I can comfortably wear this in a 28 band, even though all my other Cleos are nice, snug and fit well in 30.

For some reason the cups on this run really big, there is a lacy part at the top of cups that has tons of extra space and therefore did not fit me even though I fit most other bras in this size.

Holy cannoli! Ellis' band is T-I-G-H-T. My underbust measures approx. 29 - 30" depending on my weight fluctuations (& I have comfortably worn 30/65 bands in Cleo, Panache, Freya, Avocado, Comexim, EM, etc) but this one definitely needs an extender. The fabric that the band is made of doesn't have much inherent give, so breaking it in could take some time.

I was also surprised by the somewhat stiff material of the cups. The lace on top, especially, has zero stretch (unlike, say, Jasmine). For some confusing reason, this bra gives me a very pointy shape whereas all other Cleo's I have tried (Marcie, Skye, Lily & Blake) ... give a fairly rounded profile. I'm not quite sure what it is about the construction of THIS particular bra that gives me torpedo-boob... but it's not all that flattering. Something about my shape doesn't like this bra.

Aesthetically, this bra is stunning on the hanger. The variation of color (especially the peach, green, and shades of pink) are undeniably lovely. It's such a cheery spring/summer bra! The fit in the end, though, is subpar & uncomfortably tight.

Wow, this is one tight band for a Cleo; I could have gone with a 32GG but I think it will be fine after the initial break in. Meanwhile, I can use one of my trusty extenders.
The pattern is just this side of matronly, but I like it. I think the pink lace funs it up.
But it also allows weird bulging along the seam where the two fabrics meet. I have the Meg and it doesn't do that. Still, it's fine as long as it's not under thin or sheer clothing.
The sweetheart cut with the narrower wires and good projection give a really good shape.
12/2018 update: Did I ever wear this? The band still works (with an extender) but the cups . . . don't. It looks like a half cup. It does seem to run true to size given that I need a 30J/32H-HH.

12/2018 It's rare when I run into cups that are too large - but that probably means it's pretty true to size and consistent within Cleo sizing. I have this same bra in a 30H that's too tight in the band and 1-2 cup sizes too small (need a 32H/HH) and I have Cleo's Melissa, Zia, Meg, Darcy, two Lily's and a Juna in 32H that either fit or mostly-fit (could use 30J/32HH's).
I understand and appreciate the younger aesthetic Cleo offers, but I think a wider band would provide better support over the long haul and minimize backfat than these measly 2 hooks.

About me: 30FF/G but can also sister size up to 32F/FF. My shape is close set and projected with even fullness and very short, narrow roots.

This bra fits me pretty well, but I think that a 30G or 32FF would fit better. The cup is a little tight on my larger breast, but the gore still lays flat and I don't really have quad boob on my smaller side. The wires are only slightly too wide for me and short enough that they aren't uncomfortable (possibly because I sized down). The shape of this works very well for my Even breasts and doesn't cut in. Like all ... of the Cleo bras that I've tried, the straps are a little too wide so if you have really narrow shoulders you may need a racerback extender. The center gore is close, still not close enough for my really close set boobs, but it's low enough that it doesn't dig in too much. This is comfortable enough that I'll keep it, but it probably won't be a go to bra for me unless I find a larger size.

I think that this almost fits like a cross between Lily and Hettie. it gives a rounder profile than Hettie, but not completely round.

I love the print on this bra but it doesn't fit me. I saw a review that said they ran large in the cups and so when a cheap 30H showed up on ebay I bought it - but it was true to size and so I get silly-looking quadboob.

I really like most of the cleo bras. This one gaps a little at the lace but it isn't noticeable under clothes so I don't mind. I wish the gore was a little lower but it works for most shirts. The fabric is very soft!

This is a very pretty feminine bra -- but the shape is all wrong for me. My breasts are more wide set and spill out of the outside edges of the cups no matter how much scooping I do. The center gore is also too tall for my liking. Another mystery is the lace along the top of the cups - I fill out the cups completely but the lace edging gaps a bit. This seems to be the norm for this style. I believe this bra would be better suited with someone with close-set breasts.

Another beautiful bra that did not fit. After trying the Panache Floris Balconnet Bra (7311) and Freya Eden Plunge Balcony Bra (1811) without them fitting well, I decided that going up a cup size would be wise. As it turns out, a 30F would have been better in this bra. I had a lot of gaping on top; the lace didn't even touch my breasts. On the bottom sides, there were wrinkles where my breasts didn't quite fill the cups.

Otherwise, I think this is a lovely bra. The band was very snug (I sometimes wear 28s, which this was comparable to), but comfortable. The wires are a good width, and I think potentially the projection would be quite nice for my moderately projected breasts.

If I can find this bra in a 30F, I would be happy to give it another shot!

Bought from littlecastle for $30, NWT.

I found the Ellis band tighter as well than some of the other Cleos I tried
