  2. I bought this based on other reviews that said this was their perfect bra. It's actually pretty good. It has a bit of a sporty look with the plain ribbon lining the top of the cup. The material feels fragile to me; it reminds me of fabric shopping bags people bring to bag their own groceries. I suspect it's more durable, but I find it a little scratchy. I'm hoping it will soften with a few washings. As for the fit, I need a lot of projection and I wish this had a little more room at the bottom of the cup. I have a little bit of ... gaping and wrinkling at the top of my small side - more than I would expect with the bottom of the cup being so tight. The band seems to run true to size for me. Also, the straps are not fully adjustable, unless you force it up over the softer part of the strap. I'm short through the shoulders so I have these pulled as tight as they can go. The material on the inside of the strap is extra soft - nice feature. I find the gore a little tall and that will take some getting used to, as well as the very stiff wires. If I'm not careful, the gore and top of the cups can be seen with my v-neck tee shirts.

    Fits

Me: very projected, very narrow, top to even full, soft tissue.

This is currently one of my better bras! It's a better fit than Cleo Hettie, not as good as Cleo Kayla, but more comfortable than both.

    Positives:

    * Band feels great. Firm but not digging in.
    * Depth at the wire is good, as is the openness at the top. When I slouch there's even a bit of gapping at the top of the cup, which has never happened before (in a cup that isn't otherwise way too big).
    * Comfortable material - two layers of ultrafine mesh. It's very soft and comfortable. At the GG level, the straps ... are lined with a fleecy material, which I think is nice.
    * Aesthetically, I like the bright colors that this bra comes in, and I appreciate that it's not too lacy/girly (there's a bow at the center but that's the only frill).

    Negatives:

    * I have a bit of in-cup quadding along the main vertical seam - it doesn't have quite enough apex depth.
    * Wires are a smidge too tall, and can dig into my armpits when I sit down. Usually, this is not a problem, but it does restrict my movement a bit.
    * The materials do not appear to be of high quality. I have had this bra all of two months, wearing it maybe once a week, and it's already worn and pilling at every corner.

    Fits

This is a copy of the same bra that I have in another colorway: 30GG - Cleo ยป Blake Balconnet Bra (9151)

The pink colorway has a weird, tiny, leopard print bow that I didn't notice in the store pictures. I removed it immediately. The black bow on the turquoise bra doesn't bother me, but the strange size/color of the leopard bow (not matching anything else on the bra) looks very out of place and odd.

    Didn't fit

I find that this bra runs small in the cup, and the measurements agree - more like a 30H than the 30HH it is supposed to be. It's a shame because I like the colour and the wires are narrow enough, but I get slight quadding even on my smaller side and LOTS of quadding on the larger side.

    Hasn't set fit

My type : close set, fullness of bottom, narrow to average root, projected, short

Design - really vivid pink color, 2 layers mesh fabric cup

Shape - it give me Cleo's classical round breast shape.

Band - stretch more than my other Cleo bra(Kali, Mimi)

Cup - My breast have highly bottom projection, so I need more cup botoom volum. I felt a little uncomfortable for this part, but it was not bad enough. I think this bra is for even to FoB girls.

    Didn't fit

Short, projected, slightly narrow, close set, center full, even breasts....

Immediately, the wire was biting under my arm. I need a wider or shorter wire. The immediate projection is great, but the wires push out of my IMF because a significant portion of my breast doesn't fit into the narrow cup. The upper edge fits better than the edge of Kali and Lucy. The material is far more comfortable than Lucy and Kali. But, the . 9" wide gore combined with a narrow wire simply doesn't fit my wider, close-set breasts.

I'm not a Cleo/Panache fan for these reasons: thin straps, thin bands, and plastic-sheet-like materials. Blake's fabric is an improvement over other models. But, the straps and bands remain blaring detractions.

So far I like the Blake. It's a pretty, deep pink mesh with a tiny leopard bow in the middle. It has 2 hooks at the back. It fits pretty well, though the band is a tiny bit loose, so I'm wearing it on the 2nd set of hooks. The gore tacks beautifully and it has center projection like the Cleo Marcie and my Freya Marvel.

Compared to the Marcie, it's a very similar cut, but I think the band is a smidge bigger and the fabric of the Blake molds to my breast exactly, so I don't have the pulling/wrinkling near the right strap that I have on the Marcie. It could be because the Blake has a stiffer fabric. The Cleo Blake is sexy, but simple. It's supportive and comfortable.

I'm still figuring out the most comfortable length for the straps, so that they aren't too tight or too loose. Overall, I'm very happy with the bra and I might need to snatch up another one before they are all gone in my size.

  10. I just got this yesterday, and the fit is great. There is a little bit of gapping in the cups, as I believe I'm an ff instead of a G, but the wires follow my roots the best of any bra I've ever had. I was concerned that the band would be too stretchy, but, it fits really nicely, firm. I love a wide firm band, so this is great.
