    Didn't fit

This bra was really interesting in that it wasn't padded or lined but also felt structurally stiff like a molded bra. The material is very thin and soft, but has little to no stretch and so feels quite comfortable and supportive.

The band ran loose like most Cleo bras I have tried, but the cups seemed to run a little big and were pleasantly deep. It was two cup sizes smaller than I typically take in Cleo bras but I only had slightly noticeable quad boob some of the time. The wires were also a bit narrow, so it is possible that not all of my tissue was ... making it into the cup.

The pattern is very pretty, though the pink lace on the cup rim is not my favorite. The straps are quite wide set which is interesting on a cup that is cut so low all the way across. It ends up attaching closer to my side under my armpit than in front of my shoulder, so from the front you can't even see the end of the straps. I actually quite like this, and found that it rubs less than other models which attach to the cup higher on the front of the bra.

I'm sure that someone with more upper fullness than me would have problems in this bra, as it is not particularly open on top. With how steeply the upper cup cuts back in towards the chest, it might be good for some full-on-bottom breasts as well.

All around I'm really happy with this bra, and would like to try it in a smaller band but larger cup for improved wire width and cup volume.

  2. So this bra is generally great, average for Cleo bras in every way (and unlike the Chloe and Marcie that I have, doesn't have awful uncomfortable embroidery/lace in the cups.) There's one really irritating problem with it, though, which is the wrinkling fabric at the top of the cup. It isn't that the cup is too big (if anything, I get faint quadboob along the top edge.) It is that the section of the cup between the middle seam and the top trim has extra space in it - and obviously since both edges around it are tight, it can't stretch or fill out. So I get this ... irritating puffy section at the top of the bra that shows under most shirts.

Otherwise though, I like it better than my other Cleos. It seems to run a little looser in the band than my Marcie, for comparison, and the cups do run about a size big - although, irritatingly, not quite a full size big, so this 30F is just a little small on me, making the wires try to sit on breast tissue at the gore, but a 30FF (my usual size) was too big.

This was my first attempt at measuring myself for a correctly fitting bra. I've learned this was not the right size for me (major gaping in the top of the cups) because I've now averaged my leaning breast measurement with my standing one (and there's a significant difference)

I can imagine if this bra were the correct size, I would really like the underwire placement.

I like the shape Alexa gives my boobs. They're nicely projected, sloping towards the center yet not very pointy. But the size and shape of the cup is wrong for my full on bottom, soft breasts. The cups are wrinkly all over, but not because they're too big but too small (not deep enough) and if I sized up I probably couldn't fill the top at all - and the wires would still be too wide.

The straps are too wide set. And the band has stretched out. I can easily wear it in the tightest hooks, yet even my oldest Tango Ii Balconettes in 32 band are almost too tight.

My guess is this might work for people with fuller on top or balanced breasts, wide shoulders, possibly with V-shaped ribcage.

I read good reviews about alexa bra and I had high hopes when I purchased it. The bra cuts my breast at the top and it has some wrinkles at the bottom. Also it gives me a pointed shape. Unfortunately I think the problem is not the size but the shape(I had similar problems with cleo lucy). Maybe it fits better full on bottom breasts.
I feel so sorry that it doesn't fit because it's really cute.

Even though this is a size too big (the lace does not lay flat AT ALL but that's my fault for buying it) it gives an amazing round uplifted shape - exactly the shape I was looking for. The center gore is perfect width and the wings and wires enlose my breast tissue/armpit fat. Honestly the only issue is how open on top it is, whereas I'm an in between shape. I'd be curious how it would fit in a smaller size, but unfortunately it is no longer sold.

I am surprised at how well this one fits! I fairly guessed at my size, so yay!

This bra is borderline too separate for my boobs. I say borderline because everything is fairly comfortable, but I get a weird feeling when I put my arms forward that my boobs are in the way of my upper arms. Strange.

No quadraboob (yay!) and the wires enclose everything well. I do get a tiny amount of emptiness in the bottom of the cups, but it isn't too bad. Good lift and shape. Quite a bit more projection than I thought I'd get!

I think I like my Ewa bras a bit better, but ... I could see this being a good everyday bra. The only thing I would really change is having three clasps instead of two.

-ETA- After wearing this a few times, I don't think this is the bra for me. I need a bra with soft elastic under the center gore. With all the Panache bras I've tried, there is a stiff almost sharp piece of fabric that lines the bottom front of their bras and this cuts in to me pretty badly. I know the band itself isn't too tight. It is probably because I have acquired a bit of fat in this region right below the center gore where anything stiff just feels so uncomfortable. Definitely sticking with my comfortable Ewa bras!

-ETA 2- This bra fits in theory, but in practice... Well for some odd reason it keeps slipping down my ribcage so I end up with a bit of emptiness in the bottom of the cups. The bottom of the bra has gotten a lot comfier after a few washes, so this is only the second time I have had the courage to wear it. I don't think Cleo is the brand for me.

  8. This bra is pretty perfect for my boobs. The band is tight and secure, the cups have enough room for me to scoop and swoop my heart out and the bra lifts my boobs from the bottom, whist rounding them out on the top.
I have a slight problem with the central gore being too wide, but it is not too noticeable.
The matching thong which i have is quite tight - Cleo thongs seem to be very thin at the sides, which means muffin-top.. i have to size up two sizes for the thong to look nice!

  9. This bra is perfect for me, undrewires are not too narrow, the band is snug, the shape is round and lifted. Bra is very comfortable as well.

Overall, I really love this bra, although I had to make some modifications to get there. I'm a 28, but since this doesn't come in 28JJ or K, I had to make do with a 30J (like pretty much everyone, I sized down on this bra, as the cups run large). So I've had to have the band taken in, but that's pretty par for the course for me. The other big thing is that the straps are too long and stretched quickly into being way too long. I had them taken in, but they didn't take in enough so I will have to ... have them taken in further. Something that I really don't like about this bra is that the adjuster tightens by moving away from the solid part of the band, so you can't cheat and push it up past the elastic, and most of the band is the solid, non-adjustable part. Anyway, /endrant. With the back in and with the straps short enough (I have been using a bra barrette, but it's uncomfortable), the bra is great.

The shape is gorgeous. I really like a round, projected, out-front look, and this delivers. It's not a plunge, but it has low enough coverage that I can wear it with most necklines, and I have gotten compliments from my lady friends about how it looks under several outfits. The wires are somewhat wider than I would like, but more narrow than most I've seen, so that is nice. I still get some poking, unfortunately. The quality seems very high, and I have worn it quite a few times now without any sign of wear on the bra itself. I could use a little more padding on the wires, but I'm not getting any significant discomfort.

I really wish they would make this bra in some basic colors (nude, black, white), as the color and print make it a limited wear bra for me, which is unfortunate, as the shape is great.

Conclusion: adjustments and all aside, I would definitely recommend this bra.
