Gah, where to begin with this bra?

It is a very pretty bra with 3-part cups made of satin and mesh. The lower, satin part is not stretchy at all. The upper, mesh part, is very very very very stretchy.
The change in tension between the two makes for the worst in cup quadding yet for me. The band (which is made of the same mesh as cups, so very stretchy) runs loose, and the gore tacks perfectly on me. That's really all I can say in regards to how it fits on me.

Otherwise, the quality of the bra is superb, it has a lot of projection, very narrow and comfortable wires. The wires join at the gore which is fairly low compared to some other bras I've tried.

    The garnet colourway is amazing.

Unfortunately, this bra is not a friend of very soft tissue like mine. I imagine on someone with firm tissue it would work very very well.

    • Omg lol, this looks sooooo much better on you than it did on me!
You could probably do with a 30GG/H or 32 G/GG, which would get most the soft tissue into the non-stretchy part. I'm so upset that this company is gone. Soo beautiful and such high quality (before they moved to CA at any rate). Even if the sizing was a bit off....

    • Lol when I first put it on I nearly choked laughing. Like the nipple (I think it's even visible in one photo) actually turns sideways in the mesh part.

Yes, I bought another Claudette Paramour. It is just SO COMFORTABLE. This time I went a cupsize up - in part for the variety in size (I fluctuate a lot with pms) and also because the red wasn't available in any other sizes! It is a really great color, more of a deep red than a bright one (they called it "garnet" - my birthstone!) and I love the black accents with the bow and straps. The wings and lower panels of the cups are a solid silky fabric that's very soft to the touch, and the top portion is a fine mesh, which ... is both sexy and super comfortable.

Let me sing the praises of this fit. I find that Claudette's wires are consistently pretty narrow, which is exactly what I need! After being so disappointed by other brands' wide wires and shallow cups, it's reassuring to know that some brands out there cater specifically to a narrow root and extra depth and projection. My only complaint with the fit, and it's very minor, is how high up the cup goes - I would definitely consider this a "full cup" style, not a demi or balconette. I don't have much fullness way up top by my collar bones, so there is a tiny bit of wrinkling. But, like I said, it's barely even a point against it since I love this bra in every other respect. Like the 32F, this bra has fully adjustable straps and a 3 hook closure in the back so the support is distributed very evenly across my back and there are no pressure spots.

I can't wait to get my hands on some of Claudette's newest bras!

    ~Garnet/black, bought used.~

Underwires are a smidge too narrow for my larger breast. I'm liking where Cleo wires hit on me and this one is about a pinky finger narrower than my 32FF - Cleo » Lily Balconnet Bra (7351) when worn.

The band seems a bit too loose for me and I need it on the middle or tightest hooks right away or else it rides up (I measure 30in underbust). I got it used so I'm not sure how a new 32 would run. Love the 3 hook closure!

Cups are true to size, or maybe a teeny bit small (they fit my smaller breast a little ... better). A little shallow at the bottom and near the centre gore. It gives me a shape that's closer to Freya than Cleo i.e. more natural than round. The upper mesh section is stretchy and I love how it adapts without cutting in or anything. Definitely more full coverage than balconette.

Loveee how it looks, love the comfort and the 3 hook band.

I don't own it anymore. The dealbreakers for me were the wires - too narrow and I didn't want to bend them, and the band, it was just a little too loose and not enough to want to alter.
