I have the muted purple and magenta colour way. It is slightly too closed on top when I stand up straight or deeply inhale. I get slight wrinkling in the apex of the cup, like I do with seemingly all unlined bras now bc I'm very shallow at the apex. Gore too wide for me as on all bras... Creates a nice "rounded natural" shape. I love the smooth fabric, colour, and thin textured straps. The band runs very accurately TTS, I could not stretch it beyond 30". Wires are fairly firm. I won't be keeping this one. Ever since I gained weight and become more FOT i can't seem to find an unlined bra for my shape.
well, this bra kinda fits... however it's really uncomfortable. the wires are very thick and sturdy (not nice), the cups are not wide enough, and it's too high in the side. i would also say that the band fits more like a 28 than a 30. it's super pretty though!
Firstly, this bra most definitely runs small in the band - I'm usually a 32GG and the 34 band fit perfectly snug. I also think it's big in the cup - I should have ordered a 34FF regardless as I generally need to size down one cup for unpadded styles, but the amount of gaping I get on this bra is ridiculous, it sticks out over a centimeter out from my breast!
However, it's a lovely bra - the print is one of the crispest I have ever seen on clothing, the non-stretch lace half of the cup is sturdy and good quality, the fabric has a lovely satin-y ...feel to it. The wires are relatively narrow, on par with Panache Jasmine, and -very- firm.
My main qualm with this bra is the straps - they're wide and spaced nicely, however they are insanely difficult to adjust due to the lacey loops on the edges. They certainly won't slip down though! Also this particular bra is a bit too wide and a bit tall-winged for me, although I think this might have to do with it being too big on me. However if you're in this size range or higher and high wings bother you, this might not be the best choice. The gore is also very tall, this doesn't bother me but it might bother you.
I will be reordering this bra in a 34F, very excited to be able to wear it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> [Edit: check out the review for the 34F - Charnos » Sienna (129501) here] Read more 157 more words
So this is following from my previous review of the 34G - Charnos » Sienna (129501). The quality of the bra is the same as previously mentioned - feels great, straps are great, details are subtle, print is the crispest I've ever seen on fabric. Although on this particular bra I do have a fair few loose threads at the top of the gore, which is manageable but a bit concerning.
I had to size down two cup sizes as the 34G was more than a little bit ridiculous on me. I get the tiniest bit of quadding in this bra but I think that's more of ...a shape issue than sizing. The specific cut of the wings does frame my ToS quite noticeably, I probably wouldn't wear a sleeveless shirt with this bra.
I'm a little bit frustrated with the band as well, the band in the 34G was rock solid but this one fits more like a Panache/Pour Moi 34 - definitely still firm, but not a sure-fire size up. 32 would probably be too much of a gamble.
But - it fits! Technically. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> I can only manage a soft tack (I need so much projection at the gore that this doesn't remotely surprise me) and the non-stretch mesh upper is a bit finicky, but it's a lovely bra all the same and I'll certainly consider another Charnos.
This time round I also got the matching panty and my god is it comfortable. The fabrics are identical and feel amazing against the skin, even the mesh section. Highly recommended! Read more 158 more words
The sizing of the bra is wrong for me, so it is hard to evaluate the fit. First is is a good quality bra. The fabrics are soft and luxurious, the details of the straps are beautiful. The desing and fabrics are similar to Fantasie Alex Side Support Bra (9152) The size is weird, the band only streches to 29 inches! It is the smallest of all 30 bands I have tried. And the band is not very strechy. The cups are big, probably 2 cups bigger than panache/fantasie bras. They offer full coverage. Overall the Charnos Sienna fits like a Panache Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675) in size 28J The wires are very long and hard, which might be an interesting feature for tall women who have pendoulous breast.
