I have mixed feelings about this bra. It is well made for sure. The materials feel luxe to me, the band feels firm (unlike many of Chantelle's newer offerings), and the hardware solid. The cups are lined with a silky taupe fabric that feels smooth but makes the bra appear sheer. My favorite part is the straps, black with a cream running stitch down each side, pretty enough to not worry if they show.
But though my partner complemented the sexy appearance of the bra, I felt dowdy in it. I felt it overwhelmed my petite frame and was self-conscious of it showing over the neckline of my shirts. The gore was definitely too high for me as well.
So, I bought this bra on Mon (Feb 3), and it was actually the third in a long line of bras I tried on at my first ever bra fitting. Originally we discounted it because it gave me a little bit of a quad boob, but only slightly, and pretty much only on my bigger side. We went back to it because it was the one that was most comfortable/fit me/I liked best. She brought me a 32F to try on, but it was too big. Although, after having this for a few days, I'm curious how a 30F might fit. All in all it's pretty great, I ...mean, it's miles better than my old 34D bras. The tip of the gore is maybe a couple millimeters off my chest, but it mostly lies flat. Also, the band fluctuates between feeling too loose or too tight on occasion, but I think that's a body issue, not a bra issue, since it has more of a fixed size than me. The straps are actually split into two .25" straps until about halfway up, and sometimes rub together and make a noise, but I don't think it's super audible. Read more 90 more words
Accidentally bought this at a boutique for a lot of money when I was first getting some new bras, and it doesn't even fit all that correctly. It cuts into my armpits, the gore floats, the cup's too small, and any number of things now, but it could probably be comfortable for people it fits (so long as they don't have problems with the armpit).
The wires seem to be a good width, but they end up riding an inch too low and hurting my ribs. The bottom of the cup folds. Maybe It is too shallow. I am still working on this. It does look smooth under clothes and the top does not gape so long as I keep my shoulders back.
The size seems right, but this bra is not supportive on me. The line of the cups is almost horizontal on me, where it is more diagonal in the photos and on the empty bra. My boobs seem to push the cups out. Maybe the straps need to be tighter, but I can't wear my straps that tight because it hurts my shoulders. The center gore is very low and doesn't sit flat on my chest, which is unusual because my boobs are quite separate. I think the cups are just too low and the band too narrow to provide support for me.
When I first bought this, it fit well, but was a bit stiff and sometimes pokey. Then, there were about one or two days where it fit perfectly, but now it's not nearly as firm and supportive as it used to be. Even though I got it on sale, I'm pretty disappointed with what was supposed to be a quality bra.
I love this bra. It is the perfect tshirt bra, particularly good for lower cut vneck shirts. The cups are lightly molded so that nipples show through however.
It fits really tight around the ribs and is snug at the first hook. There is a lot of support. Sometimes I do feel like the cups do not fill at the top, particularly when I lean over as there is a tiny bit of gaping.
I recently purchased it but I get the feeling it will stretch out easily.
I am planning on buying another in a different colour because I love it so much!
This seems to be a very nice strapless bra, with silicone grippers on the upper portion of the band only, which makes it somewhat disappointing! I wonder if this amount of silicone is supportive enough without the straps! The band is actually not very stretchy at all, it has a full under band and the boning stitched in the side will help with it staying up. I don't think I can actually wear strapless bras anymore... for some weird reason these cups that are too large for me likes to press into my tissue at the top.
What I really like about this bra is that it has ...3 hooks and 4 rows of it! Never owned a bra with more than 2, actually. There is also a ribbon thing sewed in the cups on the side, which offer even more support. (Never had a bra with that either! It's very cool https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />) There is also a really nice little charm in the center of the bra. I actually think it's silver! Maybe wishful thinking huh :X There's no "925" stamp on it, but it is indeed a white metal. Read more 92 more words
In the right size, I think this bra would be perfect. But it isn't. On the first wearing, it seemed fine, but later I noticed gaping around the top of the cup - no good for the most expensive bra I purchased on my Nordstrom adventure!
It is beautiful though, and a very nice color - not quite nude, not quite pink. The lace around the top of the cup molds to my skin (or probably should) and would make it unnoticeable.
If I can find this bra in a 30DD, I will try it on and review it again.
Beautiful bra, great details (lace, embroidery, key hole between the breasts with small bow and jewels) hooks on the back of the strap are removable change to a cross back. Comfortable, lightly padded (when it's cold, you may be able to see nipples) Made of polyester, elastane, nylon.
Not enough support. I felt like my boobs looked lower than they needed to. Once I'd tightened the straps so that they looked like my breasts were in the right place, the straps were too tight.
