This bra is super comfortable, but doesn't fit the criteria I had when buying it; namely a nude bra that I could wear under a white button-down. The lace is very textured and shows up under fabric that is too thin or slightly sheer. It is, however, a great full-coverage bra for full busts. Definitely not something you could wear under a tank or a dress, but I can run to the bus without worrying that I'll have to subtly put an entire boob back into the cup, or hike my straps all the way back up my arms once I get there. I've had it about six months and worn it about a dozen times (I don't usually wear a bra) whenever I need something comfortable but classy under a dress shirt or something. Not the cutest bra, but it does the job.
This bra is comfortable, and at first I really liked it. Then I started getting picky with it and I found a few issues: the gore gaps a bit at the bottom and I get a small amount of pinching at the top of the cup. I think also it may be a bit too full coverage for my liking. It is a really nice bra in general.
Band fits fine, cups are just too small or too closed at the top. I was so happy to find a basic, comfortable dark brown bra that I bought it, and I shouldn't have. And it is comfortable, I just have extra boobs popping out the top. Ah well.
The band on the bra is very stretchy, even on the tightest hook it's not very firm. My underbust is about 31". I get slight quadboob after scoop and swoop, not enough to be very noticable under shirt. This bra is REALLY comfortable and gives a nice round shape. I'd like it in a smaller band and bigger cup.
I purchased this bra from a lingerie store back in June for $110. It's not a great fit, but it works. It stays up well and the straps are well designed. Because it's a 32 band, I wear this on the 2nd or 3rd set of hooks. I think a larger cup would be better.
This is a wonderful t-shirt bra for ladies with shallow breasts! The lace at the top of the cup helps to hide the edge of the moulded cup under extra thin shirts. The lace at the bottom of the band has an annoying tendency to roll up, but that's merely a superficial problem. This is really a hell of a bra. The construction is amazing. Boy i wish they made this in a 30 band. Maybe if i knew how to alter bands it could work, but my first try is not gonna be on a 90-dollar bra.
This is a very nice bra, but for me the fit is not right. The band is too big and rides up in the back, and I tend to spill out of the cups once this happens. Otherwise it is actually comfortable, I don't get any poking or digging along the wires. Again the straps don't adjust short enough for me, but her I had to tack them down to make them shorter. The cups are shallow, especially at the bottom, to create a lifted look, but in combination with the wide bridge the cleavage created looks more like spillage on me. I also found that the lace pilled up quickly, even though I only hand wash my bras, which was a disappointment.
The pros: This bra is so pretty! The lace is gorgeous. The inside of the cup has a soft satin feel that is glorious! The gore is nice and low. The pads are removable and I had to remove the pad on the left side as that breast is larger than my right. Overall, I would say this is a close enough fit. I may alter it later.
The cons: I did buy this bra used and I am more of a 30 band, so when I got it I immediately had to do it up on the tightest hooks. The straps are adjusted as tight as possible so over time I may have to alter those. I have soft tissue and close set breasts so I am very slightly falling out the center. Not enough to be concerned, but that is probably where I will make the first alteration.
This is a beautiful bra. While high quality, the fabric was not as soft as I am used to for Chantelle's but may soften with washing and wear. The straps were pretty far apart, even for my wider shoulders and I was not sold on the accordion shape of them, at least not for all day wear. I prefer a flatter strap for that.
The wires and gore were perfect for me, perfectly encapsulated my breasts. The cups are a bit shallower, but this worked great with my breast shape (little to no projection due to implant reconstruction). Normally I do not like plunges as I prefer feeling a ...little more secure, but I felt quite secure in this bra.
I did find the band really stretchy, not unusual for Chantelle's. I think a 30 might be perfect for me. Perhaps I will try it and that might also solve the straps being too wide issue, as otherwise the bra felt perfect.
I did not like the little "c" charm, a little too hokey for me, but the rest of the bra details were lovely, this is a very pretty, delicate in appearance but very well made, bra. Read more 87 more words
Cute & comfortable, although I could have gone down a band size and the cups are a little wide for me. It's a nice, seamless moulded t-shirt bra, and I like the cross-over gore and separation.
I wanted to try the 70E out since I was getting quad boob in my 70D, but everything except the wire width in this size just feels way too huge. I found the band size ran large in both, and I'm just swimming in this one. The gore is taller (which is no good for my close-set breasts) and straps are quite a bit thicker as well.
This is quite a pretty bra, but it doesn't seem very supportive. It seems very stretchy. Like all the other Chantelle bras I've tried at Nordstrom, it is just not for me. This particular one cuts across my breast tissue and creates a diagonal quad boob. Because the bra is so stretchy, it doesn't show that much (or hurt), but it's not what I'm after. Back to Nordstrom's with it. I have found better luck online with Fantasie and Panache. Nordstrom's carries the brands, but not in the smaller band sizes. I wear a 30F/30FF
This may be one of my favorite bras. It is extremely comfortable and supportive. My only complaint (which is really just my personal taste) is that it is almost too separating. I feel like my boobs are totally front and center in this, if that makes sense. Initially, I get the tiniest bit of quadboob near the gore. After wearing for a couple of minutes, this goes away. I thought that the 70F would be a better fit, but I'm not sure about that any more. It seems that the cups are a bit on the larger side for an E, so if you are between and E ...and an F, perhaps size down. It's so stretchy that it seems forgiving. If you have a lot of center fullness, you may find that the elastic along the top of the cup digs in and gives you quadboob. That is probably the main shape issue with this bra.
As far as appearance goes, it's pretty average. It's definitely not a bra I would wear to wow my husband. There are much cuter options out there. But for a daily driver? Not too shabby. I would imagine the cut looks less matronly on taller folks with a longer torso. Shorter gals may find that the cups come up really high on the chest. Read more 112 more words
I'm not sure if this happens to bustier ladies, but I get a really weird speed bump due to the padding at the bottom that does not go all the way to the top. It looks really weird, even under a shirt. Do you pull out the padding? Am I missing something?
