  1. Oh HAPPY DAY!!!! I am SO GLAD I decided to give this bra a try! I was seriously on the brink of giving up on "unlined" bras, and swore they just were not meant for my shape. And, alas, Chantelle to the rescue!! Every other single unlined bra I have tried just did not fit right and they ALL gave me pointy boobs! I just assumed that was the look unlined bras gave. But I absolutely LOVE this bra! It gives my girls such an awesome, round, natural-looking shape and I can actually wear this bra under any shirt! It gives nice projection, too (unlike my Cleo Lucy ... which seemed to minimize the girls and flatten the sides). The cups on this fit me like a glove, they are perfect https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The wires are perfect width, the gore is just the right height, not too high causing the wires to dig into my sternum. The sheer top seems to be at just the right part and my nipple does show but it kinda makes the bra sexier https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> This can definitely be an everyday bra for me, it is pretty comfy. The ONLY problem I have with this is the band, but that's my own fault. It feels a tad loose but I couldn't find a 30F and I REALLY just wanted to try it cuz I had a good feeling so I settled for my sister size in the 32DDD. I am def hanging onto this one until I come across a 30F. This bra is perfect for my girls, and I have even fullness, round, "surgically enhanced" boobs. You would think ANY bra would work for me, but that def isn't the case. If you're looking for a nice round, NOT pointed, look, I highly recommend this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Update: After wearing this ALL day, I'm happy to say it was very comfy, no problems https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I didn't have to readjust or fuss with it constantly. The band was the only issue I had, but that was expected since I normally wear a 28/30 and this was a 32. The back did start riding up a bit, and I had to tighten the straps to prevent the cups from wrinkling. I could def use a 30F in this one. But I can still wear this one. I still love this bra! I was able to wear it under a sweater and had a nice rounded look, not pointed or unnatural looking. I LOVE this bra!

The straps are a little wide. Not so wide as to make it unbearable or even uncomfortable, usually. But sometimes if I move a certain way, they dig a little. Any wider and they would be bad for me, but as they are they're okay. That's really the only con I have for this bra. Everything else fits nicely and is comfortable.

This bra's fit is amazing. It gives a full round appearance, the band is tight enough to offer plenty of support, the straps are fully adjustable and long enough. The center gore sits right against my sternum and the wings on the side come up far enough to hold in all the breast tissue without cutting into my underarm. Despite it being lace, the seams are all flat enough to not show through my t-shirts. All around the most wonderful bra I've ever owned... and SEXY too! The only con is that at first it was a bit scratchy, but after a few days of wear and a few washes it no longer bothers me.

    Pros:
    >A nude bra that fits me! I've mostly only found Cleo bras to fit me, and I love that they're bright and happy, but a girl needs some nude.
    >A plunge bra that fits me! Oh my gosh. My boobs ALWAYS fall into the middle and quad it up, but not on this one!
    >Gorgeous
    Cons:
    >The center gore DIGS into my sternum. Red marks and pain. Yikes. Even when I add an extender to loosen the whole band it doesn't seem to help. I'm going to hold out for a few more wears. I really hope it settles down! The center gore is very narrow and low. This makes for a great plunge, and good for lots of folks. I've never experienced this - don't know if it's because of the lowness, the narrowness, or what.

I don't know what I was thinking sizing up in the cup in such a comparatively shallow bra--my only excuse is I desperately needed a lower cut black bra as I wanted to be able to wear more of my black shirts, many of which were cut too low for the nursing bras I'd been wearing quite some time.

Naturally, the inevitable happened: the too-wide wires hurt my sides, the shallow cup still flattened my profile and looked strange under shirts, the whole bra felt oddly tight even though I have others which measure the same or smaller (but when half the bra is taken up by unfilled underwire, ... the stretch in the band itself can't help you, and it just hurts).

Anyway. This bra is clearly NOT for the more projected boob. Shallower shapes will probably find a good fit.

The materials are good quality and the bra is well-made with a lot of attention to detail. Band seems to be made of very firm material, which I like. It's not my taste--Chantelle has repositioned itself design-wise to extend its global appeal by adding a great number of these caricaturally "Fifi the French maid" Disneyland-French designs, which I find cheap and cheesy, not to mention lacking in exoticism as I am French myself. However, to the non-French eye it is probably a cute bra, and I admit I'm curmudgeonly about these things (see above).

Although I have some fit issues with this bra, I'm going to call it a win since it's actually comfortable. I tried a 65F previously which should have fit based on my measurements. I just couldn't fill it out and the wires were wide enough for the bra to cut in at the front of my armpits. Sizing down in the cup to the 65E works much better. Nice smooth line at the top of the cups (I most often gape), and comfy strap width. Wires are still maybe a touch too wide, but not uncomfortably so. There's some unavoidable wrinkling along the outside bottoms of the cups- I'm somewhat wide rooted, but my inframammary fold is more V shaped on the outside of my breasts. Since wires are U shaped, when they're wide enough for me at the top of the cup, they tend to leave a gap of empty space along the outer bottom. I'm happy enough with the rest of this bra's fit to live with it.

I'm on the fence. The top cup seam wrinkles a bit, but I think it is due to how it is sewn - since it's wrinkled when I don't have it on too (Think they might have stretched the fabric slightly while sewing). The band feels snug since I think it is max stretched for me on the farthest hook. This might be how bras are supposed to fit, but I am not used to having bands on this tight. (I am just beginning my search for proper fitting bras - I have been wearing 34 bands for years....thanks VS).

Fabric is beautiful. Straps adjust the entire length ... and are cute accordion texture.

I tend to have problems with some bras cutting into the top of the breast causing quad boob and point looks; however this one does NOT do that. Nice smooth rounded shape.

I think I could wear this bra, but as it is, it isn't very comfortable. The bra's cups seem to not be hitting my body in the right place and are wanting my breasts to be closer together than they are; however the cup size seems correct (since if i slide the bra off center it fits in the cup). I wonder if going up to a 70C (32C) would fix that problem?

  8. I absolutely adore this bra! It was my first since having a BA, and when I went to get professionally fitted, it was incredible to try on bras and finally feel how a bra is supposed to fit. I felt like I just learned that I had been wearing my pants on backward for my whole life - a pure revelation. While obviously beautifully constructed, its comfort level is amazing every time I wear it. It's a little troublesome to do the whole "hook it upside down and then flip up the cups" operation, because the cups only go one at a time and ... puts stress on the gore, which I am worried about wearing out too quickly. Aside from that, I love the beautiful straps, which are so detailed that I don't mind at all if they show, and the cup is full enough to make me feel very supported while not being so high that I can't wear low cut tops and vnecks. All in all, this bra has been the best bra that I have ever worn and hope to get a few more with recommendations through your wonderful site.

The fitter described this as a bra that fits anyone. Unfortunately not me, but I'm not sure it's the bra's fault. I bulge out of plunges with wear, although at first the cups were nice and flat. The pattern is subtle and pretty. I think that if it fit me, this could be an every day bra. It isn't uncomfortable, though as with most 36 bands I've tried, it just stretches too far.

  10. This was the bra that the fitter at Nordstrom used to fit me, and it is absolutely fantastic. I don't usually go for bras this lightly padded, but I love the way it fits itself to my breasts - the padding is just enough so that my nipples don't show through at all, but the cup completely molds itself to my breasts, and feels fantastic. The straps don't fall even when I slouch, which has always been one of my biggest issues with bras. Of course, the lace means it isn't wearable as a t-shirt bra, but a thin camisole or a thick shirt can solve that problem. ... I almost want to buy another one in black - I could see this becoming a great bra!

What surprises me most about it is how great my cleavage looks even without any padding. It's no push-up, but in a low-cut shirt, I'm hopeful that it will impress.

The straps are ridged on top, which you can feel against your skin if you shrug your shoulders high enough, and it's not the most pleasant feeling but otherwise this bra is totally awesome.
