I really wanted this bra to fit me. I recommend going up a cup size - my regular 70I is definitely a little too small and sadly they didn't have the size up.
The bra fits somewhat like a minimizer for my bottom heavy breasts, it seems like my breast tissue is more shallow and goes higher than usual in this bra. The profile is nicely rounded though, if a little less curvy than usually.
There is no elastic leading from the strap to the side underwire - the fabric just lies loose there. This could be bad news for people who need tightness in that area but the ...high-ish underwire and full coverage shape made it a non-issue for me.
The band seems true to size.
I really like how the bra looks, both the brown colour and the subtle embroidery. The pink detailing compliments the brown well. The embroidery and detailing lies rather flat and will only show under very thin materials.
Bra construction is not as up to par to with what I'm used to from Change Lingerie. There were a few loose threads and imperfect seams.
Sadly this bra is pretty hard to wear for one silly reason (and the other styles with the same fabric have the same problem) - there's the tiniest yet scratchiest decorative detail at the bottom of the band. It absolutely drove me nuts so I cut it off. Unfortunately the improvement was only marginal as the tiny ends of threads left over from cutting the detailing off are almost as scratchy and as the whole thing is sewn into the band it's impossible to remove completely. I cut off straps off a cami and wear it as a bra liner under the bra to be able to wear it.
Be careful about those beige bras with pink detailing, make sure to run your finger along the bottom of the band! Read more 206 more words
The bra is a really appealing light yellow shade, doesn't have greenish/lemony undertones or orange/egg yolk undertones.
I thought it wouldn't bother me that the cup is too wide but it does. Meh. I got it in a size up because the 70H is slightly small in the cups. It would be a staple if it wasn't as wide but as it is I have only worn it for a couple of hours.
Unlike the 70H I also have in this model the bottom part of the cup has two sections and is reinforced with a soft lining material. This makes the cups a slightly less stretchy. The top ...section is still very stretchy and has an elasticated top edge making it great for a variety of breast shapes.
Change's full shapers are really good minimizers, instead of pushing breast tissue to the sides they pull everything in and up - they sort of shallowify breasts. I think they achieve this by using a plunge cut (extremely diagonal seaming with a large bottom part and a small upper part) with a full cup shape.
The straps are fully adjustable.
This model is more projected than some other of their full shapers (like the Sofias I also have). Read more 95 more words
this bra was very comfortable, the straps could be adjusted fully which i love. the bra slightly squished my breasts but they felt very secure and didn't bounce.
