About me: I am probably full on bottom, a little wide set, and projected (mainly at the bottom). My underbust is roughly 28 inches (maybe a little bit under), and my bust roughly 31 (standing) and 32 (leaning). My suggested ABTF calculator measurement is 28DD or 30D for comfort.
After "scoop and swoop"ing and wearing for several non-consecutive days, here are my thoughts:
PROS: - Look: looks very nice, especially the lace and the extra inner decorative straps (they're elasticised so they run nicely on my chest). - Sturdy: seems like it won't break or wear down too easily.
CONS: - Too shallow: My main issue with this bra is that it is too ...shallow and compresses the bottom half of my boobs. When I lift my arms up all the way and bring them back down, the cup feels like it's riding a little bit up onto my boob, and I get a little bit of spillage at the top. - Band doesn't fit right: it's tight and I have light red marks at the end of the day. - Band itchy: I already tried using a vinegar soak to soften it up, which helped, but still a little irritating. The balconette shape worked well for me. I like that it has an elastic band going over the top of the lace, so it can fit my smaller breast (apprx a C cup) ok.
This bra has removeable push up inserts, so I was able to adjust for breast size asymmetry. The ABTF calculator has me at a size 30DD UK or a 65F EU. Change lingerie sizing is weird, however. When I tried this bra in a 65E it was too tight.
Generally comfy! It does feel a bit scratchy at the top of the cup where the strap attaches, because it has removeable plastic hooks. The bra can convert to halter and criss cross. Technically it can be strapless, but it is not really shaped for that.
This is the first bra I tried on after calculating my new size. The wires are sitting on top of my breast tissue in the middle however I don’t think it is a sizing issue, I am close set so I feel that any wires at that height will be the same. The wires are also too wide on the outside. It’s a beautiful bra otherwise, disappointed it’s not going to work out for me.
Unfortunately I forgot that Change Lingerie doesn’t understand that US =/= UK sizing and ordered the wrong size (meant to order a 32F in UK, got a 32F in US), so the cups are WAAY to small. That being said, I actually really like the material (very breathable but doesn’t feel like it will rip). Will have to wait until the correct size comes back in stock!
Fits quite comfortably, although the underwire goes a bit too high under the armpits and the straps are sitting quite far apart which rubs against my armpits and shoulders. (But this problem is quite common for me)
Quite a cute bra and has resisted very well to a few years of wear, as I found Change Brad usually do!
It's a comfortable bra. For wide and shallow people, this brand is pretty good (your mileage may vary with the brand since I tried on another bra from this brand and it was too shallow for my shallow breasts). This fits perfectly for me. The band is just the right amount of snug to feel slightly tight but not too tight. The one downside is quality. I actually got four bras from this brand to try, including this one, and they all had poor finishings. Loose threads everywhere, rough edges, and even an uneven gore! The gore on this bra I got was slightly slanted. It's more obvious when I put it on. I don't know if I got a bad batch but for the full retail price, I would've expected better quality. Luckily I bought these on sale and there are free returns. I would not pay full price for this bra or the others I tried from this brand.
This is one of the first sports bras that I've owned where I feel like it really fit. It's a sports bra, so it's the usual polyamide and stretch, and there's exactly zero separation... but am I weird for not wanting separation in a bra? I've grown since I got it, and it's spilling out the sides a bit, but it is still really supportive and comfortable. I'll add that I have in fact repaired it - the velcro on one of the straps pretty much disintegrated, so I just added a new strip on to it, but that's likely due to excessive wear rather than bad quality. I've just ordered another one in a teal colour and a cup size up (S5) so I'll review that when it arrives.
Not suitable for anyone with close-set breasts or that has a problem with high wires in the side. Very elastic but keeps it shape well, I use it as a low-impact sportsbra since it doesn't matter if it tacks then. The fabric is a bit scratchy, especially the straps, but overall it's a fairly comfy bra as long as I don't wear it too long. It supports my heavy boobs very well.
One of the most comfortable fit bras. Something is just too right about this one, the material, shape and fit. Gives nice shape, is well plunge and also lets my very close boobs sit without being squashed. Fits perfectly for girls, who cant wear balconette or any other high gore. It doesn't poke inbetween boobs or doesnt make your ribs ache. Color is slightly boring, but hey at least it's blue not some "yet another black/nude/white/granny"..
Fit: Definitely fits better and is designed for smaller breasts. From 70F (and sister sizes) the cut changes and becomes quite shallow and rather tall on the sides - in smaller cups it shines, though. Change plunges in smaller cups have a low side wing, wide underwires, and for Camille also a rather closed top. There is a version of the plunge that has an overall shallower, rounder and more open on top shape, but Camille and most plunges have a more forward and then closed on top shape. Really great if your breasts have a somewhat conical shape, or if your breasts have width but not much ...top fullness. With the pads in the cups fit small, without the pads a little bit large in cup, for some people it's possible to size down without pads. Multiway straps can be used to add additional oomph by wearing them crossed in the back or as halterneck.
Construction: Classic three piece plunge shape. Lightly padded with push up pads (size and thickness varies with bra size). There is no side boning, and the side seam is only used on the inner side of the two layer band - the outer is a smooth matte fabric, the inside is powermesh. Two hook closure with narrow spacing (wide in larger sizes). Multiway straps that are partially removable and can be used as cross back or halterneck.
Appearance: Camille plunge is a simple everyday bra in the continuity Basic collection. It comes in uniform white, black, or taupe. The only decorations are an elasticated semi-abstract stretch lace trim along the entire lower edge of the band and a minimalist bow in matching color at the center gore. The straps have a very subdued woven pattern resembling the trim along the lower edge. Read more 189 more words
