Cup volume feels about right. Depth is good enough but a touch small. Cup width could be wider. Basically everything looks good after a thorough swoop and scoop. My ideal bra would have a slightly wider cup with more depth at the outside. This bra sculpts an inner fullness I don't have by rearranging my outer fullness. It looks nice for parading around my bedroom, and is comfortable enough to wear, but I would be more comfortable in a bra that matches and supports my shape more closely.
The band runs a full size small on this bra. My usual size is 28DD or 30D, but the 30D's cups were way too small. I ordered the 30DD and it is very tight -- fits like a small 28DD. I should have ordered 32D. Therefore, I'd recommend going up a band size in this bra and keeping the cup size the same. In other words, if you measure 36C, order 38C in this one first.
Other than the fit issue, this bra is nice for a strapless bra. Built-in "customized" padding is thicker or thinner depending on cup size. The cups are smooth and a little on the stiff side when brand new; the lace is soft. There are silicone strips inside the band to reduce slipping. A good value. Purchased Spring 2010 from Bare Necessities.
I love this bra, and it fit amazing..in the beginning. After wearing it everyday for a month, it stretched out. I'm 34" snug underbust, and after a month it was completely riding up. The material is amazing, and the bra is amazing.. except how much and how quickly it stretches out.
I just purchased this bra. My first assessment is that this bra fits good and comfortably.
The band fits snug, holding the bra in place while raising my arms and moving around. The wires sit nicely against my chest. I have not experienced any trouble with them digging into my chest yet. There is some minor quad boob effect on my left breast, due to its slightly larger size. However, the cup creates a smooth line on my right breast. One cup size larger was too big, so I settled for this fit. The only concern I may have is whether or not the wires will begin to dig into ...my chest.
Edit: After wearing the bra for 12+ hours, I have a couple complaints. My first complaint is that there is little to no padding around the wires. This causes me to notice and feel minor discomfort from the wires at times. I am very petite with little fat covering my rib-cage. As such, I have trouble with wires pushing into my ribs causing discomfort. This bra would be much more comfortable if so cushioning (not padding in the cups, but specifically around the wire itself) was added.
My second complaint is about the band. For me specifically, the 30 band fits fairly well, better than any bra I've owned before. Although, I can fit more than two fingers under the band when in the loosest position. I feel as though a 28DD/E would probably fit more snuggling and have less chance of moving around. However, after having the bra on for 12+ hours straight, the band started to cause discomfort due to its tightness. Since the elastic running through the band is two, or more, separate pieces, it causes pressure points under the elastic. I would like to note that if wore for fewer hours at a time, this may not be an issue. I feel this bra would be made more comfortable it the band was more of a solid piece, similar to that of the Maidenform Dream T-shirt Bra.

Saskia_C If you live in the United States, Nordstrom usually has 30D in Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, and Natori. Dillard's has 30D in b.tempt'd. If you like your Calvin Klein bra, I suggest looking at Betsey Johnson, b.tempt'd and Aerie.

Full disclosure: this bra does not fit me. This will exacerbate all of my complaints, as even well-fitted strapless bras can be difficult to get along with.
I really avoid wearing this. Even in strapless dresses, I sometimes cheat and use a cardigan or just let my straps show rather than wear this bra underneath. It's not out-and-out painful, but it's sort of scratchy and is not a bra that lets you forget about it. I am very conscious of wearing this bra. And, since the 30 band is too large for me (I wear this on the tightest hook), the bra tends to slip down my torso throughout ...the day, the underwire leaving red marks about half an inch below my boobs. =(
Now, my fit issues aside, I have to imagine this would stay put pretty well on someone who had a 30 back. It has two strips of silicone, along the top and bottom edge of the band, to keep the bra in place. It is notably tighter than the average 30, as you'd expect of a strapless. And of course it's a Calvin Klein bra, meaning it's great quality and made out of lovely materials. One bummer is that the tag is not printed on the band (i.e. tagless), like in the other CKs I own, and I find that the tag is very itchy (and it curls easily!).
However, my biggest complaint about this bra is with the cups. Specifically, the outside of the cups are too smooth. If I'm wearing a strapless dress made out of cotton, spandex, or any other stretchy fabric, the bra causes it to slide down! These elastic dresses meant to stay up due to tension can't achieve the necessary conditions to avoid slipping. So while the bra works fine under fitted, zip-up dresses, it's a total no-go for your average strapless sundress.
Due to it's somewhat itchy qualities and incompatibility with stretchy tops/dresses, I'd only recommend this bra for wear under formal dresses. It's best when you wear it for five hours or less. Read more 233 more words
Calvin Klein 2892 gives nice cleavage and lift, and it is great that is it both seamless and tagless. I do wish the straps were a tiny bit wider for better support, because at just 3/8" wide, they feel a little thin. The lace gets itchy after wearing for a long time, so this is not really an all-day bra. I bought it for special occasions and am happy with it.
Seems to be a good idea but cup size is too small. I would say this fits 34C (or 36B if band stretches with wear). Cup has raised push up edge inside so it reduces the cup volume.
I need long straps so this does not work for me at all. Bra is listed for sale here on bratabase.
32D - Calvin Klein » Sheer Marquisette Unlined Demi Bra (QF1680 is a sheer, see-through bra featuring stretchy mesh underwire cups that give breasts a natural look yet are somehow still durable, supportive, and comfortable. So comfortable I've slept in it a few times and imagine I'll continue to do so in the future. Let it be known there is NO extra side support in the cups. The tops of the cups feature sewn-on elastic with 'Calvin Klein' printed repeatedly every 3 or 4 cm. In the 32D, the elastic caused a smidge of quadboob (I have tall roots though so it's a constant struggle). The ...front is bandless. The gore is the same mesh as the cups just doubled over; It doesn't stretch. The wings are the same mesh as the cups too with sewn-on elastic at the top and bottom; these have a lot of stretch to them. The straps on this bra are wide-set and have two sections, a front section, and a back section. So, the bra isn't fully adjustable. The front straps are elastic with NON-STRETCH stitching and have Calvin Klein written on them. The back straps are plain, elastic, stretchy, and have a coated metal adjuster. The back has a hook and eye closure with 2-rows and 3-columns of eyes. I have tall and wide roots with average projection, fairly evenly distributed, and overall, I really enjoy this bra. It's quite sexy and comfortable. A win-win situation. Personally, I should probably order the next size up (29.5" underbust, 36" bust) but this works for now. The 32DD - Calvin Klein » Perfectly Fit Modern T-shirt Bra (F3837) is a lightly lined, full coverage, t-shirt bra that features a very soft microfiber stretch material in the band, gore, and straps. The band runs small but stretches out quickly with wear, and then it doesn't budge. I would anticipate a "breaking in" period with this model in one's true size. The wide-set straps are good for broad shoulders and have color-matched metal hardware. So, in nymph pink, the hardware is also pink. The straps are half soft microfiber stretch material and half elastic. Like the band, the microfiber part of the straps tends ...to stretch out with wear -- which is my only real complaint with this bra. One has to really be EXTREMELY careful about pulling on them. I've found the band and the top half of the straps have a hard time returning to their previous state once pulled. By the end of the day, the straps are usually falling off my shoulders and consequently, I'll have to tighten them. The straps are also not fully adjustable, just FYI. The back hook-and-eye closure is faintly cushioned and has 2-rows and 3-columns (in the 32DD). The thin 3/16" underlined cups are made of memory foam and for the most part, do well under t-shirts. The underwire and cups give a nice round shape to my tall rooted, averagely projected chest. The cups are supposedly made of a type of stretch material as well and I've heard people say the cups formed to their chest. However, I haven't noticed anything except that the cups stretch out with wear (much like the straps, band, and gore). Also, it should be said that there are no seams; everything has just been fused together. I assume this is part of what makes it hand wash only. However, I threw it in the wash and dryer and it came out like new. I had to break it in again. I'll probably get less mileage on it like this, but... This bra makes me feel very East-West, and almost like I could fall out the middle. I really wish the cups were closer together, but I suppose this bra is made for someone more wide-set than me. The fabric is plenty soft and silky, and is a pleasant baby-pink color. I altered the band to be the correct size for me, and have had no issues with that aside from my own frumpy sewing job. The cups are set far enough apart that they extend past my boobs and the high part of the cup cuts into my underarm, but that shouldn’t be a problem for more wide-set ...folks Altering the back solved the straps-cutting-in issue I had with this same bra in the other colorway, since now the band is providing most of the support. The straps are still much thinner than I’d like, but only dig in very slightly and aren’t really painful anymore. They multiway in the back, which is simple to hook and unhook, and are plenty long enough. I like the elastic-y, thick band a lot, and wish more bras, especially with large cups, were availible with these types of bands. This bra is a push-up. It has graduated foam with "inner cookies" on the sides to create cleavage. The cups are small for me (I believe I should be wearing the 32E) but I am keeping it for when I want cleavage as some clothes can hide the quadboob pretty well. The center gore is odd: it's not very wide on top but it flares more than usual (it's 6 cm wide at the bottom).
The inner part of the cups is really soft and I am now wearing it on my sensitive/itchy skin days even though the fit is not too good.
This bra's band runs so small. I originally ordered this in my usual 32D, and it fit like a tight 30DD, maybe even a 28DDD! I exchanged for a 34C and that fits perfect. Maybe the +4 rule does apply to this model? The gore works on my close set breast. I always have problems with front close bras and this one I have no problems. The cups are also shorter so they don't dig into my front armpit area.
Finally a bra that actually fits! Like many I'd worn the wrong size for years, so I followed Bratabase's measurements and recommendations and order this bra based on those. For reference my sizes are 30DD/E and 32DD/E and I am 5'6'' with bottom heavy breasts. This bra, while not the fanciest, is very comfortable and feels really silky-smooth on my skin. It is able to properly support my breasts and doesn't leaving gaping or wrinkles at the top like my other ill-fiting bras do.
This was made for a higher projected breast but works acceptably for lower projected breast tissue. Bra is just too small for me so I want to allow someone else to enjoy it.
This bra has really soft and comfy fabric & feels great on the skin! The cups are a shape mismatch for me though, as I'm starting to quad out of it while having empty space near the top/lace. I think it would be better who was FOT. Also the cups are too seperate for me.
The cups fit my measurements perfectly, and the underwire is the perfect length. The band is a bit too big for me (I wish they made these in 28 band sizes), so I wear it on the tightest clasp. For a strapless bra, it is too bad it only has 2 hooks instead of 3, for extra support and security. I find it does slip a bit, and also sits low on the breasts due to the push-up style padding at the bottom half of the cups since it is a strapless and there are no straps to keep the cups sitting higher. My breasts tend to displace ...the bra and make it slide down, so it fits better in the actual space of the cup, rather than where the padding is (the point of a push-up bra is that the padding pushes your breast tissue up by displacing it). Not the best fitting strapless bra because of how low it ends up sitting after awhile. Maybe if I did have a 28 band though, this wouldn't happen? I also have a lot of flesh around the armpit area (I think because of my pectoral muscles rather than fat). The bra's cups cut into this flesh near my armpit, even though there is no quad boobing otherwise (see photos).

Great design, seems like it would stay on well as a strapless for those who are more full on bottom. Didn't work out for me due to a quad-boob effect and it's just a bit tad in the band.
I thought this fit fine until I found out it's the wrong size. The main problem I have is that the underwire digs in at times and the straps slide off my shoulders constantly. I have three of this same bra/size and I have had them for years.
