I really wanted to love this bra, but it isn't going to work out.

This was my first spacer bra, and I really like the material. The whole thing is nice and soft, and I love the flexibility of the foam. It's so light and airy and comfy! Unfortunately, this bra was not made very thoughtfully, so there is a weird bubble at the tops of the cups because the cup itself is way too open, but the band that creates the upper edge is much too tight/closed. So there's a big gap on the inside, but the edge cuts in and causes quadding. Super weird.

The band is too ... stretchy for me, so this bra wants to move around too much (I don't generally have any business buying something larger than a 28, but I thought I'd give it a shot). The straps are only half adjustable, and I wish they could adjust shorter to help try to flatten those bubbles out (I've never wished for -shorter- straps before...).

The wires are an okay width for me, and the bra itself is very comfortable. The gore doesn't bother me a bit, either. But all in all, this was a fail for me. Hopefully I will find a spacer bra in my size one day which works out better!

    • I've had similar bubbles in my Simone Perele bras - maybe it is a common issue with these bras.

I really wish this bra worked for me, but it's just a bit small in the cup. A 30DDD would be perfect, but B.tempt'd doesn't make that size for this model.. Sigh. A few other Wacoal 30DD bras have fit me better, but this cup is less forgiving to top fullness or maybe fits a touch small?

I've become a bit addicted to spacer bras recently, so I'd rank this somewhere between Fantasie and Simone Perele. I like the cut better than the Fantasie Rebecca. The lower gore on this bra helps it to be more flattering and less full coverage on me. The material seems a bit softer. ... Meanwhile, I think Simone Perele is softest and most attractive, but the bands run loose - this band fits pretty true to size. I rank the appearance as okay because while I like the cut, the gore bow detail is infuriatingly childish to me - what is this, a bra for preteens? I mean, I guess that's okay, just not for me. Of course, if the bra fit better, I would just snip it off.

Ok so I just had breast reduction surgery 2 months ago. I'm still swelling a bit but am sick of wearing bandini bras with no shape. Dr said I am free to now wear underwires. So I bought this bra because it was only $20 and that's good because it may not fit in a couple months. I bought the 30dd based on the cup depth and my measurements. (I need about an 8 inch depth) But it is at least a cup size too small!! Whoever measured this bra and got even close to a 8 inch cup depth must have a magic measuring tape. There is no way this cup is deeper than a 7!

So I ordered a 32dd since there is no 30ddd. I will be sending this one back. The band was a little tight anyway on my insicions. Just need it to fit me for a couple months until I am fully healed and can invest in full bra wardrobe when o know my final size.

I really wanted to like this bra--nice and lightweight, super soft almost fabric-like cups (they almost feel like a thin layer of memory foam--it's a really squishy, flexible molded cup), seemed to feel great even though I knew it was too small in the cup, but...

If I actually wear it (once!), fit issues show up, and it is not comfortable, simply because it is the wrong size/cut for me. The edging at the top of the cups is also not very stretchy/flexible, so I'd suggest not sizing down in the cup if you're close, although I do think it fits a little large cup-size wise?

I'm not entirely sure on my shape, but believe I'm either even or slightly FOB, or even, and possibly a 30FF (give or take a cup size).

This bra fits ok for the first bra after my breast reduction surgery. I measure a 30dd but this bra runs small in the cup. Plus I needed a looser band for my insicions. The gore is too wide so I plan to alter it. I'm going to keep this since it was only $20. This will be my go to bra until I'm more fully healed.

This is indeed a "fabulous" spacer bra. I was specifically looking for a lightweight, relatively comfortable bra I could use when working around the house and this one fits the bill. Originally I thought I would go wire-free, but wire free bras cause me to get achiness around my boobs after several hours' wear because of the compression and lack of support.

I'd been eyeing this bra for a few months and I'm glad I gave it a try. I am right between cup sizes, as usual, so there is a bit of space in the tops of the cups. That is common ... for me with contour cups, but it is not noticeable and doesn't seem to affect the support. Were I to go down a cup size that top edge would definitely cut into me. Interestingly, you can see this "bubble" of space on most of the model photos so this may just be the shape of this bra.

The molded spacer fabric is very soft, thin, and light -- not at all like regular molded contour cups, which can sometimes feel like cardboard. These cups are stretchy and so they don't provide firm support like my seamed bras -- nor did I expect them to do so. Again, since this is an "at home" bra for me, this wasn't an issue but it may be for others.

The band is just firm enough; I anticipate moving in to the middle hook within a few months. It has a lot of give in it, and I was very surprised that it stretched to only 28.5 inches because I've had other bras that measure 28.5-29" that are almost painful to wear; obviously they must be much firmer fabric.

This bra overall seems like it will wear faster than some others, namely my Cleo ones, which again is okay for what it is. On the whole I'm happy with this purchase and I will probably order this again.

    UPDATE:
I never wear this bra because the underside of the straps is very scratchy. They are finished in such an odd way... instead of being either 1) conventional strapping elastic or 2) fabric covered straps, the front straps are strips of trimming that are bound on the underside and then stitched along their length (see photo). It feels okay at first but within an hour or two I have to take the bra off because that stitching is painful on my shoulders. I won't order this again.

    • What color did you get it in? I am thinking about getting the bra in Naturally Nude/Ivory cause I'm looking for a cream colored bra.

I'm a 28DDD based on self measurement, but I wanted a properly fitted bra ASAP, so I went into Dillards. They do not carry 28s usually, so I tried this 30DD. Feels great for my first bra that fits, the gore hits where it should be. However, I feel like some of my armpit boobage doesn't quite fit on the right side, even with a swoop and scoop. This is probably due to uneven breasts. Otherwise, I really love it!

  9. This is a very light weight bra, the cups are made of a foamy light material, it is called a spacer bra because it is made of this breatheable material. The band is very stretchy, wich means it is not firm enough, as are the straps, wich are very cute but very stretchy too, and do not adjust all the way, it is very comfortable, but does not give the support nor the lift i am used to with my lily from cleo by panache or my parfait by affinitas bras. It gives me a very rounded shape wich i love. I think is a very cute bra.

  10. Here is a good cheaper alternative to the French spacer bras (Simone Perele, Chantelle, Le Mystère) if you fall into this bra's limited size matrix.

The sides of the bra are made of two layers of fine nylon mesh. The molded cups are not padded and are thinner and more lightweight than the Panache, Cleo and Freya t-shirt bras I've tried. Overall the construction makes this a nice warm weather bra.

Fit may be better for those who aren't definitely shallow. The band feels true to size. Those in between cup sizes may prefer to take their larger size.
